Listen, it's not Smash Bros, but this game is actually really sick. Slime canceling is such an amazing mechanic that can be used so effectively in many ways. And the online is insanely good. Seriously, I have had little to no issues with the online nor have experienced any input delay. I understand why people may not want to try the game because of the price or because of how the first game turned out, but believe me. This is a good platform fighter.
unfortunately the US server is the only populated one, it can take literally hours (6 hours for me in aus when I tested it like 2 weeks after launch) to find a match elsewhere
Love this game so much, would love to see more highlights! Was havin fun on ranked just today doing cool combos and laughing over the adorable sound effects and everything, hope this game has nice support in the future, more fun events, but is already really great presently too!❤
That's odd, the game has some fun mechanics. Once you see the potential of slime cancelling, the game opens up so much more. It's so fun, and I still play smash bros daily, it doesn't have to replace it.

I knew this game was good but its literally pure combos, you can convert off of anything it looks like. That price tag isnt worth it just for that, and Im afraid of being the guy who buys an almost finished game expecting it to get finished, but I really do hope it either gets finished, becomes widely played despite the missing polish, or lives on through games imitating its innovations.
the neutral can be fantastic when you get a feel for it, and not every move is a combo starter although admitedly many are. plus you can slime burst to cancel knockback, these touch of deaths only worked because the opponent had used their meter already

The first one was less amusing, okay, but dude, as a fan of Melee myself, i'd rather play a sequel of something we've wanted from Nickelodeon and do different combos than doing the same combos again, and again, and again without new combos to share on Ultimate. I love Ultimate, i love seeing clips of it, but come on, you have to see and try stuff before saying crap on it.
