I have played this very Sarabande on classical guitar by way of Hubert Koepel's transcription. What a delight to hear it played on the original instrument Bach wrote it for played so wonder fully. Thanks. I'm sure in the future I'll play it better..
grueling beauty .... improvising among disappearing memories of a thousand years, from an unthinkable height .... Alina this sarabande really makes me cry!
Dear Alina.. you do not just read.. or perform this. In my opinion you go to the very inner meaning of this masterwork. Deep, sensitive and breathing. Thank you, as usual !
Thanks to post these two harpsichord JS Bach pieces, so masterfully played by you, exactly two years after the departing of the great Gustav Leonhardt. Im not a specialist but I feel in your playing something of the sensibility of the dutch master. Thanks again, Alina.
Ahhh, the same approach drives Alina's particular form of originality; phenomenon that is not rooted in the intellectual history of our days but rather a mysterious emanation of genius: strong an inalienable belief in her own right to read and interpret, to find and express the messages that she feels Bach or God (call it as you prefer) has put there for the enlightenment of mankind. Alina does not take the authority at the face value. She has the same independence of mind as Bach and it is this - just as much as her depth and brilliance of imagination and abilities with an instrument that makes her interpretations so powerful and unique, and warm. As always, thank for sharing.
Almost would like to hear the Fuguato in the 6th partita BWV 830 immediately after this...... ta, tria da.... , ta tria da.... ta tria.. ta da da .. ta..ta.....

However highly any of you praise her, none of you have the slightest notion of Alina's true worth, moral as well as musical.

But that is not true. You all recognise her beauty and brilliance. God bless you all.
