Bidets are so useful and practical, it properly cleans you up unlike toilet paper, its cheaper, more effective and if you have diarrhea it's also a great way to clean yourself, i mean $hit happens sometimes. Great video and great idea
Genius!
Finally someone with a bidet. I am definitely installing a bidet in my van :)
I think it is one of the best features :). Thanks for watching Anne.
I'm definitely trying this out! I love my bidet and I don't want to have to compromise for living in a van :/
Thanks for watching Lauren.
LOL the toilet mod is great but "COLD WATER" would be quite a wake up for the morning ritual. The Van is GREAT!
lmao pun intended. you are the first video i have seen that has a bidet in their campervan. good job and wonderful innovation. i dont think i will have one, but if i did i know how to put it together now.
We have bidet’s on all of our toilets. We are going to mount one on our travel trailer toilet. Most countries we’ve visited use bidets. Here in the U.S. of A. we still wipe our asses.
The bidet install is genius!
Thank you. I can confirm that it works very well. :)
I’ve had a bidet for a couple years now and I agree it’s hard to live without! Totally saves on expensive wasteful toilet paper also. On your cargo box you need to use some cap nuts much lower profile than those knobs
Kenneth Lang thanks for watching and for the recommendation on the cap nuts.
i just finished watching ALL of your touring van build video. you have done some amazing stuff in your build. there is alot that could have been avoided like removing and replacing stuff when you added things. but.... you did a great job, your videography was great the sound was excellent. i enjoyed watching each and every one of them. for a heat shield on my own van build i am going to be using carbon fiber felt. its thin and you can put a blowtorch on the other side and still lay your hand on the felt. its kinda pricey, but i think it will be worth it. put a layer of felt then a layer of reflectix, then the subfloor or the wall or cieling paneling. the heat would be reflected both ways. i am not sure how good it will do, but i plan on doing it anyway and will let you know how it does when i finally get a van. my go fund me isnt going well so i dont know when i can get one, but will continue trying. anyway good job
Thank you Taraz. Yeah doing a good van build takes a lot of thinking time.
I would gladly pay 1000 or more bucks for a portable bidet for my camper van..
I was doubtful when I did a search for 'van living with a bidet' and happy to find your video. How complicated was it to dis-assemble the bidet and then make it work with your setup? Did you just use superglue to attach it ?
Glad you found it. It was quite simple. No glueing needed. It fit perfectly.
Astor jajajja
Really nice build
Thank you for watching Astor.
Nice build! :)
Thank you Michelle!
Thanks for the bidet hack. I have a travel trailer. Do you think I can instal just the bidet parts to the seat? Unfortunately, I have two (a nice heated seat and a cheap one like you have) but just put in storage. I agree, the best thing in the camper...after the espresso machine!
Thanks for watching. You should be able to install one on your seat.
