I've preorder this camera some weeks ago ant it finally arrived two days ago. It's a really nice camera ! I have the pack with the Lumix 12-60mm lens and it's good enough to start. Comparing to my actual Fz1000, this camera is more compact, lighter, produce more natural colors, the lens is more sharper and especially in the corners. So how to say that i'm really happy with it ! I think i will buy the Olympus 25mm f1,8 to try a fixed focal, and to have a faster lens for indoor.
Otherwise, it's a nice review, I would add that there is a flash built into the GX9 (compared to the GX8), and for those who want to make video they can use an external audio recorder

Wht settings are the video recorded in, i do think tht mft can shoot sharper images (no aa filter) when compared to apsc , which is very useful for street given the same aperture

Hi, Unfortunately, you would need to use an adapter to be able to use this lens with this camera. By the time you have purchased the adapter, you would be better off going for something like the Lumix G 25mm which on this camera will give you a 50mm focal length (full frame equivalent):
      www.parkcameras.com/p/P241098C/micro-four-thirds-lenses/panasonic/lumix-g-25mm-f17-asph-lens-black
      I hope that helps :-)

Hi, I really enjoyed using the Lumix G 42.5mm f/1.7:
      www.parkcameras.com/p/P241099F/micro-four-thirds-lenses/panasonic/lumix-g-425mm-f17-asph-black-m43
If you were looking for a zoom lens, you could try the 35 - 100mm f/4 - 5.6:
      www.parkcameras.com/p/P241555K/micro-four-thirds-lenses/panasonic/lumix-g-vario-35-100mm-lens-f4-56-asph-mega-ois-black
There is also the 45 - 200mm f/4 - 5.6 Tele Lens if you were looking for more range:

If you are looking for a shorter focal length, there is the Lumix G 20mm f/1.7:
      www.parkcameras.com/p/P241097K/micro-four-thirds-lenses/panasonic/lumix-g-20mm-f17-ii-asph-black-m43-lens
      I hope that helps :-)

+1 for 20mm F1.7 Pancake Lens. Super Pocketable!

@@mikemazzotta3263 What lens you purchase is personal and depends on the use case. I purchased the kit P12-60mm lens. It is small and give an unbeatable 24-120m FF equivalent range. For street I use the PL15 and P25mm lens. The P 25 is also known as the plastic fantastic. It is made out of plastic so it is light. The lens is f1.7. I purchased it last month from the local camera store for $70.
A great thing about the M43 mount is you can use either Panasonic or Olympus lenses. In addition there are several 3rd party manufacturers that make very nice lens for M43. If you wish to adept other lenses it is very easy to do.

Its a modern camera now with bluetooth, it doesnt need a mic input, its designed to be used with a bluetooth shotgun microphone, or so I heard from a review ;-)

Vici Martynov there’s Bluetooth mic? How’s the sync? No lag? GX9 can connect a Bluetooth mic?

Hi, there are some photos scattered through the video. It is able to take very nice video, it just lacks the basic audio options you would want if you wanted to use it as a video camera. Hope that helps :-)

Panasonic numbering system is a pain in the rear. This camera is really a replacement for the G80/85...
