Hello, I bought driver4vr but I can't open it from steam vr, I installed it, but when I delete driver4vr, steam vr enters, but after downloading it says restart steam vr, I restart but I can't enter steam vr again. On the oculus quest loading screen, steam vr hangs and shows as loading, but it does not load, I look at the computer screen, it enters, but the screen remains frozen. my computer system is very good but it hangs could the problem be related to quest 2? I've tried every way, I've been struggling for days, but they don't work together, please help :(
@@HarryOnVRR Yes, it does tend to crash, please keep in mind that the application is still under development. hardware will impact the stability of Driver4VR. at minimum you atleast need a gtx 1060, 16gb of ram and a ryzen 5 2600 or on the intel side a core i5 7600 if the software crashes at all, make sure that you downgrade to the previous version under betas in steam version 6.0 of driver4vr is unstable
In my case, everything works bad as hell. I use a lightweight model. FPS around 15, delay about 10 seconds. There is no tracking accuracy at all. Tried it in different clothes, with different lighting, but no difference
there is lots of factors to D4VR and your issues, it could be related to internet connection or the speed of how fast your phone can transmit data, if you are using a webcam or anything else like a pro level camera then i suggest trying a different camera, different devices give different results as well as different pcs give different results
@@samurxidestroyxr The video stream delay is minimal, I use a web camera. The delay appears immediately when you turn on the AI. Apparently the processor performance is severely lacking. Perhaps the resolution is too high and a lot of data needs to be calculated. I honestly don’t understand why Greg decided to calculate the model not on the GPU, but on the CPU
yes, hand tracking works but it requires the camera to be close to your arms (if i remember correctly, means that you have no movement unless you use a xbox controller.
I have a question, in case anyone could answer. I have this set up and mostly working but for some reason the body is following where I move my hand joycons? Like entirely, while I can still move my hips and legs fine. My chest will puff out and break. Any ideas as to why?
It depends on the camera used. On the phone. The lag is something that can't be dealt with. Try different algorithm complexities and see if it improves performance. If not. Then there is nothing you can do. You could also Try and brighten the room or darken it.

(talking range of a rtx 3080 and a ryzen 9) doing it with the QR code requires over 2 - 4 cameras (roughly SLRs or super high quality webcams. using the QR code method is also a framerate destroyer to your pc's kneecaps if it had any. so i genuinely would not recommend it

Is the d4vr skeleton on your body and lined up Usually. That is a issue related with the communication of the camera and the app. The only way to fix that is If you try a different camera or mobile device such as a tablet, ipod, iPhone or android device

So I did this using virtual desktop and now steam vr will only boot in flatscreen mode!! 😢

No. If you want to do that, use a app called "trinus VR" you will need to pay a fee but it works.

Might be related to the clothing you are wearing. You could also try a different camera to see if it will work
