For maintainence & upkeep it will slightly higher than the Japanese car unless u need to change the interior/exterior parts it will be expensive abit. For engine parts it share with Peugeot 308, so nothing worry here.
@@jacky-seow Oh thank you. Even a local mechanic told me that the DS5 is based on the C5 construction. My primary reason for moving is lower maintenance costs. The full service for the Volvo V40 seemed very expensive to me, while it is much lower for the Citroen. Also, the EGR valve will cost me a lot, which is a disaster. Volvo certainly has a stronger build quality and it is stronger, but I believe that the quality of the engine is on the side of Citroen from the PSA group. What do you think?
@@milan6439 yes, actually it’s not a big problem for a PSA vehicle. Their common issue should be oil leaking due to their valve cover(plastic), there is an oem alloy valve cover replacement in my market here. I don’t know your place have it or not.
@@jacky-seow Thank you. I have oil issues with Volvo as because I need an additional 0.5L for every 1000 to 1500 kilometers driven. That's the main issue with V40 model and with the other vehicles as well.

Not a bad choice. It’s just a Peugeot 308 with luxury interior and outstanding exterior look. Quite comfy for a french ride.
