Thank you very much for your videos. I don't see many people going this deep in explaining Lenormand. Most of the videos we find are for the very beginners but yours really give us deeper understanding. Thank you thank you thank you! You're special ❤
YES, YES, YES! As I looked around the practice groups online and saw that the same people are there year after year - still confused by what the cards are saying - I knew something was wrong. Learning the original/traditional system that this deck was designed for is the answer. Long live MOD!
I like your book a lot and Bjõrn's books also have a wealth of information (so I just seem to have it 😃) It's getting a lot clearer now! So I'm going to practice a lot.
@@annekevanderende-boxman9262 That's the way to do it - practice makes perfect! With time and repetition, your brain will naturally begin to think in terms of proximity!
Thank you Lisa! Such perfect timing, as I am in the middle of learning MOD, and have been referring to the near/far meanings in your book, which have been super helpful. (this is Adele 🙋♀️)
Superb explanation of the distance rules as well as the clusters! I’ve been finding it very difficult to have active and/or meaningful discussions on the MoD in FB groups. They either don’t want to participate outright or they learn about it and then kind of let it slip away. Feels like a lot of resistance overall. I’m so glad you are putting out MoD content and hopefully this method can gain more prevalence & acceptance in the Leno community. Looking forward to the next installment in this series as well as more MoD GTs in the future!
Thank you, Leno Fandango! (love that name, btw!) The majority of the readers on FB don't understand MOD. I remember when I was learning and on the brink of understanding. Anything different confused me and I had to reject it. When the student is ready......
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 I also think that, in addition to shying away from MoD in FB groups, lots of people don’t necessarily want to get involved with the GT itself (at least in group posts) because of being intimidated, or too time consuming, or, or, or… Like I said, it’s hard to get any dialogue going when both GT & MoD are the subject. That’s why I appreciate this series and hope you will continue with the quality content you’re sharing with regards to MoD GTs!!
@@lenofandango7186 So true. The popular groups aren't the place. I'd love to start a group but I have no time to run it. My friend Paul has a very small group by invitation only. It's for serious readers. If you're interested, I can suggest you.
Love this breaking down the clusters. Thank you. It brings up a question in my mind, though. The other cards, the ones that aren't in the clusters, are they more like "fillers" in the GT then, or do they still bear meaning in the MOD?
Hi Jody and thanks for your comment. Every card has a purpose and all cards are read as they are in any other method. The proximity rules and clusters in MOD provide additional information beyond the other information. It provides a basis for the story but also evidence and confirmation.
You ask really good questions, Karen! When reading for health, it's an indicator of life expectancy, so when it fell very near the seeker it indicated that they'd reach on old age. The other cards would explain the quality of those years.
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 so in this spread the seeker asked about the next 6 months. Based on your response, you are saying you see a long life for the seeker (beyond the 6 months?). Let’s say in another 6 mos he wants a new reading and you don’t have the tower to indicate longevity. I’m guessing you’d look at the cards to figure out what has changed ?
@@karensorrentino9498 think of it this way - if you're living life a certain way, and you have no existing health conditions or genetic disorders, the Tower is saying that you'll stand strong (a good visual for the Tower) for a long time. If you suddenly become despondent about life and begin drinking and smoking heavily and live on nothing but candy, your next reading will show that the Tower has moved away from your card.
i love looking at clusters but i feel uneasy to conclude that if the healt card is in the comfort zone i must see it as problemetic.. can i take only parts of mod methode into my own practice?
You can, but why would you want to ignore warnings? Negative cards in the comfort zone are there to help you, not hurt you. That would be like eliminating yellow traffic lights because they're annoying. We'll just go from green to red - or maybe we should eliminate the red lights as well - such a waste of time! LOL! Such cards are giving you a heads-up that something needs your attention, nothing more. I'm always grateful for warnings and I learn much more when problematic cards fall near than when beneficial cards are there. Think of it this way, when all the cards are favorable, we rest on our laurels. When we see some cards that spark our interest, we look around and dig deeper - we learn and improve - or we fix issues that are heading in the wrong direction before they become problematic. The Tree near is simply telling you that something is out of balance - something needs your help to bring it to an optimal state. If it pertains to your health, you might need more rest, to eat better, more exercise, less stress, or maybe it's time to switch supplements or start or stop taking a medication. It might be there to tell you that you need to attend to the health of a relationship or situation - something is stagnating. The surrounding cards will explain as will the context of the reading. All the cards provide information, but they can't if we continuously change their meanings to suit us. Does that make sense?
Thank you for your lovely comment, Sylvia! Keep checking Amazon, Book Depository, Book Wagon - the book is in and out of stock so quickly that you have to check often. You can get the ebook through kindle, nook, and apple books.

When you say the tower very near is long life, are you say in general for the seeker or for the time frame of the spread?
