You can use acrylic paint in jesmonite. Works really well. Also invest in a retarder which stop it setting too quickly. Also always put the powder into the liquid first, and colour your liquid before you add the powder.

Hi there, just a quick tip, you need to colour your liquid before you add the powder. This will help with air bubbles as there will be no need to mix it for so long. Lastly, as the Jesmonite mix cures so quickly, try and have everything ready before you start mixing. I hope that helps 😊

Hi, thanks so much for the tip! I haven’t thought of doing that. In the tutorials I’ve watched, people add pigment to the entire mix not the liquid. I will try this next time!!

@@alexakravcraftystudio Alexa, although your properly have reaslised that you do have to add the pigment to the liquid first (to get your desired shade and colour) and then add the powder. If you can get a cheap battery hand drill use a metal mixing blade, there's a specific one for Jesmonite that limits air bubbles and gives you a nice complete clean mix without lumps and bubbles. We all learn the hard way!

Was also going to say to mix the pigment into the liquid but otherwise it didn’t turn out that bad…also it’s good to see what you learnt from the experience and sharing those with others like me, that are also new to this medium 😊

I think I must have bought the same pigments. Next time, I will use loads like you did. They turned out well. Thanks for sharing

Nice !! No sanding is needed ? Or coating so the gold isn't coming of with use ? Thx !!

I didn’t include it the video because I was just practicing but yes normally I would still sand it to smooth the edges and apply acrylic sealer

Чтобы получить чёрный цвет используйте сухой пигмент для бетона - тогда будет чёрный цвет

I haven’t tried it, but I don’t see why not!
You could probably try using a hot glue gun to glue it

You might mean well but that’s such a rude thing to say.🤡 I’m sure people are able to decide on their own about the speed without you low-key insulting the creator 😂
