Mary, I'm so happy for you and John to be able to work together. When John held up the STOP sign, I had to laugh. Now that's what I call being subtle, and it was also quite funny. I'm looking forward to how you transform these wonderful finds into something awesome. Have a great week! ~Margie
This episode really brought back some really nice memories. The concrete leaf you purchased reminded me of the ones my husband and I did about 15 years ago using our huge elephant ears. I loved that craft and he did too. We had some really good times. Now we did concrete for outdoor use and we made some to display in our home using plaster of paris.Anyway just wanted to let you know how much your channel blesses me. My husband passed away in 2017 and I had not thought of those leaves in years, I've been smiling now just remembering.
❤ Hi Mary, it blessed me SO much to see you SMILE in this video… and your hair was extra lovely today! You and John found lots of awesome things to work on…❤
I am so glad you and John are now doing all of this together. I love garage saling and I think you ended up with some really neat stuff. I could easily get lost in that Old Time Pottery shop for sure!

I am TRILLED for you that you (and your husband) got to go to all these fun places to shop! You looked as though you really enjoy you time. Thanks for sharing all your items. God bless
Mary, you two seem to have such fun doing things like this. What a blessing! I live nearer Columbus (hour and half-ish) and now I want to take our truck and do this. Maybe next time, Lord willing, I will see you there! I want another Hoosier cabinet. My mother had one, I got it when she went to be with Jesus and I let my daughter have it when I moved to a smaller place. Thanks for sharing your weekend with us. Blessings
I was soooo hoping you were going to get that crusty Hoosier cabinet and turn it into a vision of loveliness! The trip l👀ks like a lot of fun!! I love all your videos and the way you give old things new life, l👀king forward to all the coming transformations! ❤️❤️❤️

Oh, Mary, I would love to see a dollhouse made and decorated by you. I love making dollhouses and miniatures in 1:12 scale. It is such a rewarding hobby that makes other people smile when they see it, whether from nostalgia or just from the aspect of seeing a 5 or 6 foot cabinet made as a 5 or 6 inch replica. Such a fun thing to do and I have no doubt your's would be as amazing as everything else you create! TFS Lov your channel.
You're a very hard worker! You have a lot of energy I wonder where you get it. LOL the Lord's bless you with your little business. And I'm thankful for. God bless you both!

Great finds especially the rocking chair. I hope you decided to keep it. I already had you pictured on the porch rocking away, drinking a cup of coffee and listening to the birds singing in the background! I can’t wait to see what you do with all your finds. Your so talented and I appreciate all your hard work and care you put in all you do.❤️
Mary, when you said it was on your bucket list to make a house or doll house, it popped into my head that a replica of your house would be great! I bet it would really sell!
Love this video! You're so lucky to have a supportive and caring husband. You make a great team, and I'm sure you're at the top of your game because y'all lift each other up!! God bless you for sharing your joy and your talents with us. I hope you keep the rocker. It's very piece.
Mary-this was so much fun! Thanks to John for filming you-all the "stuff" and the Car Show was a great surprise bonus. My aunt used to race way back in the day on a dirt track in north Louisiana...early 70's and she drove a blue Charger. The women could only race each other and it was called the "PowderPuff" event -she won many times! The women weren't allowed to race in the men's races. Wow-haven't times changed for the better. Thanks again for bringing us along on y'all's adventure. Cannot wait to see what you do with all of these items. I want to see that outfit upclose where the bottom of your skirt had layers of lace. It looked beautiful.
I love seeing you and your husband in videos together. Y’all work beautifully together . Hope to see more of the both of you . I’m so envious of all the yard sale hopping 😃💕! God bless .
I used to have a best friend and for years she and I would spend all weekend hitting garage sales. It was so much fun. She has since moved 1,000 miles away.
I am so truly gloriously happy for Mary and Jon. For you and your family. I hope I was to share some happiness with you and your family. You are a wonderful lady and I love, love, love your videos so much.
I’ve recently found your channel and I’m going back and watching all your videos. I’m so impressed by you. You can do anything! You have such a lovely home.
I so enjoyed this video. So how is John enjoying his time to go to sales and working in the bussiness with you? I'm sure you're enjoying him being able to go with you on this kind of little trips. You two are so sweet together, such a good looking couple. I love that you are able to work together, your living the dream, that's for sure. God bless you two.
Yeah old time pottery is one of my favorite stores I actually bought a quilted purse there about 15 years ago and I use it for sewing notions and I just love it and it never even fell apart or anything
I love Old Time Pottery. I live in Charlotte, NC and we have one. It takes me a long time to get through ours. I loved it when John picked up the STOP sign...too cute. At times I felt I was watching two teenagers, sweetest thing ever. So enjoy your videos. Next time!
I enjoyed seeing your garage sale haul. I have been busy watching your old videos, there are alot. But I enjoy watching them and seeing all your talents!
Another fun trip down memory lane when I lived there. I wondered if Old Pottery was still in business. Thanks for taking us along on your garage sale shopping weekend! 🙂❤️🙃
How nice your husband helping and going with you to garage sales, I called this teamwork. You two are awesome looking couple. Love your videos💕👏🏼👏🏼👍🏻👍🏻
Ohhh you were down by my neck of the woods. Mount Vernon. That is where I grocery shop. I used to live in Columbus. I did not know they had a Pottery Barn. Love those. Great deals. Can not wait to see what you do with all your new treasures. I Just love them. Btw I am in Holmes county all the time. I always think of you. LoL bc I know yours there. My husband and I haul Amish for a living so I am very much apart of their world and all over the place. Small world lol
Across from OTP is a thrift store called Furniture with a Heart. They get neat pieces in there all the time. Prices are hit or miss, but I've found lots of nice things in there.
Great finds, I love thrifting and revamping items. I love your chanel and the content you provide. You are super talented as well. Thank you for including us in your adventure.
The doll house was beautiful I can’t wait to see you make your dream come true and build a dollhouse. My aunt was very much into dollhouse miniatures and she made some amazing miniatures. I can’t wait to see what you do with your finds from the garage sales.
the LOW chair you just bought is a prayer chair, makes kneeling a little easier, I think it looses something if it doesn't hurt a little......bless you
LOVE this video Mary! I always look forward to your projects! I love distressing wood furniture and you are such a true inspiration! My husband and I stopped by the Antique Mall last weekend on our way to Youngstown Ohio. I did a video of your booth for my video on TH-cam! It was a joy seeing your things and all the time and effort you have put into your space is amazing! I ended up buying a candle and my husband and I both agreed that we would be back to visit and have a long weekend in Walnut Creek! 🥰
Thanks for taking us with you to the yard sales Mary! I saw lots of things I would have grabbed. You sure found lots of treasures, loved the rocking chair and end tables!! I love your channel and you always inspire me to get some new projects going!
Greetings from Portland Oregon Mary! 🌲🌹 Thank you and John for taking us along with you on this fun haul! I’ve given you the name: My “Proverbs 31” sister in the Lord! Clearly, you are in so many ways a great steward over what the good Lord entrusted you with! 👏👏👏👏 My sons girlfriend is an emergency medical doctor which just started her residency in Cortland, Ohio in July! I hope to see your booths if I ever visit someday? Blessings in turbulent times! Be safe and well! ✝️🙏😇🌹
Enjoyed this video you have a good eye for pretty things and also items that you know you can do awesome things with them and either keep or sell. Thank you for taking us along with you!
Mary you looked so pretty! Loved the blue and white dress when you got home. So glad you and John got a mini vacation, loved him holding up the stop sign!🇨🇦
I enjoy everything you brought back with you. I could go nuts in those places.....LOL I love to look at it all too. I was hoping you would get the blue and white plates and bowls. My husband asked me today should we go look at some antique malls and I giggled and said, "you mean go look at things we had in our homes as children growing up".........we both laughed but then again nostalgia and there is always something to remind us or some very unique things to find. Loved this video Mary and thank you for sharing all these lovely finds. I can't wait to see what you do with them all! Blessings
I live in Amish Country Ohio. And Yep Columbus is not that far away. I got that same suitcase as you and same color. Small world. God Bless and Stay Safe.
What fun! I went to an Antique store recently & was pleasantly surprised how reasonable & clean everything was for most part. I found 2 copper heart shaped molds reminded me of my mom in law years ago & one has ducks embossed into it. Love them copper accents to go with my cannisters. So fun. Also a beautiful picture frameOh & hand embroidered post cards to send to friends. So pretty. Anyway thanks for sharing love garage sale finds. This summer our neighborhood had a huge block 4 day sale! I snagged some vintage outdoor dishes with a holder a wooden Michigan plaque & many other items for very reasonable. Enjoy recreating your furniture finds!
Nice trip for you and John! I LOVE the primitive style bench and the door box! You found some really great things! And son happy to see you and hubby out and about together!
Thanks for taking us along! You and John are such a cute couple. His 🛑 was hilarious! I hope you keep the rocker. It’s so unique and would look beautiful with a white cushion keeping the wood color. Just beautiful!
Oh Mary! Thank you for this video. We just moved from Hawaii to Kentucky. We sold everything we owned before leaving Hawaii and got on the plane with 2 suitcases and a carry-on each. We have nothing. No furniture. No dishes. No linens. NOTHING. I've been hitting thrift stores and fb marketplace to fill our new farmhouse with what we need. But I'm taking it slow. Not having anything is actually liberating. So, I'm taking it slow and buying stuff I love that I need, instead of just need. We'll probably sit on the chairs or on the floor until I find that perfect sofa. Anyway, we'll be going to Ohio next year for labor day it seems after watching this video. So, thank you so very much. Btw, I forgot to pack the $300 worth of norwex products I got from you when we left Hawaii. I left it in the broom closet in the house we lived in Hawaii. So, whoever lives there now is HOPEFULLY enjoying them and didn't throw them out. They were practically new. 😩 Anyway, super great big MAHALOS again for this video. So very helpful.
As I told Mary. There is a yard sale that begins in Michigan And goes through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. It is continuous. Hundreds of people participate. People show up in trucks and just follow the sale. I think it’s called The Longest Yard Sale. It happens in August .They have canceled the last year because of COVID, but not this year. It is 680 miles long and it took place August 6-8. ? But I’m sure they will resume next summer. Look it up
Mary, I love everything you bought. If I lived closer I'd so love going yard sale shopping with you. The knowledge one would gain from you. You and John are the cutest and fantastic you both have this time to spend together and support one another. ❤
So many wonderful finds! I love how you can look at old things that most people would just get rid of and you can see the beauty and possibilities in them. I can’t wait to see what you can come up with for your yard sale finds
Such interesting things you found, what fun searching, but funnily enough it's the grey blue stool you sat on that most caught my eye. When I was little many years ago every household had at least one stool like that, a workhorse that was a seat, a stepladder, a side table with a cloth on it, and much repaired. So useful, and simple to create from basic materials. We have some old fence planks hanging about and now i want to make myself a childhood stool. I forgot to say, those stools were perfect as playtime tea tables with miniature tea sets, or just right to make models on with plasticine, as I said, very useful. 😊 It will be a treat to see what you do with your treasures in days to come. 😊👍
I always enjoyed going with my husband to yard sales and flee markets. I have not been in a long time. My husband passed young and I miss going with him. You got such great finds.
You and your hubby are so cute together! I love that you are now working together! You found a lot of great things Mary! You'll have to show us where you put everything!
so much fun, you got great stuff. I love that black candel holder that you plan on putting a plant. Can't wait to see what transformation you will give all your items...God Bless.
I literally laughed out loud at John holding up the stop sign when you were making your pile. "Welcome to the business, hunny!" Looks like you had a great time and good haul.
Mary, that was so kind and polite, not to mention helpful, that you picked up the last bag and then your husband took it out of your hands! That is the sign of a true gentleman!💗💗
My exact same thoughts..what a fabulous pair they make ❤
I thought the same thing!
He is a darn good looking man
Jennifer, I noticed that too. Very nice.

Thanks for taking us along! You and John are such a cute couple. His 🛑 was hilarious! I hope you keep the rocker. It’s so unique and would look beautiful with a white cushion keeping the wood color. Just beautiful!
Mary so glad to see You and John enjoy trips and garage sales together. I enjoyed seeing the items you purchased. TFS
Anyway, super great big MAHALOS again for this video.
Look it up
Your creativity inspires me to be more creative! Thanks for your videos.
I would love to watch the stages of building a beautiful custom dollhouse. Looking forward to maybe seeing that…😊
Mary, I love everything you bought. If I lived closer I'd so love going yard sale shopping with you. The knowledge one would gain from you.
You and John are the cutest and fantastic you both have this time to spend together and support one another. ❤
Garage sales always fun. I especially liked the pink glasses Thanks for sharing Mary.
So great to see you enjoying this journey together.
It's wonderful that John goes along with whatever you do. He's so supportive!
Things are so cheap in the states. Great treasures found mary, you'll make them even more beautiful.
🤗 Thank you Mary, enjoyed seeing what you found! Too bad the plate got broken. Take care.
So many wonderful finds! I love how you can look at old things that most people would just get rid of and you can see the beauty and possibilities in them. I can’t wait to see what you can come up with for your yard sale finds
I truly love what you do! Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
How fun! Thanks for taking us along! ❤️
If I was younger I’d be doing exactly what you do! You had a productive and fun trip! Praise God!
That is a perfect weekend to me...love garage sales! Thanks for taking us along Mary. 🤗
Fun trip! Thanks for taking me along 😁
so much fun, you got great stuff. I love that black candel holder that you plan on putting a plant. Can't wait to see what transformation you will give all your items...God Bless.
I would have loved to have those pretty blue & white plates towards the end of the video. Those were so pretty.

Can’t wait till you get some done! God bless you and yours. Connie
So much fun to join you...I love looking at the towns you pass through.
I literally laughed out loud at John holding up the stop sign when you were making your pile. "Welcome to the business, hunny!" Looks like you had a great time and good haul.
