@@definitelynotexperts offside is when a player that gets the ball is on opponents' side of the pitch, and any part of his body(excluding arms) is closer to the goal line than both the ball and second-last opponent player (mostly the last defender). When you get the ball being offside and referee catches that, the ball goes to the opponent players. That goal was disallowed, altough it shouldn't be because at the time Cristiano shoots, Nani is farther from the goal than Casillas(goalkeeper), Pique(last defender) and the ball. It was in 2010 and there was no live-video verification to check that.
