- A fanmade modern-style trailer for Alfred Hitchcock's Academy Award-winning 1940 film Rebecca, made using music from Succession Studio's The Untold. Starring Laurence Olivier, Joan Fontaine, George Sanders, and Judith Anderson.
The 40s had the coolest movies
I am reading Rebecca right now and planning to watch the film when I’m done. I love this so much ❤
Wonderfully done, with real appreciation of the film.
Thank you for such a kind compliment!
The ending with the voice of George Sanders is just perfection!
Any chance of you re-uploading this in the correct aspect ratio?
I honestly love the portrayal of the new Mrs. De Winter in Alfred Hitchcock's classic, for he captures her naivety, innocence, and unintelligence about the outside world. And Laurence Olivier, that man gives you the gothic gentlemanly vibes of how Max de Winter is supposed to be ❤️
One of my fav movies and this captures the suspense!!
Thank you, it is a brilliant movie!
Folks in the comment section probably won’t like me saying this, but I enjoyed the trailer you made even more than the film. I don’t know how to explain why, but it made me tear up…it just felt overwhelming emotionally. Masterful editing and lovely music paired with it - thank you for this.
Thank you for the high praise! I’m so glad it connected with you!
So beautifully done. 👍
wrong format
This is actually really good!
Sublime film, sublime book.
Well done! I must admit I clicked on with a sneer in my heart, but
Lol I’m glad it ended up impressing you!
Wow, this trailer is great. You’ve done the movie justice.
Great modern take on an old classic.
Mrs Danvers frightened me😮
yeah just redo the trailer and pop these films into the theaters..no need for remakes or more junk to sift through, great trailer!
Great work.
This is a brilliant edit!
George Sanders plays quite the devious characters in this film and All About Eve. Also he kinda looks like Tarantino.
Somewhat spoiled by screen stretching.
Absolutely I agree Mr Goltz. I now wonder where I could resize the screen online myself.
Too bad the image is overwritten
Well done old boy well done.
Try Color only on spectacular scenery..Like the WIZARD of Oz!
Love it great job 👏
I have a DVD
THIS IS AMAZING
The brilliance of the story is that the title character doesn't even has a face. This is you call a story. Now studios don't have balls to make or write something like this. These are mouse hiding there faces with the same bull shit. NO CREATIVITY IS LEFT IN HOLLYWOOD !!!
Viewers are dumb too, Barbie should be a great movie but I am skeptical about its box office.
based on one of edgar allen poe's tales?
I see some similarities between this movie and The Oval Portrait
Ha ha! a "modern trailer" with the wrong screen ratio!
Super!
however "rebecca de winter" is a name from the book "the three musketeers"
Hate to disappoint you, but "The Three Musketeers" character is only ever referred to as "Milady de Winter" (or sometimes "Lady de Winter".)
Brilliant movie❤
Greatly done ✅
Very nice.
Which movie version of Rebecca is the best? 1940, 1997 or 2020? According to IMDB, Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca (1940), rated 8,1 stars out of 10.
i only watched 1940 versions and i so appreciated.
well done
Great job!
The best movie of mistery ❤
👍
Whow! Nicely done!
Thank you!
*Only knew about this through a parody on 'That Mitchell and Webb Look' - Hilarious* 💀👍
