if not organic...just make sure you wash them well and fruit with peels peel them....i buy my veggies and fruit by the case from Costco....alot cheaper from there...happy juicing all
Another good one Joe!! I lost 20lbs in one month using your methods. Can you share the links Alex mentioned about the Dirty Dozen and Clean 15 from EWG? What are your suggestions for juicing when on a vacation? Keep up the great work!!
I drank juice about 4 times per day. I would juice enough veggies and fruit for two days. I cut out all dairy, most carbs and red meat. I juiced all the normal stuff like apples, carrots, kale, strawberries, blueberries, celery, kiwi, cucumbers, ginger and I once did shallots and a jalapeno (not together though). I found that during the morning and day time mixing 80% veggie juice with 20% fruit juice took the bite out the veggies...then I had only fruit for dinner for something sweet.
Thank you for making these videos and sharing all these tips and suggestions. I'm going to do my annual juice fast for the second time. The first time I did one for 30 days and lost 27 pounds. This time around I am going to definitely do 30 days but will try for 60. The last time these videos were not available so I am so excited to do it this time with this support. I plan to watch a video a day for support and encouragement. Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me my health back.
Your intestines consume 60% of your bodys energy, so giving them a vacation frees up your body to repair itself instead of processing foods from your stomach. Juicing gives you loads of healing power. Hope it answers your question and good luck with your juicer.
isent it better to blend as it keeps the fiber in where a juicer is separating the juice from the fiber cuz I blend all my fruits and veggies not juice am I doing it wrong yes it makes thicker but it's like a milk shake instead of just juice I find it helps keep me full
I also ate small snacks of almonds, peanuts, fish and chicken if I got hungry. Salads were great too and if you cut out the sugary, fattening and thick dressings they would fill me up. A good rule of thumb is "any dressing you can't see through is probably no good for you".
Anyone can grow veggies in their backyard. People think it takes a lot of time but it really doesn't if you do it right. You get what everyone wants: Non GMO, no chemicals, and highly nutritious veggies.
I've recently started but I have a "Magic Bullet". So far I'm loving it. My question is, is there any reason I shouldn't eat/drink the pulp from blending vs just juicing?
Pulp from a blender, juice from a juicer. Pulp plus juice = a smoothie. That's great for the microbiome. Some folks find too much fibre difficult to digest. You can use a blend of juice and reintroduce a bit of the pulp, but maybe not all. Whatever works for you.
I saw the video Fat Sick and Nearly Dead and I want to reboot my system. I have a question, what do you think about using/drinking Water Kefir during the reboot? I heard that it also helps your system but I want to hear from you. Thank you
kale near me is $3.79 a bunch....never seen it for 99 cents. i live in Canada. produce is expensive here because most of it is shipped in from California, Texas and Mexico. the growing season here is about 3 months' long.
Kale grows great in cold climates. Alternatively, buy kale powder and rehydrate it; likewise, beet powder. Or just use cabbages, they're pretty well as good and some varieties even grow through the winter - kale is a relative, and withstands a lot of cold blasts. If you look up lists of veggies that thrive in the cold, there are many you'll find great for juicing. If you get a dehydrator of the box shaped variety, you can dry your own veggies to a powder in the growing season, for winter use.
Same here. I live in northern Norway. Almost nothing grows this far inside the Arctic Circle. One pineapple in my local shop costs nearly 7 dollars. I'd be broke if I juiced.
I have the Philips centrifugal... it's a breeze to clean, as it has a patent centrifuge design. Alternatively, use a masticating juicer. The centrifugal kind (like the one in the video) juices those "high water content" items quickly, but many times one wants leafy greens etc. for which a masticator is better.
A Breville Juicer is used in the video. I use a Champion masticating juicer, which is a real work horse. But Breville does leafy greens very easily and quickly. But check reviews on Amazon; some seem better than others. There's also some really good comparison videos on TH-cam by a company that sells all different kinds and has a terrific Q&A and FAQ section. Can't remember the name, but search for "Champion Juicer comparison."
hi can anyone help me with my question i have been juicing for 7 days and i have lost loads of weight. i dont wamt to loose anymore. only am doing this diet to help my skin. do i start having one meal a day??? while juicing. will it still help detox and clear my skin???
I don't think it's that expensive if you are going to Wal-Mart for your fruits and veggies... BUT then aren't you just poisoning yourself w chemicals? more harm than good? it's the whole foods organic shopping where money gets tight and it can drain your pockets...
If you don't juice, the veggies you eat "normally" will be no different. But there are safe levels for pesticides. The whole poison thing can get difficult - many veggies give a low yield if no chemicals are used, and we have to feed 7.5 billion people affordably. The safest answer is, grow your on microgreens organically, even indoors. TH-cam has a mass of videos on microgreens.

Thank you Joe for all your guidance and help.
I love this show! So motivating! Thank you for posting Joe!
i just bought this juicer at salvation army for 25 :D
You get a LOT of compost from the juice extracts….nice one.

These are great Joe! Very helpful! Keep them coming!

hello.. how you prep the beet so it doesn't smell? or you only peet and cut it?
i prefer to use a vitamix so that i get all the nutrients and fiber. Is that ok as well. If not ,why?

I love mango, carrot and orange juice for the morning!!!!!
Hello Matthew
How many times did you juice a day? What veggie and fruits did you juice?
Thanks
Joe is there a site for Australian Growers about the pesticides??
kale near me is $3.79 a bunch....never seen it for 99 cents.
i live in Canada. produce is expensive here because most of it is shipped in from California, Texas and Mexico. the growing season here is about 3 months' long.
Just grow it yourself.

Watermelon is also great to juice because it gives a lot of juice.
И через 50 лет Вас будут смотреть Джо , ваш опыт нужен людям 👌🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Oh, that sucks. I live in the usa. Well, the cheapest, and safest is just grow your own garden. It does not hurt to give it a try. :)
Cold press gives you max yield and health benefits on leafs Joe
It really isnt. I thought so too, since I do not have a job. Its actually really cheap. Just go to the produce section and buy kale which is 99 cents
where I can get that list that she mention at the beginning! Thanks
Thanks so much!!!!
yup thas the list thanks again!!
I have the same juicer but it is a pain in the ass to clean it.. I ordered a new one from philips, they claim it can be cleaned in 1 minute :)

Love it
Guys style channel over here!! Enjoy :) -Nic
what's the name of the juicer used here, pls?.

I'm surprised carrots aren't on this list!
even conventional (non-organic) are too costly for some of us.
Dead

Harpreet Pawar yes it will help!
how did your skin clear up?
what's any the updates with you from 9mths ago.. you still juicing? you said 7 days and you lost 'tons' of wait..
Most of the weight you lose in the first 7 days is water.
Do I have to do a juice fast or could I just juice twice a day and eat one meal
you can do it and have a meal :)
A lot of people juice as a supplement to their diet
cool
quit buying soda and frozen pizzas and other junk foods and they could afford
They yield high amounts of juice, but they're not the really nutrient dense vegies. So wouldn't it be better to pay more for more nutrients?
I thought that too. This can be expensive water with no great nutrient value if you go the cuke, melon and lettuce route.

Jesteś.
such a misleading title and context of a video.. pick high yield fruits??? thanks Einstein.
Low budget: use froze spinach.
This video is already dated in 2020. Crazy
yes! The movie is more than 10 years old now.. Joe started it all when juicing was not something anyone talked about..
What does your diet consist of now Joe? Look pretty chubby although way better than when you began
Paul Blissett your petty, mean, stupid.
First thing... you're kind of looking a bit chunky there joe... need more juicing I think?
George Adams Petty...stupid.....
