I changed my fuel line on my brand new scooter - the line became disconnected. So I replaced it w/ clear tubing and a stop valve, as you suggested. It took me all day, today, but I just got back from a neighborhood spin. Thank you....to the point, demo, explanation. You don't just stand there and talk, you teach very well.

The spacer on the brake may give you a little more braking power when your brake shoes are worn but just like a car's brakes it will not extend the life of your brakes. Your brake shoes are going to ware at the same rate they normally do. Once they wear to a certain point no matter how much spacer you use, the brakes will become unsafe to use because you won't have enough brake shoe material to stop the bike.

What part of of Florida I would like to bring my bike over
I bet the ice helps starting not due to cooling the starter motor, but by engaging the automatic choke! I find my moped starts easy when I have a battery in it, kick start even, and without battery it's sometimes impossible, I believe it's due to the automatic choke being stuck on or stuck off and either flooding it or starving it before it starts.... I believe the auto choke is engaged by temperature, supposed to be enriched if it's cold and non enriched once hot, however I don't know if it's normally enriched or normally normal, or whether it needs electricity to change states.

Carburetor issues: The carburetor may be clogged or dirty, preventing proper fuel flow. This can lead to a lean or rich fuel mixture, resulting in poor idle and starting problems. Cleaning or adjusting the carburetor may help resolve the issue.
Fuel system problems: Check if there is sufficient fuel in the tank and that the fuel lines are clear. If the fuel filter is clogged, it may restrict fuel flow and affect idle and starting. Consider replacing the fuel filter if necessary.
Spark plug issues: A worn-out or fouled spark plug can cause difficulties in starting the scooter. Inspect the spark plug for signs of damage or excessive carbon buildup and replace it if needed.
Air filter blockage: A dirty or clogged air filter can restrict airflow, affecting the fuel-air mixture. Clean or replace the air filter to ensure proper air intake.
Ignition system malfunction: A faulty ignition coil, spark plug wire, or CDI unit can lead to starting problems. Inspect these components for any visible damage and consider testing or replacing them if necessary.

Hello my friend the best way will be to clean your exhaust with the aluminum foil but if the rust went to deep you need to remove all the rust and spray with black heat resistant paint and for the light you have 2 choice replace your head lights with led but they will flicker at low rpm unless you have a 8 or 10 poll stator or choice number 2 is to add a pair of extra led lights on the front of your scooter connected to the battery with a fuse . swap out the OEM bearings in my CVT I did the whole swap in my cvt except the bearings and what type of performance
will I get out of swapping out my OEM bushings.? And do I need to swap out my crankshaft since it's not a 49cc no more the mechanic that I talked to said I don't

I had my Wifes scooter lowered so she coulfd ride it. The place I bought went out of business and she never rides it. I would like to ride it but it is too low , how do I raise the rear suspension? Any instructions?

I PURCHASED A NEW GY6 150CC ZNEN CHINEESE SCOOT ON LINE FROM DEALER IN CALIF. ( SAFER WAREHOUSE ).
FROM FIRST RIDE AND FIRST TIME AND EVERY TIME I RIDE IT, AFTER ABOUT 5- 10 MILES THE ENGINE STARTS TO BOGG DOWN THEN SHUTS DOWN COMPLETELY. AFTER A FEW SECONDS IT WILL START UP AGAIN AND RUN FOR A FEW MORE MILES THEN DOES SAME.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ?
NOTE ITS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO BUY ON LINE.

I have a Chinese scooter 150cc and my exhaust pipe has a vacume hose up to a canister/filter I noticed it was disconnected today. I put an hose extension and it won't start. Any help?
Hello the pipe with a vacume is for recirculating egr system but that should not be the problem because the scooter is not starting could be several reasons why your gas scooter is not starting. Here are some common reasons:
Empty fuel tank: Check to make sure that there is enough fuel in the tank. If the tank is empty, fill it up and try starting the scooter again.
Faulty spark plug: A faulty spark plug can prevent the engine from starting. Check the spark plug to see if it is dirty, corroded or worn out. If so, replace it with a new one.
Dead battery: If your gas scooter has an electric starter, a dead battery could be the reason why it won't start. Try jump-starting the battery or replacing it with a new one.
Clogged air filter: A clogged air filter can restrict air flow to the engine, causing it to not start. Check the air filter and clean or replace it if necessary.
Dirty carburetor: A dirty carburetor can also prevent the engine from starting. Try cleaning the carburetor or taking it to a professional mechanic to get it cleaned.
Faulty ignition switch: If the ignition switch is faulty, it may not send the signal to start the engine. Try turning the key to the "on" position and jiggling it around to see if it starts the engine.
Stuck starter motor: If the starter motor is stuck, it may prevent the engine from starting. Try tapping the starter motor gently with a hammer to see if it frees it up.

@@VirberelloScooterTips thank you!!!! I checked my spark plug and it has NOT SPARK. drained the carb in case of flooding. Drained acces gas from carb. I put a new spark plug and not spark. Next I will change out the Ignition coil. If that doesn't work. I'll go off your list. If it does, that you for your help

Inspect the spark plug: Even if the spark plug is new, it could be faulty or damaged. Check the electrode and porcelain insulator for signs of wear, such as cracking or discoloration. If the spark plug is damaged, it may need to be replaced also inspect the inside of the spark plug boot there is a ceramic resistor that can brake with time

Hi Virberello me south africa my 150cc zapp scooter as soon as i reach 60km per hour it starts to shudder or jerk ..2mths ago i stripped carburator and cleaned.. new spark plug. filter clean.new belt rollers was going fine untill now only thing i haven changed is the petcock help please..

Hi Virberello it was the spark plug boot thank u ..there was a small clip on spark plug but cant get that clip inside boot so will have to buy another boot which i replaced 2month ago there is a lot of these small road breakers which vibrates the scooter a lot thanks southafrica ..

How do I know if my shocks are bad ?
Hello Jody look at the center part of the shocks and make sure you don't see to much grease because when shocks seals / gasket are bad they leak oil fluid and the shocks do not not go up and down very easily
