Great job! I sure liked the part when you said you take longer because you are picky. That's the reason it started on the first crank, well that and because it's a Honda.
@@Solitude313 I kinda of have to agree with Brandon Case but I’ll give you my reason since he never did lol I’ve got a 02 foreman 450 S she’s extremely temperamental & I’ve had tons of little issues with her which usually no big deal unless not a single 1 of the issues has jumped up n down screaming “IT’S ME I’M THE PROBLEM” they’ve been sneaky & playing hind n seek. So I’ve been telling my hard headed hubby we just need to start fresh with her & do basically what you did to this 1. Maybe your video will “talk” him into it 🤪🤪. If not it’s desperate measures for me if I could figure out how to at least get the front 2 tires in my trunk strap it all in and drag her somewhere to get fixed 🤪🤪. FYI his 2012 foreman 500 runs great but not mine nothing like the disabled 1 Arm Amputee fighting with a awful running 4-wheeler while steering with 1 arm 🤪🤪
I lost the rear end on my foreman today so I got to take apart try to fix the ring gear don't turn so the drive shaft or the ring and pinion are messed up
Im in the process of putting the same .40 over piston in my bike. Did you have to put a bigger jet in the carb? If so what size and if not do you think it would help at all.
What should the compreshion be on a 450 foreman did a test with electric start wide throttle wide open went to about 50psi them with the pull start went to about 80psi wide open throttle also might add mine wasnt smoking but it did have a lot of oil in the breather box any help would be great thanks
I have a 1999 foreman. 450 and its snorkeled and has a hmf, goin to purchase a jet kit from hmf but i don't know what size to put in it, has a 130, 135, and 140
2000 Honda foreman 450 does not want to start after warm wait a minute fires up put new carb on still does it but not as bad . New plug old one was black . Adjusted 25/8 out I’ll chk again to see if new arb burns cleaner .guy before me said it had new piston?whats up thinking of adjusting valves
hey man love the videos! I have a 02 Foreman 450 that I'm putting the wiseco high compression piston in. what jets do I run for it? and what size pipe should I use for my snorkel?
I have a 02 450 foot shift like this and I’ve changed carb new battery and all but it will start up and run for a sec and then cut right back off got gas to the carb and all if u know anything or anybody knows anything let me know what it could be
I've got a 16 Rubicon. Seen a video of someone throwing nos into it. Would you recommend or what. I want more power but i don't wanna break shit or sieze or destroy the motor.
SolitudeCustoms okay well what about gear reduction. Went riding this weekend and it pulls great unless it's thick mud. And here in Kentucky we have alot of that. I'm just needing a little extra help turning the 30"s
@@Solitude313 I could really use your help. Swapped out my 01 foreman 450s motor and put a fresh motor in .took it out and on the first night my buddy flooded it. I got it back to the trailer but now I cant get the tick out. And I have flushed the motor 5 times adjusted the valves. Not so bad at a idle but really noticeable when you hit the throttle can you give me some pointers please
Taylor Calhoun My dad was a carpenter and when I was a kid he supported my riding and I couldn't believe the rates and prices shops were charging and not knowing exactly what I was getting. So that point on I just started working on things and doing it my way and seeing all the things that shops could miss out on. So it just grew from there

I bought my carb from amazon for $60 bucks 3 years ago and still running strong 💪

love it when you breathe life info another one
I have never had goodluck with aftermarket carbs. Doing a top endnextweekon a 99 450es, glad to see i dont have to pull the motor!
Ive always had great luck with them for what they are. A little hiccup here or there but nothing crazy.
Yes! Another Solitude Customs video!
Did the same thing with my throttle cable. Good vid
I had a 04 and rebuild the top end at 3000odo great bike
awesome work man
Tip : always replace or really clean the oil cooler, holds tons of grit and metal that is near impossible to remove....ruins the new topend

There is no definite answer. What does it have in there now?

I bought a Chinese knockoff carb from amazon, and used the original/existing throttle cable and had no problems.
What do you use to clean the head, cylinders, etc?

Nice, I actually have one coming into the shop Friday for a Carb. Anything you want to see?
I have a 02 450 foot shift like this and I’ve changed carb new battery and all but it will start up and run for a sec and then cut right back off got gas to the carb and all if u know anything or anybody knows anything let me know what it could be
Oil in the airbox can be caused by Too much blah blah which is caused by the rings being bad
What year is is it

It could be your Timing Chain. Also you Adjusted Valves at TDC right?
I've enjoyed watching your videos. Wanting my son to watch it with me. I've not heard any profanity yet. Are your videos kid friendly?
I have 2 boys myself, I want all ages to learn from my Videos!
Nice 👍
Love your channel. Just curious....are you a mechanic by trade? I can tinker with my Foreman but nothing like this.

It’s gonna start to smoke again in no time if you don’t split the case and clean all the mud and debris out of it and the oil cooler
On a sunk wheeler yes.
nice work man it just tired right up
Check out my honda four Trax snorkel
Hey man I have the same Foreman, you might like to check out a review I did on my channel, thanks.
Where do u get your parts?
