Hey Clint! I keep wondering if there was at one point in time that there was a third group of lepidosauromorphs that exhibit traits from both Rhynchocephalians and Squamates that could have possibly survived into modern times on an alternate earth, do you agree with that possibility?
Not only is this one of your best videos my friend, but one of the best videos on TH-cam I’ve ever come across! A true achievement you and the whole team should be exceedingly proud of! Stinkin’ rad indeed! Also, if anyone reading this comment hasn’t subscribed to the Patreon, what are you doing, it’s awesome! Amazing video my friend!
I just became a stinking’ rad fan on Patreon because your comment reminded me I wanted to be for a while now. What was I doing…. Thank you for the reminder ;)

Clint please for the love of god NEVER stop making videos. You are one of the most enthusiastic and capturing people I have ever seen. Thank you for your truthfully wonderful content man
We rented a house in Southern Florida for vacation. Very clean house but after dark it sounded like a cage full of birds or something. I turned on the light and there were geckos everywhere in that house
I think this will require a few watches. I honestly can't believe how much work you've put into this. Thank you. I'm sure students and reptile peeps will be watching this for decades to come.
Made it through the entire "movie" while drinking my coffee this morning. I had an extra hour due to day light savings happening this weekend, and this was a wonderful way to spend my "extra" hour today. Thanks so much! I really enjoyed learning more things about this amazing hobby we have. I CANNOT wait for the Boa documentary later this month!!!!!!
Alas, it is finally here, and I gotta say this is beyond incredible! Thank you Clint, Jason, Will, and anyone else who put this wonderful source of knowledge together. Happy Lepidosaur 2024!!
Agree, Mighty Mouse just took his last defeat=) Who didn't understand what my comment is about, watch DJ's (Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson's) recent retirement speech he gave at a One CHampionship's event, you'll get what I'm saying =)
Mr Clint, you hurt my brain. I am definitely going to watch this 5 or 6 thousand more times because that was a lot of information for my smooth brain to digest. This video/movie was excellent and you could see the amount of time and energy that was put into researching and writing just by how it kept me engaged from start to finish. But most importantly you could see the love and dedication the team at Clint's Reptiles have for educating the public and showing folks that even the furless critters in our world are not always something to fear.
Clint you and your team are absolute treasures here on TH-cam! Your content makes me feel like im sitting down to my favourite classes in school without the horrid aura of being in school. And now with this meaty documentary you are officially the LIZARD KING OF TH-cam 👑
That was awesome! I had seen all of the videos that this is made up of, but seeing them all organized in this way makes it so much easier to follow! Thanks a lot!
Finally went through all of it, this is incredible. I'm still dizzy from all the stuff I learned. Thank you Clint, you teased this a lot in the past and I can see why, it's monumental!
Oh my God! The Clint's Reptiles Feature-length Lepidosaur video is finally here! I've been having this teased at me since I discovered your channel earlier this year. Congratulations on reaching this - and all the other milestones. Yes, I'm into that sort of thing. For sure. :-)
This video is incredibly informative, so much so that I found it easier to watch in sessions over a couple days to give my full focus. To me this is a good sign because I never got bored with it.
Clint, there is a fellow TH-camr named Jeff Williams. He has a 'caliche bed' gold mine that sits atop an aquifer zone. He has found long red wormlike creatures that exist in this wet zone. I am not sure the species has been described yet, maybe I missed his announcement of any study. Would you consider a collab with him toward expanding our awareness. The environment has been sealed from the surface for literally millions of years by cemented sediment beds, so there is a chance for a distinct species at the bottom of his sump hole.
I absolutely love learning from you. You're like one of those rare, fun professors in college where it's gleefully obvious that you love the subject. Except I'm no longer in college so there's no stress over testing well! 😆 Thank you so much for making these videos!
It has arrived. I have waited for this ever since I arose from my 9 hour long slumber in my cushioned rack and opened my computer and watched one of your videos(i forgot which one) where you mentioned this video while it was still in it's fetal form. I shall now allot 2 hours of my time to watch this. Or I shall allot that time to the time i am currently experiencing. I am watching it. I will take my 2 hours now. Thank you very much
Clint I would have done anything for this channel as a child. I love it as an adult, but my retention is not what it was. Please make sure to archive everything. When I have kids, if they are anything like me, I want them to have your videos. Thank you for the great content
I have taken a lot of A&P in Biology and in Zoology. I’ve worked with thousands of animals and still do on a daily basis, currently working for a world class fish breeding facility (working with extinct in the wild Potosí Pupfish and many other endangered species. Including a fully aquatic caecilian) I’ve memorized thousands of Latin names and still do daily. Memorize locales and everything life related.. Just when I think I know something I realize I know nothing. Remember to stay humble and always keep learning! Thanks so much Clint and team for teaching us all about Lepidosauria! Ps. Love the comment about “as for me and my house”….. aka Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Family.. etc. icing 🧁 on this Cake Video! Thanks for the early birthday present!
Wooooo! I'm so ready to spend the next two hours getting my mind expanded! Thank you for giving us this invaluable content. I hope everyone at Clint's Reptile Room has a wonderful holiday season! Y'all are the best 🩵💚🩵💚
I just found your channel to research snakes and monitors to fufill a dream I’ve had for a long time. I’ve been nurturing a passion for reptiles for some time now, thank you for feeding it. I’ve been looking forward to this documentary. Cheers.
Magnificent documentary! I thonk a great idea for a future video would be on discussing the methods by which we determine a clade's composition. For example, how we know death adder is an elapid despite its superficial similarities to viperids. How we can reliably classify taxa when convergent evolution muddies the water! We'd be into that kinda thing!
What a wonderfully fun and educational documentary Clint! Such a monumental achievement for such a wonderful group of humans. Thank you for all that you and you're team do to help educate folks. Happy lepidosaur 2024!!!
Gus Gus was the FIRST tame, funny, cute and huggable reptile i had EVER seen. It was the very first video of Clint's Reptiles i had ever seen. From that one vlog...i became a black belt Reptile lover. I went from here to NERD and found Chandler and Tyler, Brian and on infinitum. 4 years later I'm still watching ALL of their most recent videos..like today. Thank-you Clint for showing me a world i no idea existed!❤
So excited about the Boa video! My first snake was a Kenyan Sand boa and I'm looking forward to watching this! Maybe I'll hang out with him while I watch it lol ❤
Please do a video on the sale fin dragons! Also a suggestion for you on really long videos like this. Please put chapters in so the video is easy to navigate through. I had to watch this over the course of several days.
I'm glad to see people already commented this many times with the same thing that I'm feeling: this is one of the best videos I've ever seen on TH-cam!

33:30 is the name a reference to the Faraway paladin ? probably not
Idea for a YTshort: Every time a lizard evolved into snake shape
I‘m not even at 1/4 of the video and it already happened two times xD
Hey Clint! I keep wondering if there was at one point in time that there was a third group of lepidosauromorphs that exhibit traits from both Rhynchocephalians and Squamates that could have possibly survived into modern times on an alternate earth, do you agree with that possibility?
"I will never run out of animals to show you, I will run out of life" amazing quote
New goals in life.
At 13:00 as you said "most geckos possess the ability to vocalise" the gecko standing on the ceiling above my head started to chirp.

Clint and his team make two years of work seem super easy, barely an inconvenience❤
Pitch Meeting reference.... that's culture right there 👌👌
This was the absolute best thing to wake up to on a chilly Saturday morning
Clint please for the love of god NEVER stop making videos. You are one of the most enthusiastic and capturing people I have ever seen. Thank you for your truthfully wonderful content man
You absolute mad man….You really uploaded something like this? I’ll be watching this for days. Cool!
The video NEEDS to be added to The Amphibian Foundation's Master Herpetology curriculum asap. Very well done!
We rented a house in Southern Florida for vacation. Very clean house but after dark it sounded like a cage full of birds or something. I turned on the light and there were geckos everywhere in that house
You could be sure they weren't Tokays or you would have heard more than rustling.
Did you catch one?

Idk how to explain that this would make me happy
It’s like surprise cats. Like. Hell yeah dude
You mean geico
Playing this in the background while I grind homework and try to ignore ongoing events. Thank you Clint!
This video is one of the best documentries I have seen, actual information and facts about the animals while still keeping it interesting.
I think this will require a few watches. I honestly can't believe how much work you've put into this. Thank you. I'm sure students and reptile peeps will be watching this for decades to come.
Turning into snakes is the carcinization of the Squamata.
Ophidiization

This is one of the best additions to the library of knowledge in years

Fun fact: the Chinese name for geckos is bihu, which means “wall tiger” presumably for their catlike hunting style
i get so excited when I hear clint call things the hagfish of
