It’s annoying that a man can’t even hug someone that believes in him and is defending him during a trial without people forming baseless theories of them being in a relationship. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Hey Harvey, for those of us that watched the trial from start to finish, Ms. Heard did not produce any evidence that Depp ever abused her but Deep produced plenty that she abused him. Doubtful the jury missed that, lol! And Depp's got a close relationship with all the attorneys on his team. That's not strategic, it's real respect.

She is a competent, impactful, and professional attorney who spent years of her life helping to build a case to help JD clear his name and expose turds lies. You see, what I don't understand. If the trial forces Depp out of Fantastic Beasts. And the accusations forced Heard out of Aquaman 2. How is this not a draw. It's a Defamation Case. Both differed loses because of the trail. Meaning, DONT BOTH WIN? It’s not about history, or past. It’s about how this trial negatively hurt both careers. It did.
It wouldn’t be too hard to outclass AH and her attorneys. But JDs attorneys are outstanding.
JD was exploited by these people. They took advantage of his addiction and took as much from him as they could (money, drugs, connections, room, board). This is nothing more than an elaborate & collusive extortion scheme to strike gold in the form of JDs fortunes. None of the people were isolated by JD, nor did any of them ever run away or publicize such claims until Amber knew it was over and tried to get ahead of the narrative with TROs, divorce filings, and false allegations. Let's pray the Judge and Jury have atleast one active brain cell….

Heard’s every gesture has been analyzed and scrutinized. Depp’s odd behavior? Not so much. The actor smiled, grinned and snacked on candy throughout the trial. Depp is either an abuser, or a victim of abuse. But his body language throughout this excruciating ordeal has remained casual, even cheerful. It would be hard to imagine Heard getting away with similar (even seeming) nonchalance

@sarah j no offense to you sister, but the lawsuit was filed for specific words in the title of the op-ed and that was "Sexual VIOLENCE" not emotional abuse, not psychological abuse but sexual violence which has hugely dented depp's reputation and as Camille and Ben Chew said in their closing statement Words matter, so has depp committed any sexual or any physical violence on Amber, the answer is NO, so case is Closed, Johnny should get the win

When you have this particular case and you’re appointed by ambers side and getting paid for your job, it don’t matter if you’re the best lawyer, you will have almost no chance. Lawyers get paid to do their job even if they know they are on the wrong side. Even a prisoner who has killed 20 kids will also be appointed with a lawyer but that don’t mean that the lawyer is bad, it’s just the case which is ridiculous.
Camille is brilliant, she out classes AH lawyers at every turn. She has them stuttering, they dont know which way to turn, she has them questioning their own questioning. She really is truly BRILLIANT. Love watching her. There must be thousands and thousands of documents to refer to in this case, along with numerous pictures. The mind boggles at all that paperwork. No wonder it has taken 2 years to go to trial.

I was married to and then mercifully divorced an 'Amber Heard'. She had all the characteristics and more displayed by Heard. I was the victim of domestic and emotional abuse, and I was subjected to several episodes of violence. I told no-one for the sake of my children. I know exactly how JD suffered, and I recognise the pathological lying he had to endure, just as I had to. I recount much of this in my memoir 'Surgeon in the Raw' (amazon) and the similarities are breath taking. My account is verified by a detailed diary and recordings of my ex-wife's rants and rages. She vilified, denigrated and humiliated me in the Sun (once again similar to JD) and other newspapers for over 2 weeks getting paid a considerable sum for her life story. From my own experience, I can almost guarantee that AH is the product of what I consider, is a very debilitating personality disorder and JD made a bad choice, just as I did

One of many stories from Heard that are unbelievable. But she told them under oath in court anyway. There are so many avenues to find proof of perjury by her. If the police starts investigating perjury she could get into real trouble, meaning possibly going to jail and so losing what means most to her now: being a mother. I think she is not lying about that at least.
So at this point, she really should seek settlement out of court. I wonder if that would mean perjury claims against her would go away, or is the state of Virginia taking over at this point no matter what?

As a juror many times I see the abuse AH did to Johnny , I believed every word Johnny spoke on his abuse from her and heard the lies AH spewed .
What some people don't realize is that Camille was one of Johnny's lawyers during the UK case. She's been working this for YEARS waiting for the moment when she old put the screws to AH and get the truth told about Johnny and the trauma he endured by AH. So yeah. Camille and Johnny do have a friendship and a business relationship. Even the newer people on his team have been working on this case for at least 2 years. They've gotten to know Johnny and were/are ready to stand and fight for him. None of that constitutes a romantic relationship. It constitutes a group of people who respect each other and will do what they need to do to right a wrong. And to suggest otherwise because of the dollar bills that were slid to you to think that way is ludicrous and insulting
People are flying to Virginia and waiting in line overnight to show their love and support to an innocent man who has been physically, emotionally, and psychologically abused by his ex-wife, wrongly accused of DV, slandered, and ostracized by his work community and ridiculed for over 6 years. I don’t believe there are statutes of limitations for perjury in either Country.
Why stop in the US case? I know JD appealed in the UK case & it was stuck down so double jeopardy, so to speak, is in play. But as no one said ever, they cannot pursue perjury charges.

Abused people do NOT provoke the abuser. She claims to have been afraid of JD yet she repeatedly provoked him, insulted him, belittled him and you do not do that to someone of whom you are afraid. She recorded him while doing so yet there is zero evidence of him abusing her physically. If he had abused her as harshly and frequently as she claims, the evidence would be astronomical. You do not hit and punch someone, get bruised and it go away quickly. That is simply a lie. She is a liar.
I was so scared to provoke mine I would stay silent but than I would get hit for being to quiet. She such a scumbag and a liar most victims are going to do there best not to antagonize there abuser. Though we may try to stand up for ourselves sometimes, that's not the same as what she was doing.

Actually- abuse has nothing to do with who provoked whom. Abuse is abuse. For example: if someone is in your face yelling and even throws something at you, hitting them is still assault. And it is very common for those who are abused to return abuse or abuse others. It is learned behavior.

I never thought that JD was “dating” his attorney! It was a hard day in court and JD was so thankful that his attorney put her in the hot seat! AH has contradictory testimony, admits to hitting JD, has a history of DV, witnesses that contradict her and each other. AH has done more harm to actual victims of DV by lying about what happened to her and at the same time possibly committing DV against her partners/spouses!
I did wonder if some of the PDA was to get under Ashley's skin....ps she looks like she is medicated to remain calm...lol

@@Laylalover85 I did, too. The audio recordings give a LOT of indication that AH is very demanding of his attention. Seeing him get along so well with a beautiful attorney could be a very effective strategy to knock her off her game. Amber is obviously a master at mind games, so I think it's one turned on her.
It would have been unethical for his lawyer to date him so no I never once believed the runner at all. It would not have surprised me at all if AH had put that out there in the first place to try and undermine his lawyers. Well it did not work and everyone who even thought for one second that they were really do not understand the dynamics of client and lawyer.
He hugged his male attorneys as well. I guess he’s in a polyamorous relationship with like five people, and a stuffed alpaca.
I have felt so much emotion on this case. I feel so frustrated for Johnny. Especially when she has gone further to damage him by saying she was sexually assaulted. I have been triggered & have cried. I have been a victim of violence, gaslighting, coercive behaviour from ex partners. It breaks down your soul & rips you apart. I've had lies told about me by my sister, my partner's ex wife & ex partner. Why ? Because i am like Johnny. I had a controlling , temperamental mother. You couldn't do or say anything because you would get a nasty look or shouted at or smacked. Once you are forced & made to tolerate violence & name calling from your own mother then you feel it is the norm. So then when you are in a relationship where the other person is stronger & starts to take over. They realise they can get away with quite a lot because we as victims of our mothers have tolerated nasty cruel, vicious behaviour. Then we try to stick up for ourselves & tell the truth & that's it! They will get nastier & will do anything to hide the violence & abuse they have given you by telling everyone that you are the monster, the evil person, the abuser & the selfish person. My sister told everyone I screamed at her even though my daughter heard our heated discussion & said we both had raised voices. My sister started all arguments. On me asking my mum if the guy she was having an affair with was my real dad..her face changed to thunder & through gritted teeth told me never to mention that again! My ex told everyone I was a liar & possessive at the pub we worked & lived in when I confronted him about his affair with my daughters , friend's mum. I was violently attacked by him & everyone believed him. I left with my daughter & a few months later a policewoman who was a regular at the pub apologized to me when the police were called to the pub due to a fight between husband & my ex after he realised they were having an affair. I suffered PTSD through that. So I really do hope Johnny wins but if he doesn't I am glad he has had the chance to expose the real Amber Heard! Welldone Johnny ❤️👍
I am really pleased that Johnny can now get back to his life, and know that the world believed him.
There is so much support for him, I imagine his career will blossom greatly, going foreword. And the very opposite for Ms Heard.
It's a massive win, not just for Johnny, but for all the victims of narcissistic personalities, male and female.

Even if both sides ends up with a "zero" legal win, it is still a huge win for JD. This lawsuit has countered the abuse publicity and restored his reputation. And he has also done a huge service in showing that men can be the victims of abuse, that there is a huge society disbelief about that, and that female abusers can and will use that society disbelief to their advantage.

Just because Camille hugs Johnny and is attentive to his case dosen't it show just how invested she and the legal team are in defending Johnny and their absolute belief in him? Why is it so hard to admit that it's hard to defend a case like Amber, he's making it sound like her lawyers are the problem.
I agree her case is hard to defend to some extent but at the same time her lawyers are also being out classed too. There have been mistakes on their part that range from the silly such as them objecting to their own question to the disastrous in which was questioned and brought up that she heard that Johnny abused a former girlfriend when said former girlfriend has repeatedly denied any abuse took place. This allows Depp's lawyers to call her to the stand to refute what Heard said so that her credibility is destroyed even further. Depp has the better case but his lawyers have also been better. Even he doesn't win the case, it has been a PR boon for him and a disaster for her. He is likely getting his career back and hers is likely dead and buried.
It's always hard to defend a mentally unstable liar. But Heard's team are borderline incompetent. Switch those two teams and Depp wouldn't have a chance, regardless of his guilt or innocence.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that the jury finds both parties were abusive to each other, from their point of view of the evidence, even though Amber seems to be the most culpable, the fact is that she launched a specific accusation against him and broadcast it to the world that Johnny was the abuser, not the other way around.
This, in my opinion, is enough to find her guilty of defaming him. She gave the impression that she is faultless, even tries to justify her abuse of him. He wasn't the one who started it. He protected her even after she cut off his finger; poses with a black eye, smiling with arms around her as if nothing happened, etc. That is why I call for #justiceforJohnny!

It wasn't that tight. Some of the questions she asked were incoherent, and you can see several moments where she had no answer to what Heard said and quickly moved onto the next question. For example, she discussed the writing on the mirror and then tried to imply that Amber Heard was writing snarky messages on the mirror. When Heard asked her what the actual question was, she said nothing and moved on.

I developed a bond with my family lawyer after going through an emotional and traumatic custody battle , I won. But during trial I was so emotionally wrecked I leaned on her for support and guidance. She gave me confidence and was very affectionate and kind. Much like Camille. My lawyer was also female and a huge comfort and source of encouragement. You can grow a huge bond. Doesn't mean they are dating ..just means she is properly doing her job and her client feels safe and comfortable.
