I'm with Nathan on this one. The truck is now competitive, maybe not class leading, but it is good enough. I think if people who are actually buying full size trucks would go drive one and compare it on price it would be difficult to choose. Nissan swung right to the middle of the market - V8 Crew Cab, 4x4, Comfort and tech availability.

It all depends on price. Its a nice truck and if its priced accordingly it will find customers. Will it be the most popular truck ever? No of course not but it doesn't has to be. Nissan can still make a pretty penny with how truck crazy people are right now by selling a lot less than Ford and the others, especially if they have fewer SKUs to worry about and focus all their energy on getting production costs down on the few they have.

They neglected to mention one of the most important advantages of a Titan, the 5-year/100k mile bumper to bumper warranty. It's the strongest truck warranty available from any manufacturer.

Couldnt agree more. Went from my 06 f150 to an 11 titan...now have a 2014 armada too...neither has left me stranded.
Everything Nathan said was correct, I always like his point of view. The Titan has its buyers, it's the people that prefer longevity over all that fancy crap that comes in the other brands.

Devin Bender: The Nissan Titan captures only 2% of the full-size market, but it is not 0.1%. I have worked on and driven all of the new models from the other companies, and as the underdog, Nissan really needed to try hard when they worked on the 2020 and I think they’ve done a great job.
I never owned a Nissan Titan full size truck, but I did own a 91 Hardbody. I had it for 10 years and not one issue with it. I also owned a 2005 Frontier. I had it for 12 years and again not one issue with it. My experience with Nissan and trucks has been very good!
had my '16 Frontier for going on 4 years now, no issues still love it. would love a Titan but choose not to pay that much for a vehicle.

Lol, the Titan is freakin awesome, VALUE proposition, its different, the locking rear diff, fantastic interior, and simplicity in the engine.
The below 4mph locking rear diff is a joke...
It's a mid cycle refresh. They did as much as any other truck maker does on a refresh.

And they have something special about all of them. New shiny tech. Amazing power and performance. Multiple trim and engine options. Even hybrids.
Nissan. 1 middle of the road engine. Middle of the road performance and no real great interior features for a similar price.

I own a Titan XD with the gas motor. I would have opted for the diesel but it just wasn’t that good. The extra cost did not justify the loss of payload and the increase in fuel economy was minimal. I regularly tow a trailer that weighs loaded about 8,000 pounds and the gas engine pulls it with no problems. The XD was always a bigger truck with a heavier frame, brakes and gearing so why are you representing it to be a “new” development. I travel with others who own 3/4 and one ton trucks and yes, they can pull more but the ride quality suffers dramatically when not towing, which is at least 80% of the time. I use my truck as my every day ride and they use their wives car when not towing. Nissan fixed what was lacking, an outdated infotainment system and lack of an opening roof. Personally, the seven speed works fine for my application but I suppose the nine speed might be smoother or more fuel efficient. As far as engine choices, pickup trucks are supposed to be V8’s, why would anyone want something smaller unless it’s just a commuter vehicle. The 5.6 is a killer engine and it’s reliable. Every job requires the right tool and bigger isn’t always the right choice. Stop trying to compare this truck with others that are built for a different requirement. It is very good for its intended purpose, reliable and very comfortable. I think Nissan engineers got this right, unfortunately it is always compared to something designed to do a different job. And why is a ten speed better than a nine speed, or eight or seven? Very simplistic reporting. Truck buyers are very loyal and you build loyalty one truck at a time. I’ve owned many Nissan trucks and have gotten good service from them all. My experience is they are more reliable than all except maybe Toyota.

I have a 2016 XD I came from Ram, really love the Nissan does everything the ram did. Being a slightly bigger truck than the Ram it still steers and operates well. I have towed and hauled a lot with it too, no issues. I agree slightly on the multiple engines because I favor the new diesel half tons for fuel economy. 12 to 15 mpg in this day an age is ridiculous for any manufacturer.

And most Rams I have looked at in the price range only have the 8”. So you pay for that extra 3” if you can find it.

It’s all just a pissing contest when it comes to “class leading.” All of the trucks are going to exceed what most people need of them. It really comes down to if you want mid size, full size, or HD. They did enough for people that want something other than the big 3. However, they should’ve used the Warrior styling if they wanted to catch more eyes.

Yup I agree with Nathan on this. When I was looking for a truck I wanted something different and the Titan was the truck that I chose. I looked at a new Ram but u see those trucks everywhere along with GM and fords. The Titan is an honest great truck n I’m sticking with it. The big 3 trucks are great but I like supporting the underdogs

For as many people that I've heard looking for the diesel, they sure didnt buy it when it was available. I was kinda hoping for a larger fuel tank, but in a way I got that with a 9 speed tranny. Nice refresh...Roman you Ram lover...I really like that this engine doesn't have the cylinder deactivation crap or V6 turbo, or garbagio mild hybrid...just a good V8!
You're surprised they didn't do more on this refresh? I'm surprised they did as much as much they did honestly. Nissan historically is VERY slow to update their trucks. Look at the first gen Titan, that body style was in production for 11 years, (2004-2015) only receiving minor updates. Look at the Frontier, the current body style has been in production in North America for a ridiculous 15 years (2004-present) again with only very minor updates along the way.
This nissan refresh is the most significant mid-cycle truck update I have ever seen Nissan roll out. I honestly was expecting the truck to remain unchanged for at least 2-3 more years before they touched anything on it.
Don't be surprised that the new 9 speed tranny finds it's way into the next gen Frontier where they sell a lot more volume. Roman is correct, to become a F-150 killer you have to spend a crap load of money. Let's face it, the US craves US trucks. No foreign manufacturer will ever become number 1 for truck sales in the domestic US market. However, i think the strategic investments into new truck tech, the tranny and the updated/decent styling will allow Nissan to stick around for some future updates. I would not be totally surprised if there will be some additional power train configs when the new Frontier comes out and Nissan makes a bigger splash for both trucks.

I think it is actually a huge advantage for truck buyers that they keep a body style unchanged for years. In the long term, parts are more available and economical the more model years parts are compatible with. Especially for (used) body parts this is important. That used to be an advantage with GM pickups when the body style was unchanged for a decade or more. In more recent years, GM updated the body style more frequently. That might be appealing to someone who replaces a vehicle every few years, but someone who keeps it much longer, it gets more expensive for parts in the long run.
They did the quick refresh because they are not selling.
Nissan keeps it simple with their truck lineup. No wild swings in styling, engine choice ect. I can appreciate that. I just hope they don't destroy the Frontier when they restyle it. Its an awesome truck for the price.
Actually really like what Nissan has done with the Titan. I have an 18 F150 with “class leading” features, but unfortunately you forget about those when it is constantly in the shop. Nissan is giving what most people want in upgraded transmission, safety features and interior quality, and hopefully preserving the honest, reliable and affordable qualities of the previous versions. Will be replacing my F150 in the next year and will be considering a Titan for the first time.

What issues have you been having?
USMC Vet 4x4 Vacuum hub issues that started under 5k miles- parts replaced then but still having issues almost 2 years later (dealer cant seem to confirm problem). Also electronics issues- USB hubs inactive and replaced less than 10k miles, trailer wiring harness water intrusion problems when it rains (truck thinks trailer connected, then disconnected etc), rear parking sensors inactive- still waiting on parts, not to mention multiple recalls. Recently has started the cold engine rattle on startup as well(3.5 ecoboost). It hasnt left me stranded, but the most frustrating part is every time it has an issue it is generally a 2 week wait to get into dealer, then a full day without a vehicle, then parts always on backorder- usually another few weeks. Its a nice truck, tons of power, but in the 2 years Ive owned it there hasnt been much problem free time. Also it seems that the underbody components - frame, rear diff etc... are rusting horribly for their age- looks like a 10 year old truck underneath the aluminum body.
@@adamharriger5193 I had to lemon my 2017 f150 after 64 days in the shop. Huge problems with electronics and transmission. Looking at a titan as a possibility too for the first time really.
Michael S It seems crazy how many people I know who have the same issues and yet everyone thinks Ford trucks are superior. Ive owned 3 Rams and didnt have as much shop time combined as this F150. Mine is a lease and cant wait to get out of it.

I’m not a Nissan fan....that said, I think Nathan is in touch on this with buyers out there. They did a GREAT job on this refresh.
Also, this now becomes an option for those who only want a V8 with updated for and finish. I wouldn’t look at Nissan before, and even as a non buyer they still got my attention.

I really like this new Titan and I'm in the market to buy my first truck next year. I think Nissan did just enough to bring the interior up to today's standards without going overboard on gadgetry. The PRO-4x is awesome!

We love our 05 titan. It has 304,000 miles. Still running but I do have a high idle problem right now. Still been a very good good truck to us.
@@huckwild2818 Clean the throttle body, check the MAF sensor, and after cleaning the throttle body, have the throttle body go thru a relearn procedure. It helped on the vehicles I have had in the pass when my idle was high or low or fluctuating between high and low.
I have owned 3 Titans 2005 had 160,000 miles on it trading it traded for a 2007 put 316,000 miles on it. The guy I sold it to still drives it and now I own a 2018 Pro4 and love it.
I think it’s a great update.
The one thing I would love to see is a long bed crew cab option on the 1/2 ton.

I have an 18 pro 4x and I love it. The endurance engine is bullet proof, the 4x4 is amazing, and it’s drives great. Even with the 7 speed I am still get 420 miles to the tank. I just use mobile one synthetic advanced fuel economy and when I am driving in the city and highway I keep my tires at 40 PSI.
Why not keep your tires at the pressures advertised on your placard sticker?

In about 12 years, at current trajectory, we’ll have 43-45 speed transmissions, which are of course, much better than the 40-42 speed transmissions. Sheesh.

I would say a 9 or 10 speed trans is ideal. Stick with it and make it bulletproof

They just dropped 230 MILLION to make the latest changes. Hopefully sales increase so they can add more power trains.
I’ve owned 3 Hardbodys, 3 Frontiers and currently have a 13 Titan. They have all served me well.
My parents still have a 01 Supercharged Frontier that was bought new. 315,000 miles. Original engine and transmission.
I have a 2018 Titan XD Cummins, and I love my truck, but the new upgrade in my opinion is a huge difference and I want one.
You'd have to give up the cummins though.
USMC Vet diesels are going to die eventually, the EPA will kill them
JMGaming12 contrary to belief, and you can look it up, but the way diesels are now operated, with the DPF, it runs cleaner than gasoline.

I like the updates, but I really can’t say much more until I see how the new transmission holds up over time.
Bought my 04 new, after 192k miles still drives like new, about 1200 in mechanical repairs in 15 years.
All it takes is for one to actually drive a Titan for them to see and feel the trucks legitimacy
Had one traded it in it sucks, parts fell off. It was a 2018 pro4x loaded. Poor quality

@@josecq3 I got rid of it for jeep, couldn't be more happy now. The tech in the Titan is old and it drives rough, when I took it on trails it just couldn't hold up. Its resale value is also crap. Worst truck ever. Mpg codnt get past 14.4 mpg. Had power, but just a over all peace of crap. My friend works for nissan and it is the vehicle that has been traded back in the most and the most in the service shop getting stupid stuff fixed. Its garbage. Check your resale, its not worth anything compared to similar equipt trucks

@@scott8238 Its far from it. The front bumper started coming off on one side, the grill wasnt aligned with rt, the door plastic trims, one came of why driving on a normal road. The front plastic trim peaces around the fender was bowing and pealung with off, mpg was always stuck at 14.1 no matter how conservative I drove. The passenger seat mechanic made noises when used. The cab ratted like a old car. And as far as aftermarket parts, there wasn't much for a regular Titan. And the clear coat started chipping on the rear quarter panel. Older nissan where good and that's why I bought mine. After 10,000iles I got rid of the crap truck
I'm very happy with my 2007 Nissan Titan. Still running strong today. I like the Titan so much I just bought the new 2019 Titan Pro 4X. It's a great truck.
I have driven the F-150, the GMC 1500 and I owned a 2004 Titan. I think they are all good trucks for different reasons. I think that Nathan hit it on the head. People who are looking for the V-8 and don't want to pay for the big names, the Titan falls into a part of the truck market that appeals to a solid truck without a huge price tag. I think that Nissan has potential to rebound in sales if the price is right and the fuel economy catches up to be competitive with the others. I loved my old Titan. Never had any problems with that engine.
The refresh may allow them to take some sales away from Toyota as I’m sure a lot of people cross shop those 2 instead of with the American brands

Toyota overpriced their vehicles a lot. They do have issues just like everyone else, and they try to cover them up like anybody else. However, they price their vehicles like if they were Acura or something.
My 2006 has 350,xxx on the clock and still pulls a horse trailer almost every weekend I will only own a Titan from this point forward

I agree I think TFL would be better with out him . If its not ford , chevy or dodge he's against it I have a 2017 titan sl and love my truck. everthing still works on the truck and you can just feel its a solid truck

I also agree with Nathan on this one as well. I have a 2018 Titan Platinum Reserve and it is my daily driver, 58 miles daily to and from work. All of my miles are highway to and from and I average 18 MPG. I see a boost in power when I use premium fuel, however, it is nice to pay less for regular. I like imports, and my favorite brand has been Toyota, basically Landcruisers, I have had seven to date. Nissan got my business because of good incentives, and after one year and 16000 miles, not one issue,, and knowing I have a 5 year 100,000 mile warrant builds confidence. This is my first truck and first Nissan, although I have had two QX56 units. Why is a ten speed trans better, and do Fords get better gas mileage. Also, the 12 inch screen on the RAM is not on all of them, and not all is usable for navigation. Please note that when I am driving, viewing the screen is a distraction, so a larger screen with lots of stuff can be a distraction and unsafe. When I need NAV, I count on voice instructions, so a larger screen is of little use. More and bigger is not always better. And to close, I drive this truck because I like big, with a big V8, why would I buy a 5 to 6 thousand pound truck with a V6 or turbo charged v4 in a full sized truck. Also, I don’t like to see myself coming a going so Fords RAM, and Chevy are just too common, nothing special.
I bought a ‘17 Titan in Jan. 2019 and was going to route of a Ram until I drove the Titan. I was an F350 owner for 14 yrs... the 6.0 and I had very little bad to say about mine. When shopping for a replacement Toyota was just not obtainable even used because of the cost. Inflated. Yes, the Tundra had many other creature comforts and design flaws but I digress. When we drove the Titan it was quite impressive. Front and rear seat comfort. V8 but a smaller package. Ride. Drivetrain history in the Gen 2, and so on. I am a bit disappointed in the lack of changes but I think between cost/ quality/ lifetime of use/ warranty/ build.... Nissan is an understated truck.
I just recently purchased a used certified 2017 Nissan Titan and I absolutely love it. I've owned a Ford F-150 before, driven a Silverado 2500 for work a lot, and rented various other trucks. I think Nissan makes a great, solid truck that's not going to cause anyone to take out a second mortgage. I still love my Fords, but I now prefer Nissan. Forget Chevy and Dodge. Those trucks are junk!
Depending on how it rides, I will be trading in my 2017 Titan for either a 2020 XD or Non XD. Imo, enough was done for me to update my truck. The engine power/tq was enough but the transmission is a little lacking, so hopefully with the 9spd and the different rear end ratio, it will be smoother and feel more engaging. Towing isnt class leading but if you're gonna tow more then 10k lbs, just go a 3/4 Ton and if more then 15k lbs get a 1 Ton. Payload as well, 1500 lbs (XD is close to 2k lbs) isnt class leading but is enough for every day use. If you need more then that get a 3/4 or 1 Ton truck.

I agree I got 18. Its fine out on open highway but not that smooth around town. Hopefully they worked out all technical problems. I've had mine in shop a lot lately.

Just bought a Titan XD 4x4 Diesel and man oh man that thing is a tank . I really like it it’s super comfortable and it has plenty of power .
I really wished Nissan would have made this truck like this when they first redid the model. I would have bought this style instead of my 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 with the 6.0 gasser. I miss my 05 titan and wanted a 2016 titan with the Cummins but the dealer wanted 65k for it and wouldn’t move the price what so ever. Went across the street to the gmc dealer and bought my 2500 for 45k.
Same deal except I went across the street and got a Super Duty 6.2L gas (literally same day). Wouldn't budge on price, service department knew nothing about them. Family still misses my 2010 but the Super Duty is head and shoulders better.
Greg Davis I think what’s what hurting them the most. It’s bad when the other dealerships will lower their prices. They wanted 57k for my truck and I got them down to 45k.

I agree with Nathan, as well. The "choices" of turbo engines by other manufacturers are not real choices. The V8 is the way to go. For the right price, this truck will be well worth it.

I had a 2012 Titan and traded it for a 2017 Titan, that I recently traded for a 2019 Titan. I used to own Fords and Chevy, there is a reason I drive a Nissan. I'm with Nathan on this one, Roman's Dodge wasn't in the shop this week so he's feeling bold!

For me anyway, I don't want a top end truck, but I also don't want a crappy engine. To me the Nissan makes sense. Like, in 2016 I chose a pretty basic Ford F-150 XLT with the 2.7 V6 because it felt the most powerful and best driving. If the brand I was into had a great V8 at the time, that's great, too. I'm not into the latest and the greatest. I want a solid honest truck that will last.
I enjoyed my old Titan and love the look of the new one. Ford and ram give you power train options but Nissan offers the most coveted setup, 4door with 4wd, a V8 and you get a lot with a Nissan for less money if your going for the basic power train. I think they will increase sales.

I like the upgrades. The Titan is a unique truck that stands out in a crowd. Nissan and Toyota will never sell like the big 3, but they make nice, simple, and reliable trucks. Most buyers will never use these half-ton trucks to their full potential anyway. Plus, specs/numbers on paper are much different than real world application as the Ike Gauntlet has shown. If I remember correctly, the Titan held its own on the drag race to 60mph in a previous episode.
Lastly, I love the sand color! I wish every truck had a similar color. It hides the dirt so much better than my black F150!
Nathan is right, I have owned just about every pickup made and I have had 3 Titans.Best pound for pound truck for the money all mine were pro 4x.My 2014 ram was my favorite but it cost a bit more than the Titans.My new rig is a gladiator rubicon and I love this thing if it holds up well it will be my favorite of all time
I have a 2017 Pro4x and I love this truck. Yes the tech was not that great but for me it was enough. The truck stands out eveywhere I go. It does everything well and is great off road. This refresh will help a ton sales wise. All the other 3 are good trucks....but god damn they are eveywhere.
I’m definitely going to drive one, but I’m in a lease with a F-150. Just got into it this past summer. I wonder if Nissan will want to move these so quickly if they would do something with my lease. I’m probably dreaming, but worth a shot. This Titan is great!
I'm with Nathan on this one as well. With most folks reliability matters most, and Nissan and Toyota has the American car manufacturers beat on this one.
I really wish you guys would do more long term reports to show how these vehicles hold up past the 100-150k mile mark. Initial quality is great. But, in the real world people don't trade their vehicles up as soon as the warranty expires....
I have owned 2 Titans so far. Superstorm Sandy took my 2006 from me, which i absolutely loved and hated to see it go away on a flatbed from being flooded. I went out looking for new trucks and ended up with a 2012 Titan which I still have to this day. Nissan had amazing offers if you lost your vehicle from the storm and I walked out of the dealer with a brand new 2012 Titan SV for 28K. I think what is lost on many people when they look at vehicles is the ease of do it yourself maintenance. I am a huge proponent of doing my own maintenance and have to say that i am fully impressed with the simple things on these trucks like a drain and fill plug on the front and rear differentials, transfer case etc, which makes fluid changes a breeze. It's the little well thought out things like this that save the do it yourself guy hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the life of their vehicle. Are bells and whistles nice in a vehicle... absolutely, but for the practical truck guy who is looking for a solid built, no frills, DEPENDABLE truck that he can own for many years to come, it'll be hard to pull me away from a Titan when the time comes for a new truck. People like what they like, and until a Titan lets me down, i'll be driving one as long as they are around.

I have a 2005 Nissan titan with 266000 miles the engine runs strong with no leaks the transmission is still strong with no leaks 4x4 and the locking diff work every time I need it will definitely buy another nissan titan in the near future
I love my Titan and Armada. Both are loaded 2015 models. I got a lot of vehicle for a great price
Nissan's real issue that they're fighting is a lot of customers are brand loyal especially when it comes to trucks and those brands are now creating engines for all customers so you can be brand loyal and pick what you want very few people will look at all the other options and think No Nissan is better than all of the rest.

I bought the original 2004 titan. I still have and drive it today with over 200,000 miles on it. Pull a trailer 5-6 days a week. Little work needed. Just maintenance wear and tear stuff. Hoses, starter, and fuel filter. Really has been a good truck to me. I will probably end up buying another titan once this one goes.
I was waiting for the Cummins Warrior. Now I think I'm going to go with the Tremor.
I currently have a 2015 Nissan Frontier and I just love it. Nissan/Datsun always made dependable vehicles. This Titan looks great. I would love to trade up but $50k for a truck is Ridiculous. Even if I had money rolling out of both pockets I would never pay that much for a truck. A truck is made to work and I throw stuff in my truck bed. Soil, rocks, plywood, and if I’m hunting I put a deer in the back. I’m not going to pay that price just to mess it up. If I had to choose a newer truck. I would pick the Titan , proven dependability. So I agree with Nathan, if Nissan can be cheaper then Ford or dodge by $10k it would improve sales
I think Nathan is on point with all of his comments. It might not be class leading in a lot of segments, but you should have mentioned the warranty, because it's class leading in that. It's a great value and the comfort is right there with Ram and you did talk about how the power is there. Nissan has been making great trucks for a very long time, and this continues in that tradition. I bought my 2017 Titan after driving every other truck in the class and went with the Titan for comfort, reliability (because I previously owned a Nissan Juke and my wife has a Sentra) as well as cost and that amazing warranty! The drive was pretty darn smooth as well.

I'm looking at a full size right now to replace my Frontier which I love I was out the door at $12000 less than I would have spent for same from any other brand three years ago. I also have an old xterra that has 260,000 miles on it never had anything major go wrong with it. I'm waiting until I can go drive one of the new Titans to make my decision. Nissan is continuing to do what they need to do for their vehicles, gain loyalty by providing a solid vehicle at a solid price. It's hard to turn away from Nissan once you see and feel what you get for your money. Toyota is just a name, Ford and GM are loyalty based, and Ram has become a status symbol. And Roman you are wrong GM does not have a selectable rear locker in their full size trucks.
Nissan always gets dumped on by people who have never owned one. I've had my 2008 Titan for 12 years. In that time I've replaced the front wheel bearings and the radiator. Tech isn't my thing. Longevity and reliability is what's important to me. If my Titan ever dies I'd be hard pressed to buy another brand.
He must forgot that GM been using the same old tried and true g80 mechanical lockers for damn near 40 years (and i happen to like em which GM started that trend) the others gone electronic except 'yota whose still uses a limited slip differential electronic at that lol
I love Japanese trucks, they're less expensive and has plenty of stuff. the tundra is a great truck but it does need a good interior update that's why the Titan is perfect for me, especially this new Titan! It has plenty of luxury for me. And it's less expensive then the American trucks.

I guess you can call me a fan boy, but I currently have a 2007 and pull a 9k camper all day with it without any issues, I was going to by the new XD with the Cummings in 2020 . I will still be buying the XD in 2020. If most people would just drive the truck they would buy it.
Roman complains the Titan doesn't have a class leading 12" touch screen but fails to mention it has a class leading warranty.
Nathan, thanks for sticking up for the budget friendly and super reliable Nissan Titan. I have a 2007 and the 5.6 liter drive train is a beast. I do everything with this truck. If I were in the market for a new truck the Titan would definitely be on my short list to consider. But the reality is that I am planning on keeping the one I have until the wheels fall off. Keep up the great show guys. You guys are informative and entertaining.

Because it´s a Nissan. They expect more everytime. Nissan did a good job refreshing ext, int and the infotainment.
When the diesel left Nissan so did I after my XD is done in 10 years I won’t be getting another Nissan unless it’s got the diesel or a hybrid motor of some sort.
I completely agree. I own a 17 XD pro4x w/Cummins as well. I am really disappointed w/Nissan right now dropping the diesel.

Raymond Eddy a few weeks ago I 24 on a fairly flat section of high from DC to Pittsburgh so a trip about 240 miles @70 plus mph for most of it. My towing average with my work trailer of 3000lbs in mixed traffic of 200 miles a week average I get 12-14. Once I got 16 for. Few weeks but it was on a old route.
It wasn’t Nissan dropping the engine, it was Cummins dropping the engine. You can’t sell an engine if the Cummins doesn’t make it anymore. I look for Nissan to come back with an in house Diesel engine before too long.
I love my Titan ! I have owned Titans since 2005 I now own a 2018 and love it I have never had a problem from any of my trucks I drive around 25 K miles a year and never had any failures . I look forward to buying the 2020 model with the panaramic sun roof !

I'm going to sound like a chevy defending fan boy here but class leading is all marketing hype. Good price for modern tech and good interior I'm actually impressed. Nissan was smart and is offering what sells. 4x4 crew cabs.

I agree with NATHAN. As for that 12 inch infotainment screen in the ram I think it looks ridiculous. It's too big. Nobody needs a big screen tv in their truck.

The Nissan Titan is a 5.6 not a 6.2 that's stil slower.

I don’t understand the desire for giant touch screens in cars. My current vehicle has an 8 inch touch screen and that’s perfectly fine for Apple CarPlay and whatever settings I have to change within the vehicle. If car infotainment systems had the same capabilities as phones, or were used the same way, I could understand; they are not.
I love my 06, 375K miles and still going strong! Just wish they had folding mirrors and one of them fancy tailgates on the new one. I don't really care, Im still buying another Nissan.

I think Roman expectations are way too high? Not everyone wants an unreliable Ford, GM, or Ram!! Plus, paying all that money for sub par quality.
10 speed is a PITA alot of times.....especially in the city.
I usually lock out 7 to 10.
On the highway I've done tests in 9th and 10th and see basically no difference in mpg.
Not so sure a 10 speed is necessary
My last Chev...a 15 with the 6.2L/8 speed was a complete POS.
My current 17 F150 with the 3.5 (I also had an 11) hae been pretty much trouble free but I do have the cold off throttle rattle.
Not sure how durable it's going to be long term.
I like the Titan,they addressed things that needed to be addressed but the V8 is just ok,hopefully the 9 speed helps it in performance and mpg.
Nissan truck warranty is incredible too.
I'll definitely be looking at the Titan in a couple years when I'm ready to buy again.
I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences with Nissan. Had a Altima, a extra cab hardbody pickup and now a 2011 Frontier SL crew cab. The Frontier runs like a champ. I do the regular maintenance on it and it does the job. I personally love the look and options on the 2020 redesign. If I could afford one, I’d buy it in a heart beat.
My '17 Titan is my 3rd Nissan truck never had major issues with any of them. I big reason I bought a Titan over a F-150 or Sierra/Silverado is I didn't want to see my same truck 15 different times on my way home. The value of the Titan is also unbeatable, I got my fully loaded Pro 4X for $10k less than a comparable Sierra, and the Titan came with a 3 yr bumper to bumper & lifetime power train warranty

I owed a 2006 Titan until 2018(177K Miles) when it was totaled. Great truck only 1 issue rear diff after 175K miles. I would recommend anyone to buy a Titan.
I'm completely satisfied with my 2017 S.L. Turbo Cummins. No problems with the 6 speed Isan? Transmission. Bought the truck specifically to tow a 7.5K T.T. It's been a perfect match.
