Absolutely Beautiful.. Hope your birthday was beautiful!! Love seeing dad and his elegant daughter singing a song that touches my soul. Grew up in Syosset with MarySue (Elizabeths sister) except I went to catholic school while she went to Syosset high with my year older brother whom she had a mad crush on. Cristiano‘s was my pizza place and hang out. Living in California now since 1981, I can’t tell you how much this song brings me home. I look forward to retiring soon and moving back east.

I saw him in concert on his birthday in 1998. While he took a brake the crew asked us to sing happy birthday when he came back out. He did a long set that night. I think he was just happy having fun. He's a great live performer. He does all his music just like he recorded it. Awesome talent. 🎹🎶👍✌️

that’s mark rivera, billy’s saxophonist saxophonist since 1982. since richie left in early 1982, billy needed a new saxophonist after releasing Nylon Curtain, david brown (the lead guitarist at the time) knew mark and introduced the idea to have mark be their new sax man. billy accepted and had mark auditioned for him and got in after billy stopped the band just to say how good mark was. mark hasn’t left since, and richie’s played with billy a few times, mainly in the Piano Man to Innocent Man tour.

Who the heck messed with the sound system? Her mic is too low!
The music was drowning her out. I couldn't hear her clearly.
She hasn’t learned how to use the mic yet, like dad! That’s why she keeps fading in & out. Wow, is that frustrating as heck! Listen to dad! Watch him sing directly into the mic, at ALL times. Stop walking & waving to people until you know how to work the mic! If you’re going to pull away from the mic & move it back & forth, adjust your voice or take lessons on how to work the mic! It’s important, and quite frustrating to listen to. She doesn’t seem confident in delivery, which is why she’d pull it away & soften up her voice, when trying to hit those high runs...yes, notes were off key.
Billy can't believe what's shes wearing. They r great together though.❤

She has been trying to be a singer for a long time she has carved a small niche in the upscale hotels bars ect. Had a lot of work done to make herself prettier. She’s a lovely talented girl but won’t be big like her dad and that’s ok. If it was gonna happen it would have already. She is still talented and lovely and has a great family. What else is there? She really fine tuned her look. Did a great job. Go Alexa !!

This is the second video I´ve seen of Della Rose with Billy Joel. I don´t understand why she´s "asked"(forced ?) to go on stage. She´s just standing there, doing nothing but holding the microphone. Don´t get me wrong, I know how terrifying this must be, but she´s obviously not ready. Let her decide for herself when she´s ready
