4:37 What do those lane markings mean, the smaller line next to a longer one on each side?
Short lines means it's good spot to change lane, long lines means on can change lane, but be more carefull. Here one is allowed to change lanes into both sides, but it's more preferred to change lane to the left, rather than change lane to the right
Those line tells you that you can go form left to right, but not from right to left.

when he moves it towards him self he is engaging the retarder brake,up and down its shifting gears manually, so its a combinated gearshift and retarder breake handle.
