Hi Ricky & Raquel. Thanks for another interesting trip to a less travelled place in Mexico. Raquel, I love your beautiful blue pom pom blouse. Where did you buy it? Puerto Morelos or ? You always seem to have such great embroidered blouses etc. Take care!
Hi Cheryl, thank you! I bought the blouse in Oaxaca when we were travelling there. You can get similar blouses in the area if you are down but they are a lot more expensive than in the Oaxaca area.
Hi Guy's, if you are going to Progreso it would definitely be worth your while to explore that coastline it is a very special place. Lots of very nice beaches and little towns to explore!!
Hi Ricky & Raquel! Hope all’s great with you. We wanted to go to Chuburna as friends of our from Spokane owned a condo there and planned to retire there but unfortunately his health turned bad and they had to sell it….a really sad time for them. They absolutely loved living there. We enjoyed your video. No thanks on the chivites. Take care and keep enjoying your beautiful life.
Hi Sarah, that is so sad to hear that your friend could not retire to Chuburna we are so sorry for them. The Chivita's are not for everyone but we had to give them a try!! Thank you
The beach looked very pretty and quiet. It was windy. I have a question about driving . . . do you have to have to have your residency to drive? I heard that from someone else and wondered. I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Monique, you are quite right it is a matter of taste between Q Roo and Yucatan State. We like them both but perhaps Q Roo is more touristy. We like exploring in Yucatan it feels totally different to us. We got to Chelem but unfortunately we didn't have time to explore Chicxulub nor Progreso we are leaving that for the next visit!!
What a beautiful little town. I love that you go to different places to show all of what Mexico has to offer. Wow, it was very windy, I was feeling the sandblast, lol.
You make your own coffee when you travel, too? We are kindred spirits! That was a very nice variety of botanas before your meal. We'd love to try the local specialty in Chuburna -- chivitas.
Hi Guy's, yes we have been burned a few times in our travels so we always travel with a coffee maker just to be sure! Instant coffee just doesn't cut it!! The botanas were excellent, the Chivitas are worth trying but to be perfectly honest not our favourite we will stick to Escargot! Chuburna and that region is worth a visit.
Beautiful beaches ⛱️ I had no idea glamping could be so lovely!! Love the town area. Looks like you had a fun time exploring. Did you try other types of fish while you were there?
Hi Laurieann, we took the toll road on this occasion but because of all the construction it does take a little while longer than normal. We have taken the free roads before but then you have to deal with all the Tope's but it's fun!
Love this video. Although it wasn't ideal you made a good information video for someone wanting to go experience Chuburna. What was the cost of your cabin?
47 seconds into Video and Ricky is chowing down! You guys have bit of an Anthony Bourdain (RIP) thing going on, with side dish of comedy. 🤣 #fooddaredevils.
Sorry we don’t live there we were just visiting so we didn’t really look at the prices for accommodations other than the place we stayed that we thought was reasonable

Hi Debbie, we don't believe it is like that all the time but we had to take cover for sure!! Thank you we like to try and explore the small towns too.
Very cool!

Lovely beach town 😀
Hi Vivian, yes it's a very nice and quaint little town!
Question porfa, on the topic of sunsets, were are they in the Puerto Morelos area? I am heading north soon.
Hi Laurieann, the sun sets in the Jungle at the bottom of Calle Trasatlantico in the La Colonia side.
Love this video. Although it wasn't ideal you made a good information video for someone wanting to go experience Chuburna. What was the cost of your cabin?
Hi Victor, glad you liked it, it is a little off the beaten track. The cost for the Cabana is $990 Mex Pesos per night so around $50 USD
@@RickRackTravels loved this video. There are so many places close by to visit. Beautiful beach!!!
@@Whatarewedoingtoday2021 thanks so much Shelly ! Yes, we are spoiled for choice on the Yucatan peninsula

Sorry we don’t live there we were just visiting so we didn’t really look at the prices for accommodations other than the place we stayed that we thought was reasonable
