I have made 4-5 of these tables. All Shaker Designs. Love your explanation of the hand work. Old school. Thanks

Your approach to chiseling out the socket is the best I’ve seen. Methodical and not Willy-nilly. 🤙🏼😎

Matt, I just want to say...
    HE'S BAAAACK!!!
But seriously, I wanted to take a minute to tell you what a fantastic teacher you are. This is your forte. I loved your original stuff, but then you and Rob started to get goofy and did all sorts of stuff that caused me to lose interest. And then there was the van and all that. THIS is what I watch you for. You are damned good at teaching woodworking. You have a knack for both inspiring us to excel while reminding us that its OK if we fall short. You teach seriously with a sense of humor, and you know your stuff. And I, for one, am thrilled to see you back doing it again. Thank you.

Absolutely love this new project, I'm about to make a pair of night stands, and I am going to simply tweak your design - it's so elegant and balanced.
I have to say, I flinched hard at 5:16 when you cut toward your thumb! Please be careful, you're my favorite woodworker on youtube and I don't want you to have any downtime between videos due to injury!

glad you mentioned your marking knife with the statement that if you flip the blade it can work for right-handers as well.
I like that for two reasons:
    1. It's cool to have something that is set up initially for left-handed people - that never happens; and
    2. It's nice to address the other-handed people - that also rarely happens, and even less so from someone who is right-handed. I know you're NOT, so it only makes left-handed people a little more understandin and considerate by the very mature of society's disdain for us. So good on ya.
I am a left-handed dude, very much appreciating it.
