Born and raised here in Sealy. My grandfather Frank Krampitz owned and ran the Texas Theater. He also owned and ran the Sealy Grist Mill. It was where Steinhauser is built now.
Hi there, Sealy native. Yes, the small buildings at Haynes Mattress Factory were for cotton storage. They were separated in case of a fire, not all the materials would be lost.
My hometown! Crazy how big the town is getting and very quickly at that too. I haven’t lived there in years. Currently living in Bellville, Tx. The town’s school rival. lol
Yup! Someone just brought it to my attention via email and I can't believe I missed that, so it's been cut out of the episode. No Fake News on This Small Town..
I almost bought a house there butttttt after living there for 4 years it’s way too racist I’m a Mexican older woman who has dated black men & lots of places there treated me differently after 2yrs of thinking I knew people once I started dating a black man they completely changed up on me I’m back home in Galveston
I absolutely love Galveston and many friends there, it is such a moderate atmosphere with beautiful people of many races . . . They really made great progress, and I hope they continue to reach their potential. I would live to own an old building there and start my own business.
LOL yeah, I had a couple other people just bring this to my attention that it was not the theater showcased in this video, so I just cut that entire segment out. TH-cam will have it updated here in a few hours, so you won't be able to see that part anymore.#FakeNews 😂😭
@@ThisSmallTown still, you did a good job, bro! I pass through Sealy whenever I deliver to Rosenberg,Tx. I always wonder what the town looked like outside of my limited view (hwy 36)! #salute
The only thing I know about Sealy is back in the '90s, their high school football team was King.

Oh wow, that's some great history ties to the town.

I learned a lot about Sealy, thank you.
Great video !!!!! Thank you !!!!! 🙂
You're welcome and thanks for watching.
I lived in sealy for a few years when I was young. I used to love walking to the mcds to play the Nintendo 64.
Lol I remember doing that too in Houston and also at Walmart.
Enjoy your work
Thank you
This is also the birthplace of NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson
You forgot to mention the stock yards they use to have,
Spot on with the Mayberry reference.
It's nice out there
The railroad had to move up to Bellville because Sealy flooded too easily. Even today, it tends to flood a bit.
Hey, enjoyed this episode as well. That house for sale, is selling for $829K. Built in 1927. Looking forward to the next episode.
Thank you and thanks for looking up the price up!
Cute town.
Agreed. 😎
The Texas theater he was arrested at is in Oakcliff area of Dallas not in Sealy

Do you visit small towns in other states or just Texas??
Hello Peggy. I'm starting my way from Houston and working my way out ward, so eventually I'll leave Texas.
@@ThisSmallTown That would be great!! I would love to see some small towns from other states!! God bless you on your journey and be safe on the road!!
Oh wow I moved here in 2020.

I’m back home in Galveston
That's unfortunate, but I would definitely choose living in Galveston over Sealy.
