What a quaint little town! Very pretty in Yellow. So much history and superb Maya ruins right in town. The fact that the ruins are free to enter is an added bonus. I have to say the restaurants look fantastic!
A very yellow town indeed! Of course I'm partial to yellow. I was surprised and delighted to see that John and Dixie had visited the town. The coffee looked amazingly and so did the food. Great video!
We loved this video! Thank you for taking us back to our visit to Izamal - what a special place this is! One of our best memories from that visit is taking a horse drawn carriage through town at dusk - magical! It was lovely seeing the hotel we stayed at back in 2009: Hotel San Miguel Arcángel. It seems you both had a wonderful time in Izamal! Wow your dinner at La Conquista Restaurante looked absolutely amazing! We hope we get to return to Izamal some day. Thanks for a brilliant video. Excellent choice on the nail varnish (polish) Raquel - you complemented the city very nicely 😉.
It is such a pretty town as you both know. The hotel garden was beautiful and it looked like a very nice hotel from the outside. Dinner was very good and the food in general in the town was great. Thank you regarding the nails lol!!
The two of you are the bomb, absolutely delightful, I have never found better travel descriptions and photography, you are both totally kind hearted and knowledgeable, some of your pronunciations make me cringe, but with a smile. You feel like family, Rachel's laugh is just like my belated Aunt Betty's. I will follow you anywhere!!!
Wonderful video, excellent editing...well done! Belinda and I will have to put this little yellow town on our list of places to visit. Your review of the food is so good....has given me some inspiration as to what to do with the Chaya plant we just planted. All the best ...K
Great video! Not sure how I missed your bug video from a year ago, I just watched it and enjoyed it, thank you for continuing to make wonderful content. We (my wife and I) started our adventure around 8 years ago. Decided we wanted to live abroad and do more than just get old and collect things. In that time we have prepared to make this transition to Mexico. We will be leaving for our adventure in the next week and a half and just wanted to share something with you. When we get imposter syndrome and are nervous about the decisions we are making by selling everything and leaving friends and family we watch your channel to inspire us to follow our dream. Thank you for providing that. See you in Puerto Morelos in a few weeks.
Thank you so so much for writing this. Congratulations to you and your wife on embarking on your grand adventure! Super awesome! Yes, we agree, getting old and collecting things isn’t that appealing to us either. Thank you for watching our videos (it made us so happy to hear they were inspiring) and also for watching our big video (not our most popular one haha) Vive la vida amigos !

Thanks Shane, the food was very nice indeed some really nice restaurants for a small town.
Great job!
I pulled out a couple awesome quotes:
“Kinda muddle your way thru”
“Could be, might not be”
#funnybyaccident
Haha yes, that sounds like us lol. Thanks for keeping us grounded Jason and your always amusing comments
And yet another beautiful little town, thank you for sharing. You def put a lot into your visits and I always look forward to your Friday videos.
Thank you so much for your kind comment Debbie. Really appreciate that. And yes, it’s a stunner of a town !
I actually really appreciate that not so many colors present but solid yellow . Nice approach..
Thanks so much Anna. Yes, agree the town has a very powerful visual impact

Thanks Lucas, yes our accents and pronunciation can be a challenge but we are trying to improve lol
Always I love your videos, but I am interested in knowing why Yellow..... I must investigate!
Thank you Victor! We are also interested to know why it’s yellow …. Please let us know if you find out anything with your investigation!

Thank you for your kind words Kate!! We love Chaya but it has to be cooked to remove the toxins. It is very nice in scrambled eggs!!
Did I see framed album covers all over that cafe wall?? OMG - LOL. I'm a vinyl record enthusiast.😊
Try Cecilia Bakes in Puerto Morelos if your here. There is a small studio and vinyl record shop.
Hi Guy's, yes he has a large collection of vinyl records, definitely worth a visit if that is what you like!
Finally back in, so I can watch this . Lovely video. Sad so much original Mayan was destroyed.
We agree but there are still a lot of beautiful ruins in the town to enjoy. History can be sad at times.
