As an Astor Turbo customer, I agree with everything that is mentioned in this video. It is definitely a very underrated car and I also agree that the Astor is not for everyone. Only those who understand good engineering will appreciate it.

Glad to see both of you...Astor is a pretty good car & it has gone above my expectations actually...I also own a Hyundai i20 too..All the points u picked are true....& pretty satisfied with MG so far 👍, the same way as i am with hyundai ... I think MG is doing really good in the aftersales service part ...If they continue to do the same , they can definitely make a difference in the long run ..
Have you got turbo or NA engine, whats the mileage (which is the biggest concern when it is about MG)and performance with AC on and 4 people on board.
@@Car_Factory_007 i have got 1.5 MT sharp, average in city is 12 and on highway depends. Recently i made trip from Pune to Solapur, was cruising on 70 as I was not in hurry and was able to get 20. But 2 months back Pune to Ratnagiri i was speeding at more speed and average was 17. Lack of 6th gear shows on highway in performance and mileage both. Talking of performance alone, 1.5 is a commuter bro, better go for 1.3T or other car if you really want performance.
If quality, fit and finish, safety, premium ness, good service and value for money product is your criteria then Astor is the one in this segment.
All my friends or relatives who have sat in my car had hard time believing it's 17 lakh car, it feels much much costlier than it is.
6th gear is really missed...btw 1.5 manual has a good amount of mid range pull ....
Do not compare this with an i20, compare with something like Kushaq/VW Taigun
I am a proud owner of MG Astor Smart manual variant since January 2022. This car is the best in terms of built quality, luxurious interiors as well as exteriors and after sales service. Driving this car on long trips brings smile on my face and my family's faces too. Kudos to MG Family for bringing a fantastic product. Have driven close to 25k kms in 1 and half years and it seems that car is still as new as if I bought it yesterday only. No erratic sound, suspension is on softer side and therefore even on big potholes, it does not make persons sitting inside feel any bump. This SUV is miles ahead of Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara, Kushaq or Taigun. Only an automobile enthusiast can know the difference.

I have a Sharp MT 1.5 variant, it gives 16 kmpl in city and 23+ kmpl on highway with 2 people. Blind spot monitor is a must for every car, it has saved me in foggy and rainy season. I don't need to keep looking in irvm when driving on highway. Brakes are next level. NO JERK. even if you brake hard. Ventilated Brakes are good. Hill descent control is so good, I don't need to think about braking all the time. Hill ascent control, the car has never rolled back ever on hill or any incline surface. Comfort, safety, tech, smooth, refined, beautiful interior and exterior. Auto headlamps and wipers are a charm.

MG Astor is pure luxury, particularly the top end Savvy Turbo AT trim. No other car in its segment compares to its build quality, luxurious interiors, tech and safety. It's an international model quite popular in UK and Europe too. Its ADAS too works perfect and far better than the competition. Great job MG!

There is no doubt that the MG Astor is a great car and is one of the most luxurious compared to others. I almost bought it, but its mileage was a problem. A fully loaded, great in driving and safe vehicle. great review as always 💯

I was waiting for this for a long time...
My story for not getting MG astor. I became a fan of it as soon as I sat in the car for a test drive and everything was awesome. But when I went to the showroom to book the style variant they just refused. I went to three different showrooms and was ready to wait for 1 year but they didn't take my booking at all. If that's the case why MG publishes the variant at all.

I own MG Astor style variant and I don’t have any issues after 1.5 years and more than 10000 kms of running. It is value for money car. Provides richness, comfortable and a family car too.

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the MG Astor 1.5 MT 2022 Style car that I purchased. I have only driven it for 15,000 kilometres, yet it has already presented numerous issues that are causing me great concern. Despite my efforts to seek support from MG, the company has been unable to provide a satisfactory solution to address these problems.
One of the issues I am experiencing is a sound coming from the clutch, which is very disconcerting. Additionally, when the AC is turned on, the car fails to climb hills properly, which is both frustrating and dangerous.
I had hoped that purchasing an MG Astor would provide me with a reliable and enjoyable driving experience. Instead, I have been left feeling stressed and disappointed, as the car has failed to meet even the most basic expectations. I saw your Mg Astor style variant ownership experience before buying the vehicle

After owning it for more than 7 months and 15k KM later - I would definitely say it's an underrated car in the segment for sure.

Its one of best car in the segment but its misses some very imp and now a days basic features like ventilated seats and auto dimming IRVM

Maine test drive li hai.. power nhi Hai.. salesperson ne hi bola mileage 7,8 ka hai..but features r really luxurious
I have done 2.5k kms in my astor, in city its giving 10-11 km/hr & on highway about 17 km/hr if I am keeping as per NHAI limit. All in all a far better buy than koreans and will definitely turn head.

Maine abhi 1.5 month pehle Li hai ye gadi....rich to dekho bht feel krati hai ye....baki haa average ko chod de to badiya gadi hai...easy drive hai....andar aur bahar se bht premium hai aur feel krati hai.....keval aur keval mere isaab se average ka hai isme Jo scene hai.

Cons-space is not sufficient for back passenger,boot space also low,only in paper is big,power is linear ok,looks like big hatchback,looks are subjective,service center is less,otherwise car is good and nice

Astor spirnt variant value for money. Hai. Family cars cha hi he. Long time rakha ni hai. In future CNG fitting ho sak ta hai. Because engine natural aspirated engine hai es li ye. Monthly running 600. Km. Engine reliable hai. Maintenance kai sa rahe ga. Service coast. High hai. Sprint value for money model ho sakta hai. CNG ka answer jarur dejiye ga. Thanks
