Another one who knows nothing about history. As for Poland and Czechoslovakia, the Czechs first deceitfully took Zaolzie from us when we were fighting for survival with the Bolsheviks. Later in 1938 we took back what was ours. The fact is that at that time it absolutely did not help us, but these lands were ours and if you call someone "bad" in this story, it's only Czechs.
From a strategic or rather modern point of view, it was stupid to join the partition of Czechoslovakia, but no one knew what would happen next.
The Czechs are to blame for letting themselves be deceived by the Western countries and let their lands with bunkers and border fortifications be taken from them without firing a shot.
If the war had broken out in 1938, perhaps half of Europe would not have been under communist occupation for almost half a century, and Germany would not have gone very far either. Blitzkrieg could stop where the Czech fortifications and the large and modern army that the Czechs had.
Instead of fighting, they preferred to be humiliated.
It's better to fight alone than to trust your allies too much.
Similarly, if we Poles had not been in alliance with the British or had not succumbed to their pressure, we would have had a mobilized army for defense in 1939, and not just a handful of soldiers, to quote the British and French; "don't annoy hitler"

As for Poland and Czechoslovakia. Zaolzia was firstly given to the Czechs in 1918 following the end of ww1. The Poles tried deceitfully taking it first in 1919, but failed. You were not involved in your war of imperialism and aggression against the Bollsheviks yet.
Later in 1938 you stole what was rightfully Czech land. The fact is that this land absolutely did not help you and was not yours. If you call anyone bas in history, it's the Poles. The Poles are to blame for their eternal imperialism and refusing to coorperate with their neighbours literally offering them protection if they just gave back all the land they stole.
If Poland had done so, perhaps Europe would never even have to endure 6 years of fascist occupation.
Oh yeah, Poland is one too talk lmfao. Literally chosing to ally with their worst enemy, the facsists, just to get a small piece of land. Pathetic.

Why would they ever risk sending their men to die to prevent a war that may not even break out?

5:54 Where did you get invasion from?
    1. Zaolzie had polish majority.
    2. Zaolzie as annexed by Czechoslovakia in 1919.
    3. Poland did not invade Czechoslovakia in 1938, an official letter was sent informing Czechoslovakia to give back the Zaolzie areas that it had previously annexed. Czechoslovakia signed documents confirming the transfer. There was no military conflict.
Was it taking advantage of a weakened Czechoslovakia? Yes, there is no point in arguing here.
And even now in Polish history books it is called an error. Quoting Lech Kaczyński, president of Poland 2005-2010, in 2009:
"Poland's participation in the annexation of Czechoslovakia in 1938 was not only an error, but above all a sin. And we in Poland can admit this error rather than look for excuses. We need to draw conclusions from Munich and they apply to modern times: you can't give way to imperialism."
And this is how normal countries work, they draw conclusions from history and forgive each other. However, a certain country called russia likes to brought up Zaolzie to justify its friendship with nazis.

As a Silesian I'd like to point out that the part of Czechoslovakia Poland annexed was actually majority Silesian (Silesians are Poles according to Poland, we are definately closer to Poles) and it was payback for the Czechoslovakian invasion in 1919. So it was, kind of, justified. Though if you ask me, Silesia should be simply Silesian

      Greatest L take lmfao.
      1. Silesians are a Germanic nationality. Silesian Slavs do not live there under that name for centuries by now lol
      2. The area was majority Czech, almost 90% actually
      3. The area was assigned to Czechoslovakia in 1918 by France, GB, Germany and the USA.
      4. It was Poland who invaded this area in 1919 but failed to take it.

@@dwarow2508 Wikipedia on Polish-Czechoslovak War. Quote: "On 23 January 1919 at 11:00 in Cieszyn Silesia Polish commander Franciszek Latinik and Czechoslovak officer Josef Šnejdárek met with a group of officers, consisting of British, French, Italian and U.S. representatives (at the request of the Czechoslovak party). The Polish side was given an ultimatum, that they evacuate the area to the Biała River in less than two hours. After the expiry of this period, the Czechoslovak army started its operations at 13:00 following its operational guidelines to seize Bohumín/Bogumin and Karviná/Karwina. From the east, at the same time, an attack was launched by the Italian legionnaire unit. The Czechoslovak army moved forward, and took Bohumín (at 16:00), Orlová/Orłowa and Karviná/Karwina. Cieszyn Silesia was taken over by Czechoslovak forces on 27 January 1919. Polish troops retreated to the Vistula river."

I am Silesian 2 and we were definitely more German than Polish and more Polish than Czech but democratically the region would rather join Czechia. And Poland sent in troops sooner than Czechia so it was a relief of occupation more than anything in 1919. Also, nothing is justified if you are helping the Nazis sorry but that is just insane to say that you can also find that Silesia wanted to join Czechia all the time in history and it was agreed by Poland many times that the whole of Silesia can be part of Czechia. It is true that the region was under Polish rule for some time but only in times of occupation or after a conquest war. But there are hundreds and hundreds of years of Czech and Silasian cooperation even tho now they cos of Polish assimilation there are not that many of us left.
