Did you have to solder the switches or any part on the build?

I build my own. The right space bar switch is always falling off😢 also the kerb is kinda tiny for foam. Do you think this is hallow?

Thanks for watching! I quite like how it sounds, but it’s purposefully open compared with the more muted sound of other boards I’ve built. That just means I have options depending on my mood on any given day.

As someone who is getting into custom keyboards this is very informative.
how do you deal with the fact that this keyboard doesn't have numbers?

It has them, just not in the usual spot. You access them using a modifier key and just memorize the corresponding letter on the keyboard (it’s a bit like when press the shift key to access a character that isn’t actually on the keyboard). If you search for “QMK” you’ll find a ton of info about how to program keyboards like this to have the keys you need where you need them.

My question exactly! Thank you for asking! And for answering!

This is so adorable. SA is so so very high 😭 and I bought so so many keycaps 💀 But this is on my list for next for sure! The 40% looks so cute! But seems a bit much for frequent use? What's Mac keyboards? Both laptop on desktop? 60? I think that might be my smallest for comfort and function. Thanks for this! I have subscribed.

Thanks for the sub! Yes, it's great for occasional use, not so great for everyday use. My preference is 65%.
