I might have my project for the winter i sunk my foreman 400 so now it smokes aton after the oild change and whatnot and It looks super simple to do a rebuild on one with no chain running the valves just push rods

How are you liking the Namura piston? I did mine first with a Niche cylinder and piston, but I was getting piston slap at higher RPM. With the Niche setup, there is .005 clearance between the piston and the cylinder, and reviews online say the rattle or slap is common for Niche. I have ordered a Namura piston to replace the Niche one, and I am hoping that quietens it down. I bought it locked up after it had ran low on oil. The wrist pin had locked on the crank. I got it apart and the bore on the small end of the crank feels really good, just a light slip fit, no wiggle or slop. Fingers crossed it will be a good machine. It ran and shifted great with the Niche piston installed, it was just annoying to hear that sound under higher RPMs.

Update, I ordered a tool to help slip the piston in but still needed to do it by hand without the tool. But it had been successfully put back together with a cleaned up new seals in the vakve body and she's running great! Thank you again for the video man I appreciate it

Was a little tricky but with some patience and a couple breaks it went right back together as before and is doing good so far

Aluminum can cut the ends out wrap around the piston and pull tight to slip in.
They make a ring compressor just for this and you can pick up cheap one at Harbor Freight.

Hey I just did the top end on my 02 foreman 450 Es and did a dry compression test , was only seeing 55lbs did you check yours as well ? I know it takes a little for the rings to seat , just want to make sure this is normal ?
