I struggled the most with this level on PA. I found that if you don't shoot the first alien around the corner, and instead immediately head down to turn the gun turrets on, you run into less men in the bottom floor. As far as getting the devestator goes, it's left in the top floor room closest to the middle elevator. It was left by one of the hostages 100% of the time when I went to that room first to release the hostages after completing mission 1. Didn't matter if I saved one or both hostages in that room. For a good first shot on the top floor hostage takers, put yourself into the corner furthest away from the door, but still directly in front of it. If your going into the middle room, aim slightly to the left of the door smudge in front of you. I know "smudge" is a tough descriptor, but that's the best I can describe it. Open the door and there should be a hostage taker directly in your line of sight. Same thing with the other upstairs room except aim slightly to the right of the door smudge. Hope this helps someone!
I could never beat this level on PA. The respawning enemies with K7 avengers were bad enough, but the shields were the last straw. Since the enemies don't flinch when you shoot them it makes it nearly impossible to take them down.
@@costco_pizza do all other objectives as fast as possible then use the rpc to cloak to the bomb and if you have enough health and ammo you can go up the ramp to the hanger or if your low health just go around tobthe other side of the hanger

I never liked this level in PA without using cheats. Not too bad on SA, but this jumps it up. Second hardest level to me on legit gameplay, behind Attack Ship. Those enemies always having shields with K7 Avengers, possible double damage, and infinite spawn points makes it quite frustrating, especially when disabling the bomb, and the fact the defense from good guards isn't great anyway. It didn't took me that many tries, but it is difficult if not careful. Very fun on A when using the RC-P45 (RC-P90). The Hit and Run or Alien buddies are handy here. Hotshots, can't always guarentee it.
Man, I've tried this stage literally 100s of times and could never pass it. I've never tried running and gunning like you though. Also, I believe there are some enemy spawn points you can destroy which I've never tried doing.
The only enemy spawns you can destroy are the ones at the turrets objective, after you use them they won't appear on your back anymore, but they'll still get to the top floor after the hostages objective. Best bet is to use the Combat Boost when you get the RC-P120 and mix it with the cloaking device.
there are indeed some "hidden" spawn points you can destroy with explosives, not only here but in most levels with infinite respawns. One of them is at the turn of the ramp between the hangars and the office area. However as I said that's only if you have explosives, which may require cheats as most levels don't have explosives around.

Great run Grasslu, I like how you played catch with the guys around the ship, but the run was pretty much very lucky, with not so many enemies in the hallways. The only way I could pass this level was forcefully reducing the framerate of the emulator from 60 to 20, giving me some valuable seconds to react, but I'm working on an strategy to do it right. Currently I don't have a N64, not even one of those knockoffs that run original cartridges, but I want the satisfaction of finishing this SOB game for the first time in my life.

Everyone has shields and they'll kill you in a split second with their K7 Avnegers. Good luck to all who try this monstrosity!
i still play this on my original n64 and it doesnt look this sharp are you using an HDMI?
No, this is emulated. A real N64 will never be able to output this resolution. If you want to see how real hardware looks with UltraHDMI, I'm currently recording a Perfect Dark playthrough - th-cam.com/play/PL-zOWmGvo0G-ym-0wD69LYCn_GNrWNReY.html
I wish there was a way to watch how we used to play on n64. All these computer Jimmy rigged ways of playing the game kill the thrill. This was hard back then. I still did watch this for the memory.
If you check the pinned comment you'll find the video I recorded on N64. Also in the description.
You act like it's a bad thing that we play this on computer. It's hard to come by old games and consoles these days from the insane overpricing online. Emulation is obviously done to preserve these games so that they don't get lost
get clear i will hold em up .. 2 sec later , they trouw a box on her and she is done XD
I'd like a link for that dress mod.
It's not a mod, it's a graphic plugin glitch.
theres no way this was done on N64
It isn't. Check the description for more info, I left a link to the emulator used in there.
Right. I was noticing how well you were aiming and thought I must blow lol
Haha yeah, there's a huge difference. If you're not doing it already though, switch to 1.2 controls on N64 to have better camera control with the stick instead of C buttons.
I wonder... how are you supposed to figure out what to do.
Playing the easier difficulties first, and reading the briefing.
@@Graslu00 Thank You Someone Agrees With This Guy
how do you sprint?
By going forward and towards a side (left or right) you'll start to gain speed. This is called strafing, and it's basically running sideways.
I hate this level. It’s brutal.
I love him 😂🤷♀
why use the AR34 instead of the K7 Avenger? K7 Avenger has better damage and RoF, it does have smaller clip size though
The AR34 goes through shields way faster than the K7 Avenger though, so it's really useful for this mission.
@@Graslu00 huh? how would it? because the K7 has better damage and RoF
@@GymmyRhys I think it's just a special feature of it. I've never tried it side to side but while the K7 obliterates health, AR34 seems to go through shields like butter.
Ja ja ja .. los vídeos estas por partes ..monse ..
