I have this vacuum and I love it. I use it every day on my tile and my rugs. This unit is great for every day cleanup. If you have a lot of carpet, you should get a heavy duty vacuum.
I too fell for this vacuum. I needed something that didn't take up much room when stored and was easy to take out and use for quick jobs. Well, I've had it for a bit over a year now and I just want to chuck it out the door and wrap it around a tree. I never even used the "attachments". I think now it's total run time is under three minutes and then it just shuts off. This is one of those too good to be true wonders. I certainly expected more from Electrolux! I haven't sought out another "quickie" vacuum as of yet but it sure as heck won't be Electrolux.
I recommend the EUREKA Quick up. That thing does me so good when cleaning. It's so good that it's basically free, it even comes with a 2 year warranty. Don't be scared to spend 30$ on this amazing vacuum
We are about to return the second unit in as many weeks. They take forever to recharge and then only run a couple of minutes. The service center suggested draining the battery each time and recharging for 24 hours. A broom is more convenient!
You are definitely missing a part in the filter canister. That may be why the lentils kept falling back out, mine works fine and doesn't have that problem.
FYI, the guy at the Electrolux store told me that this was not a 'real' Electrolux vacuum. He said that Electrolux products would never be so inferior in performance and he can't service it or get parts for it.
You are missing the outer part of the filter assembly, that's why yours is dropping bits. Have another look in the box, you haven't assembled it correctly. I have 2 of these, 1 upstairs & 1 downstairs, they are awesome, you just need to assemble it correctly, it ain't hard.
Thank god his was given to us, I sure wouldn’t buy this. I was wondering why the rocks would fall back out. Is there something to prevent this? If so please let me know! Otherwise back to my regular bulky vacuum lol
Idk why people give that vacuum good reviews. even if you tried to give it a good review. I've bought that vacuum because of good fake reviews. That thing is horrible. Died on me quick in about 10 charges
This vacuum is garbage! I had two and never again. Poor suction and poor quality. We used it on all hard surface and the wheels fell off, battery wore out quickly, dirty to empty filter and the flex hose at the bottom split on both vacuums. I really liked the form factor but performance and quality were low. I'm looking for a great cordless stick vac for hard surface floors with one rug in the whole house. Any recommendations? Does it have to be the ultra-expensive Dyson?
Where can I get mine repaired? It keeps turning off with a fully charged battery and empty receptical. Otherwise is cleans just fine. I've had it 3 years with no battery problems. Not much support from Electrolux so I'm going back to Shark.
Total waste of money!! This vacuum only lasted 6 months. JUNK! JUNK! Called electrolux and no support. They offered another battery charger for 40 bucks!?! Really sink money money into a piece of crap product. No thanks.
This vacuum is a piece of crap, The battery lasts less than a year and the price of the replacement battery is 3 quarters of the price of the vacuum. Stay away from this product unless you like throwing your money out the window.
I have purchased so many Vaccum cleaners for my 4,000 square foot home and I feel sorry for our world if we can’t figure out how to invent a good Vaccum cleaner. Never a good experience.
Whatta piece of shit!! Spend the extra $$ and go for the Digital Slim. I'm not so sold on all of their models, but for a cordless stick, It's performance is outstanding.
Good video... however, the main point of this device is to get the dirt.. who cares if it can make U-turn if it cannot do the job in the first place? And thinking that engineers are paid to design such a piece of sh_t!!!
This was a piece of junk! I paid quite alot from Lowes . It wpuld barely pick up anything but very light dust/hair. Kitty litter, sand, forget it. I ended up leaving it on the curb...Someone else can struggle with it!
This is an awful awful vacuum. I’ve had it for about 3 or 4 years now. It basically just takes up space. I am finally just going to get rid of it. It is only good for picking up cat fur tumbleweed and feathers. Hair always gets massively tangled around the brush. Very hard to cut it off. A vacuum is called a vacuum because of suction, which this has none of. It’s completely worthless. A pretty piece of junk with a good brand name attached.

Thank you so much for making this excellent video. You saved me from wasting $200!
I was almost buying. Good to watch this first. Now I've decided to buy some other brand.
Ive used mine for well over a year and I am very satisfied with it,and you are surely missing the basket.

Paid 12$ for mine at a thrift store. Works well so far for me at my record store. I didn’t need anything crazy.
You are definitely missing a part in the filter canister. That may be why the lentils kept falling back out, mine works fine and doesn't have that problem.
Thanks for the heads-up!
Just a question where can I order for a new charger

Can you wash that filter tower with hot water (+60- + 100 C)? I have had it 1½ years so far with no problem.
Como saber cuando edta cargada la luz esta amarilla .tendria que esperar que cambie a verde?
Does the filter prevent larger-sized debris, (such as the lentils), from entering the collection basket?
I was about to purchase this..I don't think I've seen so many "piece of shit" reviews for one product. Thank you for sparing me!
Thanks for the honest review. I don't think this one's for me.
How long the battery last for one use?

the cleaner is a bullshit! You will never ever find the battery replacement! Official battery price will be almost the same as a for the cleaner!
When the rechargeable batteries die, what next? No replacement batteries to be found FAIL!
Just from the acoustics of the plastic I can tell it’s crap.
Total piece of junk . Don’t think Costco is proud of selling it . Everyone I know that owned one got rid of it . What a waste of money .
They are junk
