It's interesting that Washington would rather go after the rights of law-abiding gun owners than solve the crime problem. I have lived in Washington my whole life and liberal policies have only made life worse. For the first time in my life I am actually considering leaving the state.
The Seattle Police Department's civic motto is "And not arrests were made, but we have rainbows on our cars." Local Seattle news reporters always say, "No arrests were made while authorities are investigating possible hate crime where someone drove over a rainbow painted on the public roadway."
Even if an arrest(s) are made the D.A. will always eventually drop or greatly reduce charges if the suspect is of the “disenfranchised” and thus, protected class. Carry on Seattle!
Check out Chicago its so bad they stopped reporting on it and they have the toughest gun law in the country criminals know law biding citizens aren't armed and its a toy store for criminals they are exploiting the fact people are limited on arming themselves you think gun laws will help where there is strict gun laws criminals will flock there because no one can stop them if they aren't armed what are you gonna do stop someone that has a gun with a baseball bat oh I better be careful they may ban baseball bat's cause you could possibly protect yourself with it things are so out of hand if you don't like guns and want to disarm people they should set aside certain states where you can move where people can't own guns and leave the rest of the country where people can be armed and see what happens the guns are already here you will never get all the guns off the streets and as long as there is a possibility of a criminal having a gun I will never give mine up so good luck with that idea that if you ban guns all the criminals will say gee this is illegal I better turn in my gun you anti gunners are lacking something in your brain I wish we could fix whatever is clouding your judgment but disarming people that don't break the law isn't the answer
Yup they are trying to pass more gun laws restricting law abiding citizens from even owning. To protect yourself. The police are worry about someone being called gay or something stupid.
That was my neighborhood for several years, and I hung out there before and after. Nope. Wasn't like this. Granted I left before Seattle began "reimagining" law enforcement. 🤦🏿♀️
Can we please call it what it is, CHOP/CHAZ! Thank you. Anyhow joke aside. RIP the individual lost. Dont get diatracted and watch your six. Criminals fear little right now, because justice is handled by the unjust in these parts. Violence is violence no matter the tool. The only defense against it is violence. Watch out for your more vulnerable brothers and sisters out there. Take care of each other.
The victim was not the intended target here. If you watch closely the shooter doesn't even see the victim, he has his weapon trained on the person behind the victim. As far as I can tell the victim crossed the street diagonally to give the other man a wide berth, and the shooter didn't even see the victim when he took his shot. The victim stepped in the line of sight/fire at the same time the perpetrator was trying to shoot the target behind him-the one who ran off. I knew the victim personally and they were just truly minding their own business. They were even courteous up until the very end, just trying to avoid bumping into the other guy on the crosswalk. The victim was one of the nicest, kindest human beings the world has ever known that truly did nothing wrong in their life ever. It's insane we live in a country where just walking down the street is a death sentence when you're not involved in any criminal activity. This was truly wrong place, wrong time. Rest in peace to our beloved friend. We love you so much.
A homeless hunter. There have been dozens of these killers in the last decade. They also have been known to beat homeless people while they sleep. @@tinman3586 here in washington there many programs and funding to help people get off the streets into half way homes to recover. Its just people dont want to go out and help themselves most of the time. Im an advocate for these programs. Its hard to help people that wont take the help.
@@444onthefloor It doesn't matter. All they have to do is look like they may be living on the street or be available as a target. If you watch the shooter, he was always facing focused forward then the guy passed him from behind as another guy crosses the street. The guy from behind became the target probably because he had his back to the shooter. The bottom line is people need to be off the streets in this day and age.

Random or planed, it does to matter, if the shooter did bit have handgun, this killing would not have happened. Seattle is a dangerous area morning, noon and night. The once beautiful Capital has turned into cesspool of crime.
He would have used a knife, machete, ax, fire accelerant, or any number of weapons available. The only thing banning weapons does is leave the law abiding without defence.
All sorts of bad things happening in all points in Seattle. Anyone from Magnolia? That seems like the most safest neighborhood in Seattle. I like that it’s almost like its own island within Seattle. Away from all the riff raff. That’s definitely not West Seattle.
Really? It’s random just like all sanctuary cities. He’ll get a slap on the wrist because who wants to hurt his feelings. See something, say something work-how’s that workin out??
Tell that to the school shootings in Texas, its not just sanctuary cities and has nothing to do with immigrants. Its all the useless "muh guns" peoples fault this keeps happening everywhere in America.
Used to party in Cap Hill in my early and late 20's. I stopped by to grab food at Lil Woody's burger spot (delicious by the way), and noticed how bad it is in the area. It's such a shame to see the decline of Cap Hill. I couldn't imagine how bad it is at night now.
I don't understand why the host of new (unconstitutional) gun laws didn't step in and protect the man who was killed? Even the gay sidewalk provided no protection. Strange.
@@kyleMcBurnett The only similarity I see is in the use of a firearm. Targeting was as different as night and day, so was identity and MO of shooter. No manifesto.
I thought gun owners were supposed to stop crimes like this. Hmmm its almost like guns are bad.... huh... Who would'a thought that people owning guns doesn't solve gun crime.
Our political officials (elected) are a communist insurgency. They're incentivising crime for the purposeful destabilizing of society. This is their playbook.
Seattle is the most expensive third world on the planet these days.

I mean why bother investigating. Even if they find the suspect he'll be set free and told very firmly not to do that again.

Stabbing in the CID today.
