I have twin boys, who are 6 years old at the time I write this. The older (by 1 minute) has loved this song since he was a baby, and often asks me to sing the song about "the city". He can sing it himself it now having heard it so many times, and listening to him sing about "two beaujolais" always brings a smile to my face. He sings it so quietly and beautifully, I always wonder if Glenn Shorrock ever thought the words he crafted so wonderfully 46 years ago would still be living in the hearts of a new generation now.
I saw them in 1981 and they still are doing their harmony just as good as then! Amazing! They are definitely among the best vocal groups ever! Thanks for the post!
