The guns generally feel better in Source compared to GO. GO might have better balancing but the actual act of killing other players just feels good in Source. Just compare the Glock in 3 burst mode between Source and GO.

I love the sounds of these so much more. Like CS:GO got to competitive. That was the downfall. Its why the maps dont allow as much messing with the physics as in css

It would be blocking most of the screen if you were to prefer it to be more realistic. It is made that way to give players more vision. And it just looks nice tbh love it
essentially, the creator of counter strike (as a mod for half life), who I don't remember the name of, so we're going to call "Gooseman", was a lefty, who was then inclined to make left hand viewmodels. as obvious, most people are righties, so they did made the easy decision to, by default, mirror the viewmodels. this is also why in... I think 1.6, sometimes, even if there are mirrored viewmodels, the casings will come out the left side, and spray out to the right

If you dont have internet or bad isp and you only play with bots than best is 1- CS source 2- CS 1.6 Csgo bots are hella easy even on expert difficulty mode. CSS bots on expert difficulty has the same aim and reaction of global elite players or even better. I used to play css offline with bots all the time and bots are just devils.
