Presumably D class cadavers would often be used, but what if the D class were unknowingly effected by another scp they were used to test? You might end up with an unintentional cross-test. Really even if you raid a morgue there's a chance they were changed by a wild scp.

The adjective your looking for is Cold. The ethics committee wouldn't exist at all if there wasn't any kind of morale fibre at all. Some canons of the scp universe are so messed up that the previous statement and the insane shit done for containment purposes aren't in conflict.
That’s a shame, it would have been cool seeing what happens if they gave it dead tissue from SCP 682, it wouldn’t have the hatred of 682, and they might be able to use it against the 682 or even 3 of them. It is as smart as a fly so it will need some backup against the intelligent 682. (I know 682 is somewhat unkillable, but the flesh that is ripped off will just become decomposing flesh, so it’s possible to test this out.)

Uhh why keep the sample in containment sustained with cadavers? That seems like extra work, risk and psychological stress for the staff for no reason. Let them clone chickens, rats or anything else small enough to punt.

Generally speaking D class get taken out after a month and they'd likely keep them separate unless they explicitly wanted to see two SCPs reacting.

Yeah I think best case scenario is the Flesh makes the maggots sick, more likely it creates duplicate 682 instances, and makes everything worse
