    The first testimony I ever watched from anyone was Noel’s. I was searching for encouragement at the time as I am going through my own trial of infidelity where my husband Edgar left me for someone else almost a year ago now. He pursued divorce and even though our divorce is finalized I am trusting wholeheartedly in the Lord with my future. It was through this trial that the Lord met me in my deepest darkest pit and I surrendered my life to Jesus. What the enemy meant for evil, God turned it for good. By His amazing grace, I am saved! I believe in His resurrection and healing power if it His will to save Edgar and restore our marriage. I pray daily for His salvation, for Him to come back to the Lord. What a blessing to see this testimony today. Thank you Delafe

    I am currently going through this but I have a joy in my soul. That joy is Jesus Christ! Not even my husband understands it. He can do whatever he wants I have the real , true and LIVING JESUS. HE IS REAL! I suffered through loneliness, I was abandoned, blame, neglected, loss of my mum……… but the intensity of it all sent me into a real deep relationship with Jesus Christ.

      Nope he likely wouldn't have. Men don't have that type of fight in them to save their marriage. It is only when we leave that that type of "fight" kicks in and it's usually not in a healthy way. I think a lot of women are so desperate to have a "restoration" testimony that they don't realize they are the only ones really fighting for it. 🤷‍♀️

It causes so much pain and devastates a marriage no matter how they try to put it under cover. The root of the adultery needs to be found and true total repentance and deliverance needs to happen for healing.

    I just feel so icky about all of this. Usually these testimonies are about people coming out of darkness into the light. This one, and Noel story weren’t really that. His testimony was just a repeated pattern of brokenness and rebellion towards the Lord over many years of walking with Him, and even being a minister. I’m thankful that their relationship ended up working out, but if you listen to Noel‘s testimony, he almost paints a picture of really just never having been faithful to his wife for most of their relationship. And similarly, never really truly being faithful to the Lord for most of his relationship with the Lord. Although he was doing ministry, there were still things that he was doing behind the scenes that were inconsistent with his walk with the Lord. Something about them being featured here feels less like testifying about the goodness of Christ, and more like reveling in unrepentant sin, for a long time before it finally caught up to them. This whole thing is just really sad, and I’m super thankful that the Lord got it straightened out. But, I wish neither one of them had walked through this. I wish Christ had been enough much sooner than He was. And I know I’m in the minority here, but I just feel really uncomfortable about this.

    I have been standing faithfully for my marriage for 7 years. The Lord has told me this situation the way that it is will be ending and I can’t wait to feel detached and be able to share the way she described. I love the Lord and know that he alone has given me the strength to do what he’s called me to do. I had given my life to Jesus before my husband left me and our kids, but I know I really dove into the word and His presence out of desperation. It hit me what she said she was asked for because I can say I now know I love Him for Him and not for what he can do for me. I will follow Him wherever he takes me. Please pray for Him to be glorified in this situation and all things blocking blessings either in me, my husband, the spirit realm, or anywhere else be removed and that the Lord would restore the years that the locusts have eaten. In Jesus’ mighty and glorious name.

    I’m going to be completely honest-God forgive me-but as a young, single, unmarried woman, I struggle to find these types of testimonies encouraging. Many times, when I see women speaking about the experiences, I still sense some despair as they speak about what happened. I understand that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God, but it can be frustrating to hear these stories repeatedly. I don’t want to judge how someone chooses to handle their marriage or what they believe God is calling them to do, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that infidelity seems almost normalized among men, even within Christian circles. It often feels like some men take advantage of their wives’ faith, knowing they might endure such behavior.
    I’m not saying this is the case with every couple, but it’s something I’ve observed. I’ve also noticed that some women, due to internalized misogyny, are quick to blame external forces, like the “other woman,” even if she didn’t know the man was married. They might say she was a “strange woman” sent by the enemy to attack the marriage. But when society-and sometimes the church-teaches that it’s normal for men to fall into this type of sin, it fosters a defeatist mindset. Men may give in to temptation, knowing their wives, like many other Christian women, have been conditioned to endure it.
    This narrative is even perpetuated in popular Christian culture, where movies often portray a mistreated wife-whether through abuse or infidelity-who is expected to pray in her “war room” and fast until her husband miraculously changes by the end of the film. I see this trope so often in Christian media and teachings that it’s hard not to notice how one-sided it is. It seems women are expected to endure and tolerate unreasonable behavior from their husbands.
    I know it makes many people uncomfortable to discuss gender issues, but I can’t help but see how worldly patriarchal ideas have infiltrated the Christian church. Women seem to be conditioned to expect and accept behavior that should not be tolerated.
    But i digress....

    • @marlyb176
      @marlyb176 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      This is also why people seem supportive of certain testimonies, but when I’ve seen the rare instances where the wife has committed infidelity and the husband chooses to stay with her, the reactions are noticeably different. These comments often come from people who profess to be Christians, which reveals a troubling double standard within the Christian community. It seems more acceptable for a wife to stay with her unfaithful husband, but the same grace isn’t extended when the roles are reversed.
      I recall seeing something on Twitter a few years ago that disturbed me deeply. It was men making fun of Christian women, saying things like, “You should date a Christian woman because if you cheat on her, she’ll blame the devil and pray for you.” Many men were laughing and joking about how naïve Christian women can be. It made me really sad, but now, knowing what I do about spiritual abuse and manipulation, I understand that, unfortunately, some Christian women can be naïve. They may not realize that they are falling into the hands of Christian narcissists who exploit their faith.

      Um
      These issues can be taken to God, because ultimately, if she can find freedom and he can find freedom in Christ after an event like this happened then anyone can.and I believe that that's the main thing that many will capture from this testimony and many others
      This is mainly for folks who want to work on their marriage
      And for folks who are willing to lay it down to the Lord, in full reliance.
      The Lord will lead in all situations, that's what I captured from the testimony
      But from the other side, maybe they'll have the other side but we gotta understand, the devil is prowling, roaring like lion seeking whom to devour. And his goal is to break homes. If we know that the devil is a home breaker, we, in the Spirit of the Lord, will act differently than how the world would act

    • @marlyb176
      @marlyb176 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I totally understand what you’re saying. But it’s also not uncommon for women in the secular world to remain in marriages where similar things happen. So, I think the issue goes beyond how the world responds to these situations. There’s a deeper problem at hand, and part of it has to do with how women view themselves and find their worth in their proximity to a man and idolize men/ marriage. Christian women are not immune to this-like many women in the world, they can also struggle with low self-esteem.
      Just as some women in the world make excuses for their abusers due to trauma bonds, I believe some Christian women may use God as a way to excuse the behavior of their abusers. This isn’t the case for everyone, of course, but I’m starting to see things from a more nuanced perspective, rather than over-spiritualizing people’s decisions when they might be rooted in something else.
      For example, some people hide their childhood traumas behind hyper-spirituality, without really dealing with them. When these unresolved issues come to the surface in marriage, they might influence the decisions being made. The person may believe they are acting on God’s guidance, but in reality, their choices might be driven by those unaddressed traumas. Like I said, if someone truly believes that God is leading them to work on their relationship, I won’t judge. I don’t believe this is applicable per se to the couple in this testimony ,But this is a common observation I’ve made.

    I have seen your videos for a long time and i love them, but i think it is important to not make it seem like we need to go back to these abusive partners or cheating spouses if they don’t change. I understand god forgives and he retores and i have faith in that, BUT if a person does not welcome jesus in, and is not changing i think it is important too while forgive that person is important to not make it seem like jesus says too take that person back because that’s wrong.

    • @marlyb176
      @marlyb176 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree. I also feel that many people, especially Christian women, struggle to recognize when they are being spiritually abused. They might see testimonies of others and think that these experiences will automatically apply to their own circumstances. However, some may be married to manipulative individuals who weaponize their faith against them. This is something I’ve seen happen quite often.
      As Christians, we should be accountable for certain traits within ourselves that may not align with living like Christ. When challenges arise in marriages, I’ve noticed people are often quick to blame Satan, but many of these issues stem from traits that both individuals had before marriage-traits that were always going to cause problems in the relationship.
      In cases where there seems to be genuine repentance, it’s important to acknowledge it. But I’ve observed that some Christian women, for example, might be married to men who were womanizers even before marriage. Each time the man is caught in adultery, he knows he can weaponize his wife’s faith against her, showing no real intent to change. The wife may be in denial, continually blaming outside forces, such as “strange women,” when in reality, the problem lies with the man she is married to.

      Jesus mentions that that's a grounds for divorce
      But it's up to the individuals to choose whether to stay together to split.
      But I'm sure others testimonies will favor what you're looking for. Theirs isn't the one that has that kind of outcome

      @@ceasarjuarez1593 yes that’s a clear example . Prophet Hosea and Gomer . The Christian community seems to relish on testimonies where it’s the husband that has strayed .

    You don’t know how God used both of their story for me for deliverance and healing. I just thank God that He used this for me to search my heart bcuz it’s been a crazy ride, crazy wars like she said… and in times of rest, I was a foggy blurry road to navigate in my heart and yet, God has never left or forget about me. Thank you for this. Really. I pray for yall walk as you stay obedience to the Lord and you go everywhere to share your testimonies for the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ before His second coming. I felt every word you have shared in this video sister in Christ. I want what you had. And honestly about a month ago was when I heard your husband’s testimony and I was wondering what about the wife’s perspective. So I know that this is God’s timing for us to witness. Thank you both for being vulnerable and I do believe I’m in a somewhat similar talk with God some different situations and struggles but the same spirit of bitterness and frustrations. Thank you again.

    I’ve been with my boyfriend for eight years now and I have struggled with forgiveness with him because I had spiritual and flesh wounds that I had not forgiven, as to why I couldn’t forgive him or myself. God put this on my timeline and I now see how to do it.

    Yes. I heard this person on this phone say to me, it will never happen. I knew that it wasn't that person but the demonic spirit/spirits in them. I just kept on talking to the person and ignore the spirit/spirits. Because I know that the spirit just wanted negative attention and to intimidate at the moment.
