I love this man! His laugh is so infectious! Men are not taught to love. So true. When a man opens up about his struggles, women have to react in a way that is loving and be his safe space to be open. If he can't be himself in the relationship, then he will seek out someplace to be himself...a detrimental place. Anything we suppress we empower. When it's in the light, we can get power over it. His book is not about what women have to do better! Yaass! Gotta get this book. Thank you Devon! You are God-sent!

I love how these guys are talking as men and not as "black" men. They call themselves men. It's not about race, it's not about one kind of culture. Every man has this problem. Every woman needs to learn about this topic. Men need a Father. God is the Way and Devon is showing where the Light Resides. So proud of these two men who will be the kind of Fathers we need for Our Children. LOVE FAMILY MEN. GOD IS A FAMILY MAN.

I don’t think it is the responsibility of the partner to agree to stay and offer safety just because you decide to OPEN UP... I think we are each responsible for being brutally honesty, without fear of consequence... You may do something that crosses the line of your partner, and when you tell them about it, it is OKAY for your partner to want to walk away... If we can all just be fiercely HONEST, we WILL ultimately find ourselves with the partner who deeply accepts ALL of us in our totality! If you want someone to TRULY love you, BE YOU!

If I don't cheat , if he cheats I just cannot be with him if he's not sorry for it ,I can forgive him for it but I don't want him no.more cause he ant sorry and that tells me that he will continue to do it, so I got to let him go but go with forgiveness which means I will forgive him but it's over

I love the story but I won't fall in love with the story because I know 'what people show us' and 'what goes on behind closed doors' can differ.
I had a neighbour who is a pastor, married to his wife who is the mother of his children. They act like their relationship is holy, peaceful, loving, pure and WORTHY of being imitated, however, there were many times when I thought about calling the police because of the noise that came from his house. I feared for his wife and children's lives!
That's one example! I can't list a few more.

Devon,l love n admire you but l honestly don't think women should entertain those doggish tendencies in men...

I didnt listen to the whole video, but Devon usually tells women to be willing to walk away when a man behaves in "doggish" ways. This builds strength n self respect in the woman and let's the man know that his wrong behavior is not ok, and won't be tolerated. And for some men, when a woman leaves, it creates the motivation to change, to become a better man.
