I see your Ninja walk and I'll raise you with my chicken stutter/shuffle. lol Just made up my mind on this. However do the quick release kit come as a "buy alone" or just part of the bundle you bought? Thanks for this bro.
You’re very quickly becoming one of my favorite TH-camer‘s! Great job James! my wee bill just arrived yesterday and I used it for the first time today, it’s pretty awesome!
Mate- this is hands down the BEST gear review I've ever seen. You should have your own TV show man. You had me laughing like a "geezah" and I learned a shit ton about this gimbal. Decided to pick one up thanks to you. Also, don't take this the wrong way mate, but I'd say you're the best lookin bloke doing these vids on the internet, so keep it up man. Happy Days!
Here's a fella who knows how to use a gimbal! I hate seeing people using gimbals that don't understand that it takes technique and skill to make awesome stable shots
the locking axis is by far the best thing, makes re-balancing 10x easier... Also, didn't notice your arm flapping around until you mentioned it, now its all I see hahaha
The first video I've seen from you, but the b-roll part in the beginning instantly hooked me! Also I just love that accent Binged a lot of your stuff and now I'm a proud subscriber
I literally saw the first 64 seconds of your footage and bought the gimbal. Thank you for having a cool style over and above the other reviews on this product.
Watched that intro 5 times now. It's really tight; not just the shots but the whole thing - music, sfx, cutting. Great job that just as up to your overall fun presentation.
I was actually trying to figure out a solution to mounting the tripod back and forth from underslung mode and I'm so glad they have a solution for that! Sick video James!!!
How good are the quick release plates?! They've blown my mind. I think they've accidentally made something amazing. I'm contemplating using them instead of standard quick release plates. So many potential applications!
Great Intro! Just got one of these to use as a super lightweight cinematic setup. I’ll do a video on my channel when I’ve had a chance to fully test it. It’s definitely not perfect but you are compromising for size and it’s tiny! I’ll be using it with a Sony A7iii and vintage Canon FD lenses.
Some of the shots are amazing, totally inspiring for when I pop down to London next year for a few days to do some travel filming and photography. Can't wait to get used to using this gimbal more.
What is follow focus. It looked like it had a gear and motor hooked up to camera lens. How's that work? Can I hook this up to a standard tripod just to get smooth pans?
I've had mine for a few weeks now and loving it. Wish there was more clearance on the handle in sling mode, as my big hands get in the way of the rear motor
Hold on James. Your first video of this thing was what made me hold off getting a ronin s and now having played about with this for the last week it’s a beast. Seriously happy days
Cool video I like it. I just have one question. When you have a primelens and don't want to use the follow focus can you still focus with the tactile wheel on the side by just connecting the camera with a cable or something to the gimbal ?
I was actually sold on it before I got to your review. Thanks for confirming my brilliance in a most entertaining way. You are the sugar that makes the medicine go down.
In the outro the Bus on the opposite side.. Very nice but you did not record these scene on the same day issn it? Because I couldn't see the cars crossing the scene.
Got myself a hillbill... ehm.. weebill and trying out the timelapse functionality in the Zhiyun-app. Works very nicely, except... my A6500 does not seems to write any images to my SD-card. Ever experienced this on your Sony?
Dude... first time catching you on TH-cam. You Rock!!! Great personality and delivery! And excellent review. Of course, now (March, 2019) the Crane 3 is out (soon)... and it's a bit heavier, but also an awesome choice.
Due to the design, it's easy lead to misoperation on the control botton while holding the gimbal in the upright position. Do you ever meet the same issue.
After using it for a few weeks I had problems with the quick release plate. After using it for a few minutes it would get loose and I would have to rebalance it again. This happened multiple times.
Haha, well you got yourself a new subscriber here. I cannot believe I haven't heard of you before. You are a riot and THANK YOU for bringing proper English to the table. Oh, and the review is great, snappy and to the point. I own the Ronin-S but am thinking about the Weebill for the size and weight since I have small rigs too. I think you just sold one. Epic footage in the intro by the way.
My guy... I don't know if it's the accent, your energy, or the combination of the 2, but this video had me hyped and ready to get and do some s**t. I spend most of my free time watching videography and photograhy videos. This is by far one of the best videos I've seen in a while. You've got a subscriber in me now, buddy.
Hi guys! I´am using the weebill gimbal with an a6300 and preferable the 30mm 1.4 sigma lens. If you shoot with a gimbal do you also use the warp stabilizer in post? The gimbal does a good job, but without a steadyshot compatible lens i need to use the warp stabilzer as well to make the shots look super smooth. How are you guys doing that?
Will this strong enough for A7iii & 90mm 2.8 Macro? & a7iii + Tamron 28-75mm 2.8? Theres a Webill Lab for sale second hand and i dunno wether to grab it.
Ayee the Squadren. Hope you enjoyed this review! What do you lot think of the Gimbal? How bad is my Ninja walk at the end haha!
The gimbal looks very light, and you look like the youtube ninja.
That’s why nobody want to buy my crane V2 ahah !
Your pure primal ape gimbal walk
I see your Ninja walk and I'll raise you with my chicken stutter/shuffle. lol
Just made up my mind on this. However do the quick release kit come as a "buy alone" or just part of the bundle you bought? Thanks for this bro.
Your walk was legendary 😂😂 I need those adapters for my Ronin S tho, they’re sick 😳😳
The intro part was actually INSANE!!!
Thanks Tadas!!!
Incredible b roll sequence 👌🏻
do you know what music is?
I'm convinced this guy could sell ice to an Eskimo...
agreed
Agreed. Also, where is his TShirt shop? I wanna buy one with his face on it that says "Happy Days!"

always buy a glidecam first haha
Thank you dude!! :D Yeah its been lots of practice haha!
26x “mate”, amazing!!
Alessio Guidon 😂😂😂 shit mate
How does the grip and button placement feel? It looks like the buttons are right where my hand would be. Any accidental presses?
the locking axis is by far the best thing, makes re-balancing 10x easier... Also, didn't notice your arm flapping around until you mentioned it, now its all I see hahaha
Yeah its sooo sick man. Hope youre getting on alright with yours (y)
they say Peter Mckinnon is king of b roll
but deep inside we know James Matthews is the king of b roll
FACTS!!! I cant even lie. James is a beast with Slow mo Roll B-Roll Effect. Its amazing.
If you know how the industry run, then you should know Peter Mckinnon is completely bullshit LOL
I think they both should collaborate ...
@@11tb60 theyre complete amateur compared to Philip Bloom.
@@sleepingbanshee_ Bloom is also twice James's age...
You always make wanna shoot wide lol. I love the idea of this gimbal, it has size and the locking feature going for it!
YCImaging Yeah man. That locking feature is a game changer, but so simple I don’t know why it hasn’t been done before!
Holy bloody hell mate! That intro was amazing. Loved the color grade too. Keep up the awesome work!
I can't stop watching this intro with vortex mode shots. It's gorgeous!
The first video I've seen from you, but the b-roll part in the beginning instantly hooked me! Also I just love that accent
Binged a lot of your stuff and now I'm a proud subscriber
Its always a good day when I get to watch the legend show off some new broll. And the map background is baaaack!
Hahahaha Thanks Atola!! We will make some B rolls again sooooooon!
The opening intro encapsulates every reason why i want a gimbal OH MY GOD YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Oh man those sick shots :D Absolute fire. Cannot wait to receive my box to go test outside.
Mate! I watched this video like 2 years ago and trying to find your channel but was unsuccessful until it popped up again and I finally subscribed 😂.
Thank you very much for your review. I am actually buying this gimbal after watching some reviews, but yours was definitely the best!!
Absolutely love your personality and the videos I’ve watched so far. So different than all the regurgitated stuff on here. Love it!
You literally just sold me this gimbal
How good are the quick release plates?! They've blown my mind. I think they've accidentally made something amazing. I'm contemplating using them instead of standard quick release plates. So many potential applications!
QR plates are the best thing ever. I want them everywhere!
@@Jamesmatthews where do I get those for my webill lab?

Yeaaah James! Show us how Weebill is really used. Sick b-rolls dude. Makes me want to go out and film more with my Weebill. Great video man!
man, the cinematography here is another level. WOAH.
This guy is so entertaining, I’ve been saying the weebil will be great for forever
The most British review ever, loved it! ...might have to get one of these...
Yes mate! If I had the money I would get one now. Keep the numpty hand going, don't let it cramp your style.
What is follow focus. It looked like it had a gear and motor hooked up to camera lens. How's that work? Can I hook this up to a standard tripod just to get smooth pans?
Mate you are the best youtuber...how can anyone get sick of your accent! from an aussie lad
You were so much fun to watch, your intro footage and the music was bomb!!
probably the best review I have ever seen man! Cheers mate :)
The Ally Law of gimbal reviewers, love it and keep smashing it bro.
First video i've seen on this channel...you've gained a sub. funny yet informative video
Same!
WHAT AN INTRO MATE!!!EPIC SHOTS!!!!
Immediately subscribed cuz you're an absolute character. Great review and that track in the intro!!!
Is the monitor transmission is laggy?
This is not review. Its piece of art! What i have seen at the intro footage was amazing!
Ayee, man! I just got the Weebill Lab because of you! It's an awesome gimball and I'm feeling pretty good with it mate, thanks bruh
Great shots James on the intro. Ordered mine ! Excellent video mate :-)
Those are some cheeky shots mate! (I think that's a compliment in British tongue, yeah?)
Momentum Productions An absolute compliment thank you Momantis 😏

what about a7III with 16-35 f4 does it balance well
What is the LUT you are using?
Is it worth getting this or the cheaper Crane Plus now that its price has gone down?
Hold on James. Your first video of this thing was what made me hold off getting a ronin s and now having played about with this for the last week it’s a beast. Seriously happy days
whats better dji Ronin s or Weebill
That edit at the beginning 😩👌. Big fan of your style
great review mate. them quick release plates are banger.

Great video mate, the arm part near the end cracked me up! bro some of my stances when filming is hilarious! hahaha!
Great video! Those quick release pieces should be a standard addition to that gimbal.
The cinematic intro was bloody insane!
What is camera bag you showed at 1:40?
Awesome video man! Great review and epic b-roll with this little beast of a gimbal!
Bloody lovely bit of b roll James.
Honest review. Respect. And that comment about your gimbal walk and arm dangling kiiiilled me 😂
Your accent sold me man! I wish you ran vertex mode in 90 degrees along the subway while it was leaving. Dope shot!
Due to the design, it's easy lead to misoperation on the control botton while holding the gimbal in the upright position. Do you ever meet the same issue.
who else loves this dudes vernacular!? groovy shots in the intro for sure
After using it for a few weeks I had problems with the quick release plate. After using it for a few minutes it would get loose and I would have to rebalance it again. This happened multiple times.
Would a Sony a6500 with Sigma 16, 30, 56 and a Sony 85mm set up do well with this? Thinking of selling my V2 for the Weebill.
This review was awesomely made and hilarious to boot! You earned a new subscriber!
how does it work with a external mic in the hot shoe? Looks like might be an issue with the sling mode?

James, what lens did you use on the test with the Weebill? did you try say a 24-105mm F4 ? Thanks mate!
YOUR WORK IS AMAZING! I AM VERY AMAZED
what camera bag do you use now? I need one to hold that weebil
Where can I get the quick release plates?

Looks like a sweet little gimbal might need to pick this up. Your shots are absolutely noughty as always!
Thanks man! Double Naughty
How well does it hold up using the Zeiss 16-35mm f4 with the a7III?
I have issues with the middle motor ! Its shaking sometime with a sony a7ii + 35mm f2.8 zeiss ! What can be the probleme ?
Will this gimbal support a Sony A7rIII, with the Sony 24 1.4? Or the Batis 18mm? Or should I get the Crane 2 or Crane 3?
Nice video thanks... one question, in the Sony how do you start stop filming? In the camera or in a dedicated button in the gimbal?
The techno music during the B-roll is dope men ! By the way, the test is really interesting, thank you bro !

can i use a canon 5D mk4 + ef 50mm 1.2 with the weebill lab?
hello mate, awesome reviews. 0:22 - 1:04 were you using follow focus during these shots or it was on auto?
Is the phone holder strong and big enough to hold an iPad mini?
