Seeing a video on this channel just makes my whole week. I am giving the Ultimate cocktail party this weekend with a lot of booze and I got all my recipes from you! Thank you so much, you have inspired me so much!
A peppermint patty: 1oz. Godiva Dark Chocolate Liqueur, 1oz. Crème de Menthe and a fairly large scoop (or 2) of vanilla ice cream. Add 2 dashes chocolate bitters. Blend briefly and spoon into a frozen Coupe glass. Garnish with a spanked sprig of mint.
THE BONNEVILLE COCKTAIL COLLECTION could you make a video of beer cocktails? I'm now living in a place where craftbeer is everything and people are kind of jarheads when it comes to cocktails. I once ordered a Negroni and a "bartender" said : what are you a faggot? Have a beer, be a man ,the rest of the bars just said they did'nt have it or know what that was while the bottles where gathering dust behind them. I would really appreciate your insight. Thanks!
Wow! Where are you living, the 1950's??? We've talked about making a beer cocktails video, so we'll probably shoot a video at some point! Keep a eye out!
Cocktail Katia: -35 ml white rum -20 ml grapefruit juice -15 ml cointreau/triple sec/curaçau -shake with 4/5 raspberries -strain in a highball glass and top it up with soda water cheers!
We make pina coladas the exact same way where i work and it's definitely a pain to core 30 of them before the shift! They taste bloody marvelous though
KarolaTea the version of he history I’ve heard was that sailors would soak a small bit of powder in rum and if it lit, that was proof that it wasn’t too watered down (and that the quartermaster wasn’t too crooked). This is the first place I’ve heard the implication that officers were worried that their rum would get the powder stocks wet, which is a somewhat dubious assertion given the relative quantities available aboard a warship (not that they wouldn’t have a lot of rum, but a barrel holds 50+ gallons and an individual’s daily ration was no more than a cup, so 800 days per barrel, even on a long voyage that’s at least 5-10 sailors per barrel, whereas cannons use charges about 1/4-1/3 the mass of the balls they fire, large ships would have dozens of guns and want to be able to fire dozens of rounds from each during an engagement, and since powder is less dense than water that same 50-gallon barrel would hold less than 400 pounds, which would fire perhaps 50-100 shots. I did the math, maybe someone else can do the history and find actual figures for the British Navy?
What a fun new episode! I'm also glad you tried my variation on the pina colada, I think the flavor is so much better than your standard pineapple juice and over sweet creamed coconut pina colada. I think you should also check out the buffalo milk, it's the official drink of catalina island, every place makes it a little different but they all are a vodka base with creme de cacao, and most places will add creme de banana, coffee liquor or creme de menth or all of them! The drink is blended with ice and milk, served with whipped cream and garnished with nutmeg
Hi sir I studied cocktails for about a year, and I hope that I can be a bartender like you XD I studied in a lounge and the guy that teaches me bartending told me to come up with a complex cocktail, so I came up with Rum 20ml Apple juice 30ml Grape juice 30ml Lemon juice 15ml Rose syrup 10 ml Half passion fruit Shake with ice, pour into a whiskey glass filled with crushed ice Top of with Mexican beer Garnish with the other half of passion fruit, apple slices and mint Hope that you can try out this recipe and maybe give me some advice, thank you, love your video
I’ve just made the Shark Bite today using fresh juices, it did not get stuck to the blender and not quite as thick as yours, but enough for the grenadine to float nicely on top. Definitely quite boozy, dry and sour. The grenadine barely sweetened the drink for my sweet tooth.. I’m using Velier navy strength rum which is 57.18% and it shines through the slush nicely. I think I may try this again with bottled orange juice which is sweeter. Because Pussers is not available in my area, I am using Velier which makes this the most expensive cocktail I have concocted to date but still a fun drink as you said ;)
Would love if you guys could make a video on the types of cocktail glasses and when to use what etc., similar to the" cocktail shaker and hawthorne strainer" vid which was great and detailed!
@@JasminMiettunen Most people on Brazil double the amount of condensed milk and usually its a fruit juice ( strawberry being The most popular) instead of The pouree

I love themes for your videos... so I know it's a bit early, but I'm reeeaaally looking forward to a new halloween cocktail video! Are you guys up for that? :)
I am really, really interested in making your Dirty Banana at home. What brand of Banana Liqueur did you use? What exactly do I ask for when buying this or something similar at the liquor store?
:( no affiliate links for the Canadian Amazon... Still great drinks! Shark bite is my favourite. For the dirty banana I do add 15ml of clear creme the cocoa for another dimension.
I want to ask for forgiveness in advance for my English! I myself am from a distance, and since I do not know English, I write through an interpreter! in the Bar for 2 years but I only cook coffee, and do some cocktails, watch your video, and enjoy your skill, and only dream about how to work the way you do) want to thank you for your video, and wish you good luck .

Such high quality video work and skilled bar keeping. Love that you guys aren’t so pretentious that you would avoid a blender.
I’m gonna try them shaken over crushed ice because we don’t have a blender around here. Not the same but hopefully it’ll still be almost as delicious
I was just binge watching your old videos, perfect timing!

Please make a video on wine cocktails!! For bartenders who love making cocktails but work in a wine-centric venue
wouldnt that pineapple spikes scratch the throat? since he didnt strain it?
Chew!
hehe... still.. you cant catch all of em.... blending may have left some tiny ones....
Is it wrong to drink summer cocktail in winter because that batida look so good
If you have good heating then why not
Is it mandatory to add the ice last to the blender please ? Just curious
It is, or else the drink would be more dilute and less thick. Which won’t taste that great to most people in my opinion
Hey teacher, i want to learn about cocktail🙏❤ you should make a book and recipes for sell.
