You’re vids are always so informative! And 6th Sense makes some of the best baits on the market! Absolutely love my 6th Sense tailored 6pack! Keep up the great work brotha 👊🏽
Looks like there is a bit of inconsistency in the weights as the red lure sinks at the pause and the shad color rises after the pause. It seems that has always been the problem with suspending baits is trying to get two baits that run the same. Really like the size and the sound, that is going to attract some attention for sure.
Jerome I saw that too, if you want to get your mind blown talk to Brian Branam About what beach to spend and what water conditions. He can tell you based upon water temp and other factors which Bates suspend perfectly at certain depths. he started explaining it to me one day and we ran out of beers.....still can’t remember all the details!
Don’t really see a need for the suspending trap. Besides if the fish are suspend but that’s about it. But if the fish are suspended I’ll just throw a vision 110.
That came off “jerky” (no pun intended). But I’ve done this for many, many years. I’ve got a fair resume, 4 AOY’s, many wins, 2 on Rayburn in past 8 months and another on Toledo over that same time period. I have fished by or around many guys trying to catch fish in December-March, very, very, and to reiterate, VERY seldom do jerkbaits outperform rattle baits, you can cover 3-4-5 times the water and they just, usually, bite that rattle bait better...so apologies if I sounded like a 🍆. I started my channel to share what I’ve learned, and that’s a lesson I’ve learned many times over.
Nice video!! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
How deep will this thing run??
3-4 feet

Good Video. Fish On.
That Quake 80 definitely doesn't suspend. It floats up...
It depends on the water temperature weather it floats or suspends. Read the description on the back of ur baits
Definitely going to try n get some of those traps. Really like those soft plastics as well. Thanks and really enjoy all your videos!!!!
Suspending bait looks good, I'd even like one without a rattle.

Ken, you have got to read what you typed, or better yet what your phone spell check typed, lol .....
Easy to tweak by adding different split rings or different hook to get it just right. Pretty much have to tweak it depending on water temp.
Better for your money than megabass 110?
I’ll throw both, Mega suspends in colder water than Provoke, and vice versa
@@KenSmithFishing that's what I hear ain't trying to spend $25 to lose to a pike lmaooo imo once it gets going it's all on how the angler works it ...
Got to have the trap 🔥 🔥 thanks for the 2 part videos, neat stuff always coming with 6th sense 💪🏻
Doesn’t look like it suspends very good
*Nice video review. Especially the suspending trap.*
What a bad ass rattle trap. Just bought four on eBay. Biting out the bullet for them to get here

Don’t really see a need for the suspending trap.
