I don't think she was ever out to 'prove' anything. It was more about just throwing out lies like Marti Gras beads and scratching her head at why no one was buying it this time. I think this was a glimpse at the life of someone that only got this far in life cause other enablers worked out the complicated stuff for her, and now that she was on the stand, she wound up falling apart because bit by bit, the prosecution showed the world what kind of monster she really was. From the moment Camille grilled her about why she had that $7 million dollar divorce settlement for 13 months when she promised the whole thing to charity, she stole Johnny's title of 'monster' right then and there.
If jury has decided that Amber Heard has lied under the oath why is Amber Heard not in jail for breaking the oath at the court??!! Instead of that she is still given opportunity to speak her psychopathic nonsense on TV?! It makes me sick to my stomach that she was the one who BURRIED HERSELF in her lies and yet she still goes on TV speaking that she has never lied and nation got manipulated by Johnny's beloved character?? Please, stop this sick nonsense and send this female psychopath Amber Heard to jail like any other person would go after breaking the oath!

That was always a long-shot. The UK media have mastered what they can and can't be sued for (such as writing "Depp is suspected of being a wife-beater, according to these articles" as opposed to "Depp is a wife-beater", and being careful with their wording). The courts rarely rule against them, though even I was surprised by the blatant corruption on show.
Many times people forget that a person is INNOCENT until PROVEN GUILTY. Especially media. I am so glad this was an eye opener for everyone.

I'm English and I have been on Johnny's side since he didn't get the verdict in the UK trial. The public here mostly thought he was going to win and were shocked when the judge went against him. It was so unfair.
The fact she lied for 6 years about giving away her divorce settlement to charity is despicable and I hope the High Court in London throw out the 2020 verdict and have her charged with perjury.

First off the case in the UK was against a news paper.
And the reason he lost is because he couldn't prove the fact they knew the statements were false. Because they didn't.

Oh, I have no doubt that Depp wasn’t easy to live with, and that he occasionally slammed things or got verbally abusive. But it’s pretty obvious that Amber was both physically and verbally abusive, and lied a great deal on the stand.
Trial outcomes that should happen:
• Remove AH as a ACLU Ambassador.
• Remove AH as a UN Human Rights Ambassador.
• Remove AH from Aquaman 2.
• Stop giving AH acting roles.
• Remove Amber Heard as a L'Oreal spokesperson.
• Remove AH as a public figure.
I think she should be removed as the ambassador, and get some psychological help. A stay in a facility for a while so she can get assistance with healing and medication. So she doesn’t get violent with her child.

what she said about AH future in Hollywood is on point. many productions won't want her because the single presence of her on screen is going to make everyone who saw through her lies, feel uncomfortable and not wanting to watch the movie/show. the petition to get her out of the Aquaman sequel being an example of that. The other thing they would also think further about it, 'what if we become the next victim of her lies just because she didn't get things to go her way'. YES. My husbands Ex wife is- was, a pathological liar. From the very first day I met her in person, not knowing anything about her, she handed me some money to give to hubby. Later hubby said that was child support ( he had custody), and that she shorted him, and he told her so. The ex said I must have stolen the money! Me, the new wife, stole. I had her children with me at the time , and asked her if she wanted them ( since she was there in middle of the day), no she did not want to take her kids. She continued to lie about having cancer, thyroid cancer, Melanoma, and brain tumor-- all of which should have killed her- but sadly did not. She emailed at 3 am talking about weird crap. Told kids I was trying to adopt the kids, which I never needed or had desire to adopt since both parents are alive and well! Crazy crazy crazy.

@@priyamrita22 That was likely a compromise to satisfy a holdout, given that he did not simply call her a liar, but claimed that she did very specific things, and the jury must be unanimous. They couldn't have ruled in favor for all of Johnny's claims without believing that Amber was lying.
@@priyamrita22 that's not true. The only part they found to be defamatory was the specific statement that she and her friends staged photos in a particular instance. As an observant human, I find this to be a credible explanation, but I can see that Waldman didn't have evidence to prove it.
@@priyamrita22 That is not what Waldman said. He said Amber and others smashed up the apartment to convince the cops on their second visit. The jury decided that at the time of the statement that was defamatory. The jury unequivocally believed Depp himself, hence the big, big win.
Considering the man she accused lost out on jobs and was on the verge of being cancelled because of the FALSE allegations she made against him, she absolutely should be cancelled and unemployable going forward.

I watched Aquaman with Jason Mamoa and didn’t even pay her character attention. They kept mentioning her role in this movie and all I kept thinking was “She was there?!?!” Anyway! Never saw the movie she got introduced in with JD but I will take a peak at some point. She’s in it so I’m not exactly in a rush.

After reading (and agreeing wholeheartedly) dozens of comments about AH, having shown her true colors, and now following the verdict, I think everyone has said it all for me. I agree with Megyn Kelly…she is no longer employable…not in Hollywood or to be an ambassador for any line of products or organization, either. She tried, with a vengeance, to destroy JD’s life and ended up destroying her own in the process. However, there is one particular career path that she may be able to pursue successfully…politics! 😐

Many of these claims made in the press against men should not be taken as fact. I know several people personally who were falsely defamed by women who were NOT harmed. These women wanted either money or to damage a guy they felt rejected by. We cannot have trials in the press, and we should not allow another person's career to be destroyed simply by claims. Words are not proof. There must be evidence before someone is decided they have engaged in criminal or harmful behavior.
