As much as its true (his ability), we wont actually get to see much of it outside of it being a cliff hanger / teasing though - not until next season, that is when he will properly change the landscape.

@@G3rmanhenry I think its cuz he is too much focused on lvling up and getting stronger to solve his family and his own problems, but yeah that works that way too, if they are interested they will get a way to meet you and get closer to him.
8/10 for you Sung. Wants to be discreet, yet goes out clearing 3-4 C-rank dungeons which take an average of 3 hours for 8-man party PER DAY. Truly thought you were sneaky, huh 😂.

I’d give the episode a solid 8/10! It had most of what I want from a solo levelling ep: cool fight scenes, sung casually flexing his strength, great world building and some humour with Jinho’s fashion choices.

8/10. Really liked the way Sung handled the recruitment, interesting to see how his personality is ever so slightly changing, or to be more accurate being more himself as he now has that capability.
Does feel like joohee got done pretty dirty but then again i kinda have that viewpoint on alot of side characters. Still wonder how far theyll take it to fleshing things out in the anime but maybe they could alleviate that a bit. Even though that might just be my own hopium talking.

Solid 8/10. Well paced and very well adapted from the source material and manhwa, and as someone who knows what's coming next episode I could not be more excited for next week. This show looks incredible as always and I know the best part of the season is going to be amazing.
7/10 I feel like they can work on more action during the dungeon rather than Speedrunning them and not really showing the skills that he has gain during the raids. I rather see him one shot a boss just like episode 3 or 4 than just filler of negotiations

7/10 i like the anime alot up to this point but ever since our MC killed the strike team in the dungeon there just hasnt been any moments yet that measure up to that impact.

honestly, nothing really negative to say about the episode aside from the NPC-like dialogues from the party the MC recruited just to stand outside the gates. Nothing that really stood out for me either hence why my score is right between 5 and 10.

It is doubtful that Sung wouldn't offer her to join picnick raids once she said she's retiring. She already holds his secret. I genuinly enjoy the story but lack of sense stop it from being 10/10 to my taste. Like goblins immune to bullets. Even humble Sasaki and Pi anime had much better explanation why modern arms wouldn't give that much of an edge.
I'll give this Episode a 7.5/10.
It was a slower episode, which isn't a bad thing. However, unlike Episode 8, there wasn't that much Anime original content, which made me believe Episode 8 was one of the best episodes this far.
What's throwing me off more and more are the chins. God, I hate those triangle designs.
All in all, the episode was all right. If it weren't for the one-week wait for every episode, I'd probably rate this episode even higher. I'm sure when watching the show in one go, everything so far fits pretty well.

This is unfounded speculation on my part, but I think the reason why Jinwoo uses daggers instead of the more logical swords or even longer spears, is simply because his father did. The manhwa made it clear Jinwoo's father used daggers.😮
It’s probably also correlated to sung at the beginning not being too confident in bigger weapons since a fast hit and run style probably suited him better as well as larger weapons being more expensive since they also would need to have more mana in them to be useable in dungeons.
@@elwinner6618 And of course he not only couldn't afford them, he probably couldn't lift them. Still, after getting the System, it would have been no problem for him to switch to swords if he had wanted one. And really, as the System (deleted, spoilers) he could have gotten a sword...🤔. Certainly that sword from the upcoming raid, (you know which one) would have been awesome...😳😳. So why still stick to daggers?! 🧐
@@User_Un_Friendly I mean when you get used to something you kind of stick to it right. Plus he has dagger proficiency skills and a fighting style specialized towards that of a rogue. At the end of the day, even if he decided to start training with a sword, I imagine he would default to daggers when fighting seriously
@@elwinner6618 Yes, but my point is, if he wasn't disposed towards daggers, and used a sword exclusively, wouldn't he get sword skills? The System caters to the Player's wishes, to a certain extent.
@@User_Un_Friendly out of universe, I imagine the author just liked the aesthetic. Otherwise, him getting other weapons just kind of works itself out since he can just give other gear to the bois.
I'm happy to be someone who has been supporting solo leveling since chapter 1 all those years ago and I'm so excited seeing the anime community's reaction to the anime

8/10 was an enjoyable episode.. At the very least
9/10 I prefer to see the manga/anime stories be as close as possible. I don’t always expect a one to one story, but I prefer them to be close approximations. This was that to me.
The fact were nearing ep 11 and the series is still at its introduction phase, the anime only arent ready😅

Jinwoo wasn’t aware how much was spent on the gates…. That’s what lead them to finding him so easily.
However he always knew he would get caught he is just trying to delay it. If people find him reawakening multiple times would lead to a LOT of questions that he doesn’t know/want to answer. However if he hits a rank the first time he “ reawakens” as insane as it is does have a history of happening to lesser degrees anyway. But the truth isn’t even a rumor of possible.
That guy definitely have the eye for talent. Competent guy 👍🏻

i think a good way to describe the feeling of a crit would we like hitting a brick wall feeling the vibration through your hand ( normal hit ) but the crit would feel soft and at the end a little popping sensation. feeling smoothing and almost good.

I think most people agree that the healer girl had a lot more genuine chemistry with Sung than anyone else in the series. Later you get "You Smell Nice" girl who, at least in the Manhwa, feels stiff and forced. Even the demon girl he works with had more chemistry with Sung.
Not that the series focuses too much on romance which thank goodness it doesn't since it seems to be its weakest aspect. Not terrible but more like a 4/10.
I abhor this episode.
Revealing his identity, power and method to other hunters, without a perimeter around the gate, and also having his name in the official documentation while clearing gates like candy so fast that it'd cause a shortage of gates!!!
Then he reveals his abilities to a stranger despite having 2 kill or be killed experiences with other hunters while he is already warned that a S ranked hunter might be after him, and also uses a member of a top tier guild as guinea pig!
Is he insane or just utterly stupid?! I know he didn't invest in intelligence, but come on... that's plant level of intelligence.

The guild that is transparent to his plans, can ultimately net him more exp, resources, and money. Without the needless exposure to public eye. Although he will be exposed to the later one but the severity of divulged identity isnt that bad. He has to get stronger the fastest way and the fastest way is to not share experience to those fellow parties who exp points don’t apply
