could hardly hear it. I had to put my computer's volume at full blast and youtube volume at full blast and still couln't really hear it

ok,my problem is that inkscape starts out as really tiny text.i did domething when i was using it no idea what.it comes out super tiny,the text i mean

yea never mind i found the problem,my peanut brain didn't see the apply button for the font,its all fixed now

I switched to Photoshop and Illustrator a few years ago. I'm sure if you used a color and color blend mode it would work though
