With Barcelona?
@@definitelynotexperts no in total club plus national team
Oh, okay well this was just his time with Barcelona. When you consider the entire career it's even more impressive.
8.5 million a loss for Ronaldo 😅
bro i think you never know how great he is ,he is not a ordinary player he is imotion
Agreed, I'm still finding out just how great he is
MESSI GOAT ,magical messi
Ronaldo is the GOAT
The reason Neuer is considered the goat is because his style of play revolutionised football. He was such a good player not only as a goalkeeper but also great in terms of ball control, positioning and football intelligence. During possession he would actually play as the last defender rather than a goalkeeper. This would give his team the enourmous advantage of an extra player during possession. This was such an advantage that nowadays all young goalkeepers are trained to be like him
The trick to finessing a goalkeeper post is to not flop around prematurely xD

CR7 the ultimate goat ❤
1. Messi is GOAT & Incredible Genius (The way he thinks & the way he plays 🔥) 2. Football is the most famous sport in the world Morethan 5 billion people watched the game ( So don't compare football with any american sports it's way more popular than them) Only the views basis superbowl final watched by 208 Million people but World cup final 2.85 billion & whole tournament 5.1 billion people ❤ 3. Messi & Ronaldo are the most followed persons on the planet Ronaldo has over billion followers across all social media platforms Instagram 647 Million (most) Facebook 170 Million (Most) & other platforms 200 million followers Messi Instagram 504 Million (2nd most) Facebook 117 Million (2nd Most) 4. Ronaldo earns $3.2 million & Messi earns $2.6 million per sponsored post 🥵 5. Ronaldo & messi both in the top 3 highest paid players in the world for more than 10 years row (They both earned billion dollars in their career) Last year only ronaldo earned $260 million & messi earned $132 million 🥶 6. They both have been endorsed by many brands (Specially Messi signed lifetime deal with adidas and ronaldo signed lifetime deal with Nike & those both brands deal alone worth 1 billion each) 🤯 7. MVP & Ballon d'Or is not same (For the MVP only considering the American NBA or NFL but Ballon d'Or consider all the football leagues around the world, just think officially 209 leagues exist around the world, so they give Ballon d'Or for the best of all of them so its difficult) Messi has 8 Ballon d'Or Ronaldo has 5 Ballon d'Or
1. Agreed 2. Don't tell me what to do. Also, you just compared them. 3 -> 6. 🤯 7. How many of those leagues reasonably have a chance to produce a winner?

I'll do that one next! Thank you
to put things into perspective, ronaldo who's the most complete and possibly the greatest goal scorer ever and somehow sneaked into the goat debate with messi using his pr and help of spanish media has 69 goals in his best year. messi had 82 in a season(club +country) alone and 91 in an year paying 10 more games than ronaldo. also, messi is the most efficient goalscorer of all time, havinh the best shot per goal ratio for someone who has scored 850 goals. in 2012, messi scored 30 more goals than ronaldo while taking 100 sum less shots than him. the comparison is nothing but comical, messi ever since 2010/11 season has been clear of anything ronaldo can ever do. messi from 2017/18-20/21 is the GREATEST VERSION OF ANY PLAYER that can exist in football. bro carried a dead beat barca team alongside ter stegen (goalkeeper) for 4 straight years only for barca to sign stupid players at absurdly high prices resulting in them going into a generational debt which would further result in him having to leave the club.
30 more goal 100 less shots is ridiculous! There shouldn't be a comparison, It's Messi by miles. How do you not forecast for keeping Messi though? As you say, the greatest version of any player, surely there'd be some money stashed in a mattress for this. Sad.
@@definitelynotexperts the barca mangement for some reason is too stupid lmao, we are just comical as a club, we signed dembele and coutinho for 120+ million each and they barely did anything for us. plus, under bartomeu (the previous barca president) salaries offered to players were ridiculously high which is still the case to this day under laporta, guys like de jong are being paid annually wages at par with a player like mbappe. for some reason, we are still not fixing the wage structure. also, the previous president lied to messi taht he(messi) could leave int he summer of 2020 and join man city and then proceeded to not fulfill his promise and kept messi for another year forcefully till 2021 summer. messi wanted to leave in 2020 because of the way he was being treated and people in the board didn't want him in the club. however, in 2021 when he actually wanted to stay and was ready to sign the contract at like 4pm on the given date, he was told the very same day without any prior info that he would have to leave. he was even ready to cut down his wages by half or even almost play for free but the league financial rules didn't allow that. all this bullshitery behind the scenes and a team that should've not been in the ucl somehow reached the quarters of ucl twice both in 2020 and 2021 only because of his sole carrying.
It's a shame that horrible management is the reason he's gone. Paying people on par with MBAPPE when you have Messi on the team seems illegal. League financial rules shouldn't have allowed that lol. In American football we have a problem of teams paying players way too much because that's what the "market" says they should make that, and it screws franchises over. The owners are still making billions, so they don't care. Sports wage structures are broken globally it feels like. I can't imagine having a generational or historical player of this Calibur and treating him any way but like a GOD. That's how fans saw him and so should the team. Now he's in America, destroying gym teachers basically.
@@definitelynotexperts yeah that broken wage structure is a major part of barca's financial problems as of now. he went to psg though in 2021 for 2 seasons till the summer of 2023 and then came to the mls in 2023. won 4/3 trophies at psg being their best player in his second season over there, but for people who've watched hi for too long know that outside a barca shirt and argentina team he looks uninterested in the game. he barely took any interest and looked as if he didnt wanted to play in psg, mainly cause of the change he didn't want to happen and then the fact that psg managers always built the team around mbappe and not messi which is utterly comical, bcos how can u have messi on your team and tell him to play for someone else and not the other way round.paris fans booed him for the last season even though he won them the league barely by scoring a last minute free kick. but they were mostly pissed off by the fact that he beat france in the wc final in the internationals. that's why you see him happy asf rn in miami jus enjoying his football unlike he was in paris for 2 seasons. not to mention, an uninterested/unmotivated/finished messi AT PSG had 67 goal contributions in 75 games for them, which is quite literally the peak of a lot of players.
I didn't even know about the psg stop tbh but that makes sense why paris would hate him. Seems like they'd still want to show him some love considering their roster just got better. He does look happy in Miami, scoring goals, winning games, and everyone that overpays for those tickets is there to see him specifically.

Maradona was one of the bests but messi is the goat. he is the ultimate sportsman player. a player who is almost perfect. there was never one and in football is way harder because the ball is round and its eleven players, how can one be perfect and be so important? messi is an alien. 10 times better at football then mj ever was at basketball. this video doesnt make justice to his amazing skills, goals, plays.
I think it's pretty well accepted that he's the best and I can't disagree. You're right this video does nothing to indicate how good he is but rather to document the story of him bringing glory to Argentina again. MJ is regarded for his mentality and competitiveness along with the championships but in terms of skill on the court, there's been better. I don't think there's been better than Messi in my limited opinion.
@@definitelynotexperts yeah, u can say that mj is almost outdated in therms of skills and not its only this. messi is the best passer, the best dribbler, the most consistent player. thats like magic, kyrie and mj in the same player. thats what messi is. because he is the best passer and the best scorrer and the greatest mentality even tho its not so expressed as mj, he even better at this, because mj was a mad man, but messi is simple but dont confuse, his mentality is goat.
Messi is the GOAT for sure
Everything without pressing!
Homie needs to open a dry cleaner B)
Messi came back like 3 months after he said he wasn’t gonna play for Argentina anymore.
For some reason I felt like he actually spent some significant time away, but it was only 3 months lol
It was because all the local teams in Argentina refused to play until Messi comes back … So he was basically forced to come back
lol what a 5-head move by them
The next guy after Messi MIGHT... be Lamine Yamal. He's already achieved things at the age of 16-17 that Messi didn't even do. (One of the best players at the Euro 2024.) But that's too much pressure for a kid. For anyone, really.
hahahaha.. Lamine yamal will be gone in few years. Don't hype! Messi is an alien, don't compare kids with Messi. Messi playing in Yamal age was different breed!
You're saying he MIGHT be better than Messi was at this age? Obviously, he's going to have to do a lot to even be legitimately in the conversation but that'd be great if another Legend was already on the way
Messi is a different breed for sure
@@definitelynotexperts Yes. It seems very unlikely that anyone will reach Messi's heights in our lifetime. But Lamine is already a starting player for Barcelona and his national team at the age of 16. And is already arguably their best player. It took Messi several more years to achieve that. Lamine plays very similarly to Messi, and perhaps the strangest thing of all is that in 2007, Barcelona players did a photoshoot with some random babies from Spain. They photographed Messi bathing a baby in a bathtub. That baby turned out to be Lamine Yamal. Completely random coincidence, but people like to joke that maybe some of Messi's powers transfered to baby Lamine. If he end up having even 1/4 of Messi's career, it'll be something special.
@@celeschan90 when Bangladesh starts to cheer for yamal you might think he is something.......
the last 4 goals is not added in this video

Always lovely to see another witnessing greatness. I wouldn't say this is the best video for his beautiful Argentina story, but now that you watched this, watching something like "the complete story" or "world champion" isn't necessary. What I will say is a must watch now though is "The Messi Era" uploaded a few years ago by 'Magical Messi'. Goes into great detail of his club achievements. A couple rough edits in order to avoid copyright but still a phenomenal video and like I say, a must watch.
Thank you! It's always rough dealing with copyright but we appreciate the watch. I can't wait to watch that!

you gotta watch the messi era, would give you the best perspective of how absurd prime messi was and remove all if any doubts as to who is the goat, this video was more national team centric. also, the goated commentator is peter drury, man's a fucking poet. great reaction though

also, man if you watching soccer you gotta watch the two best ones out there the messi era, by magical messi (club career) messiah - a lionel messi movie, by henrick lehmann. (intl career)
I'll do those next!
@@definitelynotexperts yeah they're probably the best ones out there and yeah with both of them, commentaries in the background are super important as they will give you the right context.
the last freekick although makes it look like the goalie's sold but it's not lol, it happens a lot almost in every league in the world when the curve on the ball is ridiculous enough to curl it in just at the end moment while goalies think it's going out. they always dive but sometimes take their chances lmao. also, the second last player to directly touch the ball before a goal gets the assist. eg- messi passing to suarez and suarez scoring off of it would give messi an assist.
It must be incredibly difficult to defend against an elite scorer like Messi, to the casual eye it looked funny lol. As far as the assist goes, does the shot from the second player have to be immediate? What if he dribbles a little?
@@definitelynotexperts nah, nah it don't matter how you pass, let's say messi dribbles past 4 players and then makes a pass to suarez and suarez scores, that's an assist for messi. if messi recieves a simple pass from the midfield and then passes it directly to suarez without carrying the ball forward/dribbling it past 1 or 2 players and suarez scores. it still counts as a messi assist, because he is providing the final ball for suarez. so basically, the player who provides the final ball before it goes into the net by the scorer, gets the assist. obviously there are a few complex CASES in this counting system like when the ball rebounds off the goalie or the post after a player takes as shot and then someone else scores from the rebound but that's basically for STAT NERDS TO DEAL WITH.
