So, stock 110’s with bbr intakes and 22mm carbs, I have 2 questions. Does the bike feel stronger with the carb installed? And which pipe is better? Yours being the pro circuit has a bigger header than the Fmf I believe, but I’ve read bigger is to large for stock 110s and fmfs are cheap.
The bike feels stronger and sounds fuller with the carb on if that makes sense. Honestly the Fmf would seem like it would flow more. Going to be doing a exhaust review video in a few weeks. I'd buy that bills pipe if I had to do it again though. That thing looks knarly. We run both differ fmfs, 2 bros, Pro circuit, yoshi and big gun I believe in our Group. Should be a good video. 👍
Lol I'm not for sure. But dang she looks good. Plus bills pipes are legit. They been around for awhile. Always top dog when it came to making two stroke pipes and there welds are amazing. To own a piece of that history purchasing one of there pipes would be awesome. MADE IN USA!
@@FullSpeedImpulse lol idk if I could ever see myself spending that much on a pipe for a little pitty it’d have to be gold😂 Turns out I’m really thinking about it, Tbolt and faster minis have only the bills pipe and the fmf and I want one of the larger diameter pipes what you think should I pull the trigger?🤔
@@FullSpeedImpulse update, I did it lol Bills pipe is on its way from Tbolt, I have the bbr intake at the house too idk if I said that already, just curious for your jet recommendation to start, I have mains all the way up to 110 even though that’s probably way to fat and pilots up to 45. If ya see this lmk, thanks!
Nice video! Sorry I have a random question and you have helped me before, Working on a 2004 trx450r Only starts if you give it full throttle/ and will only run for 15 seconds on full throttle , sounds to rich Valves are tight…. Carburetor has been cleaned multiple times, no change Has the older style carburetor with the big choke lever , things I’ve done New spark plug , oil change , new oem stator (had no spark when I got it ) I have the oem cdi and a aftermarket pro com cdi no change when I try either one New oem rectifier New coil and oem coil no change Open air box no lid K&n filter Full exhaust( has no packing….) Jet size 178 / 48 Tried multiple Needle settings , no change … Any help would be appreciated thank you!
What makes you think it's rich? Alot of smoke coming out? If you have had the carb off alot make sure your throttle is not pulling the butterfly flap open in the carb at all. You should be able to tell in your thumb throttle because there will be a smidge of slack if it's correct.
@@FullSpeedImpulse Thanks for the reply! When kick starting the bike , throttle must be wide open for it to “start” but bogs out and won’t stay running unless it’s wide open , I was thinking it’s rich and needs the butter fly open to let more air in , throttle cable is set with slack and butter fly seals , I noticed a plastic vacuum type thing on the carb , called the valve ass air cut? Part number 16510-MZ2-650 Was wondering if that could be the issue with the bike , or valves are to tight
what if you're running just an aftermarket exhaust exhaust and not an aftermarket air cleaner. would you still recommend this carb? if yes would you still recommend 22mm? Thanks.
I think you may not notice as much performance gains still running the stock airbox. If your set up runs good now I'd leave it. I miss my stock air box sometimes when we are ripping these things in the woods/mud/water
Hmm… trying to remember if there is adjustments on the needle or not. I always leave it in the middle until running the bike with new jets. How well your bike is jetted will determine if you need to mess with this or not. The needle setting helps you dial in that mid range. While your pilot is idle to 1/4 throttle and main is anything past 1/4 throttle. If your main and pilot are spot on there shouldn’t be a lot of need to mess with this too much. But that all depends on how picky you are too. Hope this helps a little.
You have to buy a special tool that can reach it. Kind of like a flat head with a right angle. Your going to like the carb!!! Just put a 22mm on our Xr100 build
So what size jets did you wind up going with. And if you remember where was your mixture screw. Got a 105 main and a 22.5 pilot and it seems to be running a little rich. Black dry plug. Thanks. Any help will be appreciated
@@tonygold426 looks like I had a 15 pilot with a 125 main in it. Ran really good. I now have that same carb in my xr100 we just built if you haven’t seen yet.
My man, it’s been a year and I finally bought the 22, I have but one question, where are you on the fuel screw as far as number of turns out? I am 1&1/2 turns out with a 110 main, stock pilot and a clip richer on the needle than what they sent and the plug is reading lean as ever, it sounds and runs great but I’m not trying to burn a hole in the piston, I tried the motion pro tool and I can’t get a bite on the bit so to adjust the fuel screw I have to take the carb off so an idea on where your at compared to myself I’m praying helps, as much as I want to do an idle drop I can not and as you said there’s no going back to stock right? Lol
You could be at a lower elevation then me and who knows that bbr pipe could be flowing a little better then my pro circuit. You might need to fatten up the jetting a smudge. That stinks that tool doesn't work for you. Make sure you come from the header side when using it. At first I didn't think mine was going to fit. But at the right angle she slipped in. Not sure what my screw is at currently. I think I'm going to slap a big bore in it soon so I might be rejetting myself. Make sure you are also staying consistent with your fuel type. I recommend at least 91-93 octane.
@@FullSpeedImpulse I am in Pennsylvania, I went to 1&3/4 turns out today and raised the needle to the last clip and now it’s running better, maybe a hair fat now but not terrible, definitely close! What are you thinking of going to? Still planning to run 132 so you can keep the 22 or saying screw it again just going to the 143?
Hahaha Screw it! 143 buddy . Actually I can't even find the 130ish kits anymore. I might wait till this winter to do it. Ooo and fyi in my last klx video I did. We upgraded the tires to a bigger size front and rear and it's freakin awesome.

See I would almost say there is a issue with your float. But I would think you would see fuel draining out or in your oil
Did u have to run a different intake and boot or no 🤔
I used the standard intake boot that bbr gives you for their uflow. This was one of my concerns at the time. But fit really nicely.

Did you rejet after your exhaust

Unfortunately it’s out of stock. If you find it somewhere else make sure the carb looks the same.
