I have 2019 Silverado sitting on a 10" MCGAUGHYS lift kit and 20x12 rims, with 37x13.5 Hybrid tires , so far im enjoying every minute i drive my truck. The shop did had to sand down my bumber about a 1/4 you cant tell unless you go and actually touch it with your hand and look at it from 1 ft away lol.
Hey anything else you had to do? I m concerned about the gearing and the driveshaft issues?… I want that same kit- I’m just worried about those things. Thanks..
@BigJim_909 I believe that 10 inch Mcgaughys doesn't exist anymore, only up to 9 inches nowadays , but you can find it in other brands. Nothing else was done it still rides fine. I only changed tires once 70k miles now . When I had it lifted back in 2019, it had 3k miles, lol
Could you guys do a video on no cut no weld lift kits for 90’s model chevys and other trucks. I feel like there’s a lot of people that would appreciate it
Not new to car/truck mods but this will be my first time going with a truck lift. Have a 2019 Silverado LTZ 4x4. In my mind I've gone from 2.5-3.5 level to 4-6" lift. Ultimately I see myself on a 24x12 but right now have 22x12.5 on 33s not mounted. Should I just call it a day and go 6" lift instead of 3.5-4? If so, how does Rouch Country compare to BDS and Ready Lift. Thanks in advance for information! There are a ton of forum experts but seems like most roads lead back to you guys. Oh, would like to avoid cutting/welding and any warranty implicationswould be great!
Patiently waiting for these lift companies you mentioned to come out with some 2021 model lifts. My new Duramax 3500 is sitting in my driveway begging to be lifted. My piggy bank is ready 🇺🇸 Get on it!!
Great video- I have an install question. I have a 2020 Silveado Z71 Crew Cab with the 3.0 L duramax. I'm digging the ReadyLift 4" SST option you listed. From your review, it looks as those there is no modification needed for the suspension. Can you confirm that? I don't want to do that, I like the z71 rancho shocks. Thanks.
The 4” ready lift kits on the Trailboss you can’t use 4 wheel drive I was reading. Can you explain more on this please because I’m wanting to add 4” on my LT Trail Boss.
I bought the Superlift 3inch kit, not what I exactly wanted because when I ordered I wanted the 3.5inch, but for whatever reason even though I plugged in a 2019 New Gen it gave me the 2018 body style kit, sadly they didn't have a 4inch when I bought mine, not upset though, 3inch kit is beautiful on my 2020 GMC, only time Custom Offsets ever let me down a little, but I'm still pretty satisfied, especially at a $600 price point
Hey, in this video the mention the ready lift 4" is a no cutting bolt on. But I seen a video posted by readylift on youtube on the install of the 4" kit on a new Silverado and at one point he did cut off a stud on strut mount I believe. Did you have to make any cuts?
Eibach has a new pro truck lift kit for around 600 shipped. 2-3 inches of lift. It comes with new coil springs adjustable struts and rear shocks. I just got mine in looking for a shop to install it. The prices seem crazy to me 700-1300 not including alignment.
Glad I got the 7-10 Mcgaughs lift kit before not available now thear making 7-9 on the view 19+ GM trucks do to thear front drive line manufacturer not being able to keep up with the demand big disapotment. New 7- 9 will never fit 37s with 14 wides I had to do major trimming to fit mine with set at 10in also front sits 1in 1/2 higher . I need 1/2 higher in front having ADS build me coilovers to get that 1/2 in and going to contact ATLAS SPRINGS to build rear leaf springs to level it out, I waited for COGNITO to come out with 10- 12 but tired of waiting
I want to see trucks on 22" wheels!! I want to have an Idea. Most people run 20" wheels and go with fatter tires! I want to see if 22" wheels can get some decent meat on tires.
Just purchased the 6 inch bds coilover lift for my 19 Sierra 1500 over the mcgauhys ss 7-9 kit. Figured have the coilovers and the bds brand would be the best option. I hope I made a good decision! I hear hit and miss things about mcgauhys so I decided to pass
@@alejandroalcantar8546 ended up going with the bds coil over kit and my brother in law went with the ss kit mcgauhys kit. I sold my truck but if I had to do it again, by far go with the SS kit, much better looking, truck rides better and the adjustability is much better.
Really good information overall I’m debating between BDS/Roughcountry/Mccaughys I’m trying run 22x14/24x14 but not have a big lift like I want the truck to have a stance look but at the same time drivable and with a reliable kit but I just hear different things about this kits
I just added a level kit to my 19 Denali 1500. The top nut is rubbing the CV boot at full sag. Anyone else seeing this? I also just put 20x9 0 offset and 295 60 20 BFG TKO 2’s. Got some good rub. Anyone have input best way to trim the flap?
@@GendersonHernandez still on the fence on stepping up to 2500 Denali. If aftermarket refuses to give us power adder options for the 3.0 Thinking on waiting until dealerships start seeing the light on msrp's. And jumping upto 6.6 Duramax. So spending 8 grand on BDS and wheel/tire combo, might be wasted money.

Why not also make a cate eye video on what lift kits fit 1500 and 1500hd

Do the kit fit on Tahoe 2020

Am interested in the eibach leveling kit! But how comfortable is it? And handling compared to Ranchos
