Brush Fire | 4-17-2024 | Holly Springs, NC

A brush fire was dispatched for 160 Eastmill Lane, Holly Springs NC around 6:18pm on April 17th, 2024. Northwest Harnett responded and found what appeared to be a controlled burn with nobody watching it, but still contained. Shortly after crews arrived, the property owner pulled in and advised they would be staying to watch the fire, and with that all fire crews cleared from the call and NC Forestry was cancelled. According to another caller, someone had started the fire but left and someone else was supposed to be monitoring the fire.
