- Mallory Park Onboard (No adverts in video): So, in the First half I am chasing this guy and then around 4 mins into the video I add another camera angle so it's much more exciting to watch, he let's me go by and then he is chasing me. We had a few sessions together that day and had great banter afterwards.

Yes mate, no ABS , so was pushing the front on there to it’s limit. Still need to remove the ABS pump and have the brake cables going straight to the callipers

Absolutely Russ. He actually asked me to follow him a session before this one and by following him I learnt a lot and then on the last session it was a good little battle but he’s quicker on a older bike with no electronics, goes to show how much a rider can make a difference. I really admired that chap and that’s what it’s all about, learning from each other and appreciating each other and trying to keep them behind you lol
There is no way that speed reading is correct. 190 down the straight at mallory, 140 around gerards, never.

Exactly Gareth , that’s why I post these videos out at this time of the year to really get people motivated to get tinkering in the garage to get their bikes out soon. I think with covid rules lightened . This year is going to be epic for everyone

That’s true, I was fed up of the false neutrals, happened 3 times that day and it was entirely my fault because in the whole hurrying up with things I shifted half heartedly at points .

Hahaha, he’s a good rider , his suspension was letting him down out of the last corner otherwise he would have clearly taken me. You must visit this track , short circuit but there is so much you can learn in a minute or so cause you are doing lap after lap after lap about 15 in one session. , so you actually remember where you need to improve and work on it

What kind of bike is the #69 riding?
Its a 2008 Honda Fireblade 1000RR and mine's a 2015 Aprilia RSV4 RF :)

Yeah, he’s a proper rider, his suspension let him down, he’s just bought an R1 so he’ll pass me easily next year after the last turn where he was struggling to cleanly get out due to the suspension issues he was having. In the end the dual was superb. Love it
What set up are you using for your telemetry etc. Any help would be appreciated

Loved watching this mate, was flip-flopping in my PC chair on each corner, not been to Mallory since possibly 2008/2009
Wow. You are a proper Mallory veteran in a way , That was my third ever time there. You raise a very very good point there, I need to either refresh the engine or upgrade the valve springs at least . But it’s going to cost a lot . So might just try to see if I can survive this year at least but I have a few tracks booked so I really need to think seriously on the above two options .
@@ChasingTenths I sadly traded in the most fun bike I ever had after the gearbox being a pest.... I really wish I'd kept that bike now and just spent the money fixing it as I hated the Ducati I got to replace it.

What an earth were your electronics doing. Great riding though
Well spotted mate, The rear tyre was nearly gone and that made the electronics a bit mad whenever I was out of that particular corner before the bus stop. Even exiting Edwina corner the TC light came on and reduced power slightly every lap. the super modern electronics don't intervene as much as the 2015 bikes do , they are still in their infancy in those years, still getting to grips with the whole artificial intelligence concept.Thanks for watching mate

haha Tobias, I know it's frustrating to watch , but these videos were done last year within 2 months of each other , so it seems like the bike's auto Blipper issue has been playing for a long time , it's just me who is scattering the videos in the boring month of feb , but I assure you the issue is getting resolved :)
