Two questions. Do you have to put the cocoa and powdered sugar in? Can these also be covered in melted chocolate? The reason why I'm asking, my grandmother used to make something similar, but hers were covered in chocolate and the centers were beige in color. I remember them having nuts inside, but definitely not chocolate, except for the outside coating. Thanks for any response. Merry Christmas.
Perfect recipe!
Very easy recipe . i will try it
I just wanted to say I like your receip the best. When I don't use Alcohol I just put freshly brewed coffee and they are so great also.
Finally! Someone said you can add another booze if you want! Thank you!
Looks deicious
What if I add just a tad bit more rum
I think a little more would be ok, as long as the crumbs stick together and form a ball
My mother made this with 5 tablespoons of rum it was ok, little more sticky but fine!
imonediva I will help you eat them
someone I knew would soak them in rum for months ahead of time
Wooden honey make a sticky dough to eat
Always sift powdered sugars and cocoa...honey works well too...
Does the powdered sugar coating eventually melt when you store them?
@@jettie1956stays white and powdery on the counter in an airtight container
My coworker bought some to work, let's just say it was a great week😂😂😂😂

What kind of food processor were you using? Thanks for showing your cookies.
***** It is a Ninja www.amazon.com/Ninja-Warrior-NJ200-Immersion-Processor/dp/B004NTJL4K/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_opt?ie=UTF8 :)
How long do you think these would last in the fridge.
Well, we got a Tupperware in the fridge from Christmas and it's January, and they are still delicious as always
So why do you use corn syrup? Is it so that they stick together? Will butter not work?
I think it is so they stick together without getting hard. Honey would be a good replacement
I use honey when I make rum balls
My mother would not let anyone eat the Rum-balls for 2 weeks! Yeah they were aged well!
Yum!
Cookfor mykids :)
I’d say a half cup of rum
