This shines a lot o black businesses and why so many fail.
Lack of accountability and sensitivity to honest criticism even though he was fair.
This shows us we have so much work to do as a dwindled community and demographic.

It creates trust between the business and customers and increases the chances that they’ll return. But if you think it’s petty, then so be it. He’s so respected because despite personal preferences around the food itself, he has always focused on cultivating a team who works to maintain a certain level of professionalism and respect with their customers. He blew up on people but anyone who followed his career knows that energy was directed to those who failed or flat out refused to take accountability, disrespected their patrons, failed to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen as well as common areas in the restaurant - all incredibly fair, in my opinion.

These restaurant owners should realize and understand that sometimes celebrities (and influencers) just want to have a meal in their space like the rest of us, without all of the unwarranted attention. Imagine you being a celebrity, going to brunch, and a mob of people are lining up to take selfies with you, record videos, have small take and ask questions - when all you wanted was to sit down and eat your chicken and waffles in peace.
I’m from Atlanta but I live in Los Angeles. I’ve been bicoastal between each city for the last several years. Celebrities walk amongst us in public (in LA) like the average everyday person. They may get priority seating at restaurants, but it’s definitely not one of those things where patrons rush up to them interrupting their experience. Atlanta on the other hand, use celebrities who visit their restaurant(s) like a feature on an album.

Chad clearly displays an elitist attitude. Yes these are black businesses affected but these are BLACK consumers that are being mistreated. Does he or these other people even think about the regular consumers that spend their hard earned money on these places??? But it's okay to treat famous people better than regular customers? And his comment about Gordon Ramsay did it for me. Chad is ignorant. It's a shame his own child had to correct him. I still don't think he truly understands. And SOME of these black owners don't get it either. But elitists clearly don't take accountability. They're making themselves look bad. Keith brought business to several businesses but now these uppity owners are mad because they feel like they deserve better responses from food critics?

Instead of closing down they gave us menus to fan ourselves off. The owner went around apologizing saying it would be fixed the next day. You do not have to be a credentialed person to identify with good food. Most of our family members are not certified culinary artists, yet their cooking skills will have you coming back for more. We have great cooks in my family who specialize in certain foods. At events, most people want to know who made what, before they go to gatherings and then talk about the food before they eat it. They critique the food and tell others. Perhaps Mr. Lee is not a credentialed culinary artist, however, people are requesting his opinion because of his honesty and influence. He pays for his food and leaves an extremely generous tip along with encouraging words while never deviating from his faith in God. Mr. Keith Lee's humbleness is awesome. God is amazing! Best of success to all.

I’m glad Ocho’s daughter checked him and he came on social media humbled. The problem with some of these black businesses is that they treat the customer as if they should feel privileged that they allow us to come spend money on them instead of the other way around. This makes it extremely hard to support black owned businesses as much as I would love to. That Real Milk & Honey owner is gonna get humbled real quick. It’s not just the service, but his and the manager’s response to the issue Keith Lee had coming to their restaurant. It’ll only be a matter of time before they have to close, it’ll be awhile. Not saying you should totally kiss the customer’s ass, but these black owned businesses lack the customer service skills cause they’re only in it for the money rather than the passion for the industry.
