    I have the wolf rugby 2
    150cc I’m going to upgrade the air filter and delete the stock but the stock air box has 3 hoses hooked to it can I remove them and just plug them or will that not work

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello better do not plug the hoses because you can build to much pressure in the motor for sure one hose coms from the head valve cover and you can place a small filter at the end and the second should be from the recirculating exhaust fumes and that can go to open air and the last one should be the large hose for the filter

    Cool. I installed a BBK o my 50cc, vut the speed won't go to much above 20mph.
    Put new carb and filter, new spark plug, new CDI.
    It was bogging a lot, it was the bore kit that needed more torque - less compression.
    But with all that it still not going above 20.
    I'm gonna change the exhaust now. Hope it fixes it.

    Great video. So I did everything you mentioned accept for the spark plug.
    But I think you forgot to mention is the tuning of the carb. I ended up being very rich , so I had to play with the air/fuel mixture screw to get jr right , which took me a long time (also adjusting the idle screw). I think I went to big of a main jet (from 105 to 125). My screw is all the way in, and still I’m getting backfires (not as much if I screw it out).

      Hello Robert the first thing that came to my mind is a dirty air filter try to disconnect the house in the back side of the carburetor and go for a test ride for 1/2 mile and see if you have a change in performance but if you change the stator could be that the new stator at high RPM is not performing the same way like the old stator . I hope this can help you

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Jane I find the solution for you. you will need to make a small hole in the nibbi pipe or on the top of the hight flow filter and place a Brass Hose Fitting, Adapter like this 1/4" Barb x 1/8" NPT Male Pipe like this amzn.to/3fcPRMU so you can connect your hose there

    My question is it possible to combine an oil cooler with one of those oil fill tube vent kits? Also there is a possibility of adding an ecotrans fuel injection system which would improve both performance and fuel economy along with an above said oil cooler however the oil cooler looks to run around 170 on the net and the fuel injection system seems to cost around a whopping 800. I have only planned on this for my 49cc 4 stroke motorised bicycle with jackshaft build. It already goes faster than my wifes icebear 50cc with me weighing 260 and her weighing only 120. But there are drawbacks to a motorised bicycle. They need constant attention and the system will eat a chain quick.

    my scoter lose timing 180 degrees out i pit it bet on timing and try to start it and out a gen 180 degrees

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  ปีที่แล้ว

      If your scooter's timing is 180 degrees out, it means that the ignition timing is off by half a revolution, which can cause the engine to run poorly or not at all. Here are the steps you can follow to correct the timing:
      Remove the spark plug from the engine to make it easier to turn the crankshaft.
      Locate the timing marks on the engine's flywheel and the engine casing. The timing marks are usually indicated by a line or notch on each component that needs to be aligned for correct timing.
      Rotate the engine's flywheel in the direction of normal rotation until the timing marks are aligned as indicated in the manufacturer's service manual for your scooter's model.
      Check the position of the camshaft and the crankshaft to ensure that they are aligned properly. They should be in the correct position as specified in the service manual.
      Reinstall the spark plug and try starting the engine.
      If you have correctly set the timing, the engine should start and run smoothly. If the engine still runs poorly or does not start at all, it is possible that there may be other issues that need to be addressed, such as a problem with the carburetor, spark plug, or other components. In that case, it may be best to have a qualified mechanic diagnose and repair the issue.

    If you're going to do all of this and spend that much money you should have just got a honda or yamaha to begin with.
