I decided to refresh my French after some forty years, and among numerous courses that I found, I chose this one of Dylane. She seems to understand how to proceed with foreigners. A very professional touch and an inspiring way to teach. French turned out to be a much too difficult task when I was young, but now that I´m retired I´m really motivated. And even if the language is still very difficult, it feels a bit more familiar after having the knowledge of Italian. My mother language Finnish doesn´t help much. I hope Dylane is still active in teaching and I wish her all the best.
Your teaching techniques are flawless. It takes someone with a big heart filled with loads of kindness to give quality content like this for free. I'm quite surprised. I had checked earlier if you tutor because I wanted to pay and learn from you. But I saw that you don't. So I just watch these lectures and compliment them with my private tutor's here in India. Honestly, your kindness is so contagious that it's worth catching. Shine on.
Thank you for your comment ❤️ No I don't tutor because the lessons take me too much time 🙂 So I published a few books so people can learn more than just my lessons 😉
She is the best ever teacher online I have ever seen, her choice of words used in the teaching show valuable research she made towards preparing this lessons. Stay blessed 🙌

I am now going to spend much time to learn french. French was compulsory for me during my 4 years university studies in Ghana, yet a toddler born in France or Lomé can speak and understand french more than me. It was a really good explaination video about Silent letters! the E preceded by a consonant made me confusesd a bit but still after listening to it several times really it makes difference! Thank you Dylane

Buen dia, maestra: I just finished watching this important video twice, 45 minutes, and I learned a lot. I continue to be impressed with your intellect: Your English is excellent with your cute accent and it is obvious you enjoy teaching and sharing your extensive knowledge experience of the French language with your students. I do have a concern, I must share with you: at the beginning of the video, I made myself comfortable as you suggested, with 1/2 glass of milk and three Piroulines but I ended up consuming a full glass of milk and six Piroulines due to the interesting nature of the video. OMG, I have to hit the gym soon to burn those extra calories! I am going to buy the Pronunciation book to complement your excellent videos that I will continue watching. Muchisimas gracias!
I loved this video and following along while making notes. It helped me realized where I’ve been lacking and that’s learning these small pronunciation.

first of all thank you for your effort. I've been trying to learn french phonics for months I wish I found your course earlier. Everything is put in their place. the way you started with accents then spelling then the rest of the course.. genius move.. I cant thank you enough but I hope you get how much I appreciate it. now my question, i've watched a video which says that we don't pronounce consonants at the end of the word unless it's F R C L such in words like sac, canal, jour, actif.. is it a general rule?
I like to teach each letter separately. But none off the rules are wrong. Up to you which one you want to remember :) There are plenty of words with FCL at the end that are silent as well: cerf, banc, outil, etc. R is usually pronounced or part of a sound (er = é)

From what I am hearing in the video of you pronouncing the words, it really reminds me of speaking european portuguese in these cases. We drop e's all the time, especially in day to day speaking. It doesn't feel, to me, like the e is "silent" but more like de-voiced when you say it slowly. It's almost like a small exasperation of air at the end versus fully pronouncing anything.
